Learn More About the Community >The Transfer Funds feature on OptionsFirst allows customers to electronically transfer funds into their account, as well as Wire Transfer funds out of and/or request a check out of their account directly from the OptionsFirst platform.
To electronically deposit funds, you will need to establish an ACH relationship with the bank of your choice. This can be done online by first selecting the 'Establish a New Relationship' link on the bottom right of the Transfer Funds tab. Enter your bank Account and Routing number. After that, two small deposits will be made to your bank account. You will need to verify the amounts of those deposits under the transfer funds tab to establish the relationship. Once this relationship is established, you may request transfers to your brokerage account. These transfers take three business days.
To withdraw funds from your account, you may request a Wire Transfer or check. Wire transfers can be sent to accounts at the bank of your choice; you will simply need to enter the bank name and account and routing numbers. If you request a check, you just need to enter the request amount, and a check will be mailed to the address on file.
If you have any questions regarding transferring funds to and from your OptionsFirst account, please contact a representative at 1-877-223-3344 or by email at OptionsFirst@scottrade.com.

Investors should consider the investment objectives, charges, expense, and unique risk profile of an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) carefully before investing. Leveraged and Inverse ETFs may not be suitable for all investors and may increase exposure to volatility through the use of leverage, short sales of securities, derivatives and other complex investment strategies. These funds' performance will likely be significantly different than their benchmark over periods of more than one day, and their performance over time may in fact trend opposite of their benchmark. Investors should monitor these holdings, consistent with their strategies, as frequently as daily. A prospectus contains this and other information about the ETF and should be obtained from the issuer. The prospectus should be read carefully before investing.
NYSE OpenBook, a new tool giving you full access to the New York Stock Exchange's order book showing all trades placed on NYSE-issued securities, will be available later this month on ScottradeELITE. OpenBook will act as a companion to NASDAQ's TotalView, which provides the same level of detail for NASDAQ-issued securities. When you activate one of the order books in your account for $15 or 15 commissionable trades per month, you'll receive access to the other order book automatically. Track the market with OpenBook and TotalView.
OptionsFirst Volatility Charts allow traders to compare a stock's current implied volatility levels with past levels to identify whether volatility is relatively high or low. Volatility charts are under the Tools tab in OptionsFirst. Enter the stock you wish to analyze, and the tool compares levels of implied volatility to actual historical volatility up to a year in the past. In addition, the tool can also compare implied volatility of puts to calls to identify market demand.

The put-call ratio is a simple ratio that tracks the volume of traded puts to calls in an attempt to gauge market sentiment. A higher ratio of puts indicates a bearish mentality, while a higher call ratio indicates bullish mentality. Compare the current put-call ratio to its historical level to get a long-term picture of any biases in the options market.
To find the put-call ratio in OptionsFirst, view a symbol under the Research Tab, click View More in the Technical Analysis section, and look under Key Option Statistics in the top right of the screen.
