Need for Speed Banned Ad Starring Soccer Great David Villa Hits the Web

Apparently, going all Street Fighter II on a police car, even if it's for a laugh, is frowned upon in Spain's media landscape.

FC Barcelona striker David Villa starred in an ad for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit two years ago that his team didn't want on the air. This week, the fans got to judge for themselves after it found its way to the web.

The ad features Villa driving through downtown Hollywood in a Porsche when he spots a parked LAPD squad car. For some reason, he decides to smash it up real good by kicking a soccer ball into it over and over again.

Barcelona objected to the ad because they thought it was inappropriate for their newest star to star in as it set a bad example for their fans. You can see it below in the embedded YouTube video and make up your own mind.
