I = 43

R = 72

Step 3: Follow this step if option symbol is known; otherwise, skip to Step 4.

1. First, select OS.

2. The system will prompt you to enter the symbol. Use two numbers for each letter (see Letter Conversion Table above), then hit #.

3. The system will repeat each letter as each second number is entered, then after #, the extended quote will begin.

Step 4 (++): Follow these steps if you want a quote on an option, but only know the underlying stock symbol.

1. First, select OL.

2. Then use the table above to enter the underlying stock symbol.

3. The system will prompt you to enter the month. The months are numbered 1 - 12:

Jan. - 1

Feb. - 2

March - 3

April - 4

May - 5

June - 6

July -7

Aug. - 8

Sept. -9

Oct. - 10

Nov. - 11

Dec. - 12

4. Next, the system will prompt you for the Strike Price. Use the phone key pad to enter the information. It will prompt you for the whole number and decimal portion separately.

Step 5: Using the Quote List feature:

When using the Quote List feature, you can hear a list of quotes that you have created, rather than entering in each symbol individually. You can create up to nine lists with up to 15 symbols each.

1. First, select LI.

2. Select a list number (1 - 3). If you choose a number that you do not have a list for, you will be asked to press 0 to add symbols to the new list.

3. Choose from the following: 1 - to hear a list with quotes, 2 - to edit an existing list, # - to select a different list.

General Quote Tips:

  • Because Q and Z do not appear on the phone keypad, use 77 for Q and 99 for Z.
  • A whole or extended quote includes current quote, amount up/down, close (if after 4:00 p.m. EST), volume, bid and ask.
  • If listening to your list and all you want is the current quote (Last), press # to skip to the next quote.
