Paris is about 3h15 from Geneva by train. French high-speed trains called TGV are, without a doubt, the fastest way to travel between major cities. If you're travelling on Thalys, Eurostar or TGV, you are allowed to two large items each (no more than 33 inches), plus one small item of hand luggage. The train takes you from Geneve Cornavin station to Gare de Lyon station. You can also choose from either one of the bus lines 65, 87, 63, 24, 20 and 91 or several metro lines. Gare the Lyon is conveniently located in the city centre.
