About this series: Insane Championship Wrestling - Monday Night BRAW! ICW is a Glasgow based wrestling promotion. We held our first event in October 2006 called 'Fear & Loathing' were 'Thee' Drew Galloway(now Drew MacIntyre in WWE) became the first ICW Champion. Drew lost the belt to Darkside in July 2007 at 'ReZerection'. BT Gunn became the 3rd ICW Champ in June 2010. Later that year Darkside returned from a broken back to shock Scottish wrestling and reclaim the title and join 'The Gold Label' alongside Red Lighting, Lionheart and Wolfgang and run roughshot over ICW attempting a hostile takeover. ICW announced in late 2009 that in 2010 ICW would be running regular shows from the Central Halls in Maryhill. Several months later crowds grew too largre for the Maryhill Halls to handle and ICW moved to a new city center venue, Apollo 23, soon after ICW started running shows in the Classic Grand in the city center aswell. In 2011 ICW has been mentioned in The Sun, The Sunday Mail, The Wrestling Press, Fighting Spirit Magazine and Power Slam magazine.
