For the first video in the MEET THE MAKERBOT OPERATORS series, I talked with the brilliant Brooklyn teacher and NYC Resistor member Liz Arum about the students working with “Lola,” the MakerBot her school purchased for class and student use at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn. I originally planned to profile her -- how she incorporates “Lola” into her coursework -- but she redirected me to two of her high school students Nick (then a senior) and Winter (then a freshmen) who are not only the key students working with Lola at St Ann’s, but who also have contributed objects and derivatives to Thingiverse.com that are actively being printed by operators across the world.
