Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joins Shannon Bream TONIGHT at 11:00pm ET in an exclusive interview on Fox News Channel.
Pompeo will discuss a range of foreign policy issues that have been at the forefront of the news cycle in recent weeks, including President Trump's summit with Vladimir Putin, efforts to come to an agreement on denuclearization with North Korea and President Trump's meeting with NATO members.
Speaking on Wednesday, Pompeo said a deal with North Korea "may take some time," emphasizing that sanctions will remain in place.
"There’s a lot of work to do. It may take some time to get where we need to go. But all of this will be taking place against the backdrop of continued enforcement of existing sanctions," he said at a White House cabinet meeting.
Meantime, Pompeo is scheduled to testify next Wednesday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee over Trump's summit with the Russian president.
The president drew outrage from both sides of the aisle Monday for questioning the U.S. intelligence community's assessments that Russia was responsible for hacking the DNC's emails in 2016 as part of a broader effort to interfere in the election.
Trump later clarified the remarks, telling CBS News on Wednesday that he holds Putin personally responsible for the meddling.
"He's in charge of the country, just like I consider myself to be responsible for things that happen in this country," said Trump.
Hear Secretary of State Pompeo's thoughts on these critical issues at 11:00pm ET tonight on "Fox News @ Night."
