    • Locali (Los Angeles, CA)

One thing about LA - you can't escape the sun. Everywhere you look people are tanning, swimming, and running. So, a mobile ice cream vendor is often the perfect fix to beat the heat. Enter Locali, a bicycle powered ice pop shop that focuses on serving local, organic, and sustainable ice cream products all over Los Angeles. We caught up with them in Los Feliz and had a blast driving around, capturing footage of the bike in motion and chilling out on frozen treats. Learn more at localiyours.com

    • Bet's Fish Fry (Boothbay, ME)

One of my favorite shoots to date was this one, at Bet's Fish Fry in Boothbay Harbor. This hardly talked about street food delight is owned and operated by one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Besides being loved by the locals, Bet dishes out some mean fried haddock and fries. Next summer be sure to plan a road trip around Bet's Fish Fry.

    • Aybla Grill (Portland, OR)

Some of the most refreshing flavors are those from the Mediterranean, so our visit to Aybla was the perfect thing after our long drive from Seattle, WA. Located on SW 9th and Alder, Aybla Grill delivers homestyle cooking from the Greek isles at affordable prices!

    • Skinny Pancake (Burlington, VT)

Right in downtown Burlington sits The Skinny Pancake, a mobile creperie focusing on seasonal, organic ingredients. Started by a few friends, The Skinny Pancake quickly grew into a popular destination for all. In fact, it became so popular they were able to open up a brick and mortar restaurant nearby. While there I feasted on there locavor, fall harvest, and lemon sugar crepes. Learn more about them online at SkinnyPancake.com

In this episode of VendrTV we checked out San Francisco's own RoliRoti, a mobile artisan rotisserie that serves roasted chickens and porchetta at Farmer's Markets throughout the city. Before heading to the market, I met with owner Thomas Odermatt at the RoliRoti commissary where he taught me to prepare his signature porchetta. Learn more about RoliRoti online at roliroti.com

    • Whiffies Pies (Portland, OR)

One of my favorite late night spots in Portland, OR is Whiffies. A mobile fried pie spot in the SE 12th and Hawthorne food cart pod. The owner, Gregg Abbott, dishes out flakey sweet and savory pies with flavors ranging from cherry cobbler to pulled pork. Each pie is hand made that day and fried fresh to order. Amazing! Follow them on twitter: @whiffies or read more about them on Food Carts Portland.

    • Haven Brothers Diner (Providence, RI)

Arguably one of Providence’s most noted (and mobile) landmarks is The Haven Brother’s Diner. For over one hundred years this flatbed grounded mobile eatery has trucked into the city and parked at it’s grandfathered location (right next to City Hall) where it dishes out burger, fries, and other greasy spoon classics.I stopped by and met with Ivan Giusti, who’s family owns and operates the third generation of this gem. Finally it was time to feast! To me, nothing sounded better than The Murder B...

    • Wafels & Dinges (New York, NY)

One of my favorite trucks in all of New York City is Wafels & Dinges, a little bit of Belgium that trolls through the streets of the Big Apple dishing out authentic waffles from two cities in Belgium. In this episode, Thomas DeGeest teaches me a bit about this history of the waffle, as well as it’s city of origin.

    • Taco Crawl w/ Dylan Ho (Los Angeles, CA)

One evening I met up with my buddy Dylan Ho of Eat Drink 'n Be Merry in Los Angeles for a delicious taco crawl. We visited three of his favorite taco tables, and feasted on everything from lengua tacos to squash blossom quesadillas. My personal favorite was the cabeza, which is made of the cows cheek muscle. Tender, juicy, and super flavorful!

    • Potato Champion (Portland, OR)

The Potato Champion makes one of THE BEST Poutine platters I’ve ever had! What’s Poutine you might ask? It’s a huge plate of Belgian frites, topped with cheddar cheese curds, and drenched in brown gravy! Delicious in that guilty “There go my arteries” sort of way.Not only did we feast on all of owner Mike McKinnon’s tasty fries, but we had a Poutine eating contest between two girls, one dog, and me. Watch the video to see who won!
