When in Paris, do as Parisians do

Step across the threshold of this authentic mansion for a trip back in time: its art collection brings you back to the atmosphere of the 19th century romantics. After, take off for a romantic hand-in-hand stroll along the adjacent flower gardens.

The plant-lines 'Coulée Verte', situated on the site of a disused railway line, brings to you a 5 km walk from the Opéra Bastille straight to the edge of the Bois de Vincennes. For a real Parisian experience, pack a picnic basket and plan an afternoon in this beautiful forest. There are even boats available for rent!

Towards the end of the Coulée Verte, climb down from the viaduct for a visit to the Aligre Market, in the 12th district. It's delights will wet the appetite! Don't forget to look round the second'hand boutique next to the market.

The sand-covered banks of the Seine are quite romantic.. but also the favorite place for 'boules' players to enjoy a real French game of pétanque! Gather your friends, grab your picnic basket and let yourself be guided by the fanatical Parisians on the Quai de Seine and the Quai de la Loire.
