Tyler Hanson and his larger than life alter ego Carol Ann McCracken, struggle with new-found success hosting a do-it-yourself television show. The problem is, his producers are convinced that the only way to “Heat up Kitchens Across America” is to keep the D.I.Y. goddess tap dancing around an absurd series of on-set catastrophes. As tempers blow up and audiences explode, Carol Ann keeps a cool head with a sharp tongue. But Tyler is finding out the hard way that renovating your life can be a real drag.
