Brumal blizzard blasts batter buttons from my thermals. Winter's throwing stars torment my exposed frame. Billowing back and forth, as they are flung. Flowing flakes of snow fall softly on my tongue.

There is much to be said about love, it brings us ultimate joy, or unbearable heartbreak. Sometimes it brings us both in one amazing moment, but through it all we remain steadfast in our desire to search for it, hold it and obtain it.

In honor of Rob's RAV award, this article talks about the amazing things that one person can do. For those who want to make a difference, this is proof that it is possible, one person at a time.
I am not prone to anger, or shouting, or even really telling people when they have upset me, I find that life is to short and no one is perfect, so is it really messing with my health?
I just wanted to take a moment and share my excitement over Rob Ballew being nominated and selected for a RAV Award! I cannot think of a more deserving person than Rob.

Every day we can do something to change the world, one small thing that affects the world around us. We could stop the spread of aids by transmission from the mother with just a few small steps. So Newsvine I ask you...What would you do?
There are many things we can do to change the world, we just have to choose to do them. Buying Red Products allows you to provide medicine to those in need in America and abroad.... This Christmas season, make your dollar count for something.
Muhammad is not just a name any more. I never in my life thought things could get any more @!$%#ed up but now I found out a grade school teacher in Sudan, is sentenced to 15 days in jail and deportation for naming a teddy bear Muhammad.

For a moment visualize yourself floating on a calm river, you are in a raft and you are just gazing up at the beautiful blue sky. You could never imagine what lies ahead of you, for at this moment you are at peace, you are happy.

Have you ever been walking on a path and goofing around with friends, suddenly you are pushing each other back and forth, until one of you inevitably falls? It seems to me that at times our life is similar to this path, life tugs on us and pushes us around, sometimes in fun, some …

Melcoulter is scanting and I predict she will be a star on Newsvine. She presents good information, insight and personal comments in an interesting and polite way. I try to read each of her stories and would advise everyone to put her on your watchlist.
— O-K
Mel, My comment should have said tell us 8 things about you that we do not know. You have been tagged. :)

What can you say about Mel, that she won't get me back for later... kidding!
Mel is one of those people that proves blonds have more fun, and then disproves the blond jokes. She can work the finest nuance out of a story and isn't afraid to dig deep within herself to share her thoughts and feelings.
Green not blue, green not blue, green not blue...

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your first several posts. You write with a great self awareness and present your thoughts in great symbolism and analogies that make it easy for the reader to understand your points.
I look forward to more of your works.
