An intensely descriptive headline here, as Nintendo today announced the dating of its latest from the Poke-series: October 7.

Launching alongside Pokemon Black & White Version 2 will be Pokemon Dream Radar.  The app will be available in the eShop for the 3DS on the same day.

Pokémon Dream Radar has players using the 3DS' camera, motion control and augmented-reality tech to catch Pokémon, including some hard-to-get Pokemon.

You'll do so by searching your surroundings to discover hidden Pokémon and blasting them.

Specifically, players will catch the Pokémon, "by moving the Nintendo 3DS to aim and shoot beams at them.  Caught Pokémon from Pokémon Dream Radar can be transferred into Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, helping players build their roster of Pokémon," so said a May Nintendo press release.

We'll get into Pokemon Black & White Version 2's sales successes in Japan a little later this morning.
