Ode to the 'Vine

What a perfect way to spend my day,
but to share my thoughts with you today.
I love the vine, and all who share it
and hope to meet you all within it.

Your thoughts are important and divine.
When I move to open Newsvine, I hope to learn of something new
and to share my thoughts with each of you.

You are my friends, my compatriots,
even those I disagree within it.
I hope that we can find a place
where in the end we see face to face.

I want to see you all do well
and even hope we all will gel.
To each of you, I wish true peace
and our opposition comes to see

A place of home we call our own
and never allow others alone
And how we each are ourselves
and never our souls will we sell.

I love you all, you are my friends
and our triumph, it depends
on how hard you make the sale
and refuse your hearts to ever bail.

I hope you all will come to see
the vine is here cause of you and me.
And in my heart I know it's true,
We would not be here were it not for you.
