I don't know if we ever discussed Sharpe on the old board. Along with Hornblower, one of my favorite series ever. Not quite the writing of Forester, but still fantastic.
His other books are good also, especially the civil war books.
I know he lives on the Cape for most of the year, when you got the dough go where it's the best!
