Danielle Luft is a model. Jonathan Leder is a photographer. A few years back, Jonathan was given the assignment to photograph Danielle. Shortly after they got married and gave birth to a son, Jack, and a magazine, Jacques. Jacques is nothing short of spectacular. It’s a nudie magazine that hearkens back to the days when Playboy was good. Really good. It’s not pornography either, it’s much more tasteful than that. The art direction pulls from the back issues of Oui and obscure art magazines like Wet and Avant Garde. The women are real and the awful world of retouching has thankfully been left aside.
