London Design Festival 2011 - Martha Freud - London

Granddaughter of Clement Freud and named after Sigmund Freud's wife, Martha Freud is a talented furniture designer who has certainly established a name for herself in her own right. With a fresh and unconventional approach to creating nature-infused pieces, this young London-based designer is an exciting addition to the industry. Her latest exhibition 'Mixed Messages', in conjunction with this year's London Design Festival, was installed in Camley Street Natural Park and centred on objects that compliment personal, interior spaces; reflecting on how we relate to ourselves and our environment. Crane.tv meets with Freud in her studio to hear about her creative process. www.marthafreud.com
