XCOM: Enemy Unknown's Jake Solomon Tries to Sell a Few Copies of His Game

Written by: Danny Gallagher | October 03, 2012 at 7:17PM

XCOM: Enemy Unknown doesn't hit stores for almost another week but that didn't stop its lead developer from getting out and pressing the flesh to sell a few extra copies on his own.

Firaxis' Jake Solomon went to a video game store in Maryland with an armful of XCOM: Enemy Unknown copies and tried to convince some customers to take home a copy of the game.

Future salesmen of the world should pay close attention to Solomon's sales techniques. He's witty, affable and urbane and even though we're not sure if he actually convinced any customers to pay for a copy, we're sure they'll be thinking about his pitch when they see it in stores on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

You can watch Solomon's time in the game store's "Shark Tank" below in the embedded YouTube video.
