Internship Learning Opportunities

There are hundreds of ways to learn and grow as a branch intern at Scottrade. Our main learning tool is a 20-week Learning Map, developed for interns and updated annually to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the information you learn over the course of your internship.
There are also 11 optional courses you can take once you complete the core track. Topics include: customer service, company culture, Microsoft Outlook, workflow and account funding.

Interns also have their own intranet: Intern Insider. This is where you can read other Scottrade interns’ blog entries, learn valuable tips on how to transition to full-time employment, see the useful Scottrade University courses to take and view potential career paths.

We make learning the stock market fun with our virtual game for interns: Stock, Set, GO! Three six-week virtual stock market simulation competitions are held throughout the course of the school year.

And, above all, our interns have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive family of associates. Managers and associates take pride in seeing their team members develop and move along the career path.
