"Go Daddy customer service has outdone itself again, so I am filing this complaint. Customer testimonials speak louder than ANY advertisement and louder than CEO and Founder Bob Parsons (if that’s possible). Some disgruntled customers/clients drop everything, file complaints or chew the pants and ears off of supervisors. Most of us never take the time to give praise when given excellent service. I am one of the few. I want to thank Go Daddy and my rep, Duane Chapman, for his assistance – and to file this complaint. In this down economy, companies often give less, want more and take more than they give. Duane evaluated all my company Web sites and products, and arranged packages that would custom-fit my needs and get me the most bang for my buck. Duane also showed me how I had previously purchased items I didn’t need or use; gave me money back; and let me reapply the money toward practical applications I needed. DID I MENTION HE GAVE ME MONEY BACK? It’s a pleasure to deal with reps who are professional, know their stuff and know how to explain it all. I have come to realize this is the norm within the company. No wonder Go Daddy is #1. A guy could get used to Bob. So my complaint is that the service is too good and the bar has been raised too high. Now I expect this from all my other vendors, NOT. Seriously, thanks for the assistance and service. To Duane and the rest of the Go Daddy team, keep up the good work and file my complaint accordingly. While they did respond, it often took days and often caused me to send another email because I didn't understand what was being communicated. As a result, it took days into weeks to build a single page! When I detailed my frustrations in my newsletter to family and friends, a former business associate responded with "You should try Go Daddy" and detailed how pleased he was with its service and performance. So, I signed on and, after my experience, I can echo his. Go Daddy's telephone support staff have been professional and thorough in helping this "old dawg" learn some new tricks. They've also been patient in their understanding that I'm not at the high level of computer knowledge, as, well, that of my grandchildren.
