.XXX Pre-Registration Available

Starting today, pre-registration is available for .XXX top-level domain names (TLDs). To pre-register, select the phase for which you qualify, and we'll submit your application when that phase begins. Pre-registration gives you the best possible chance of securing your .xxx domain name (or blocking your domain name from use as a .xxx extension). At this time, pre-registration is available for the following phases:Sunrise AT — From Sept. 7, 2011, at 16:00 UTC to Oct. 28, 2011, at 16:00 UTC, applicants within the sponsored adult entertainment community can apply for .xxx domain names if they have registered trademarks or intellectual property...

Preventing Expiration with Extended Auto-Renew

In the Domain Manager, you can already set your domain names to renew automatically, or you can renew them manually. Now you have a third option: Extended Auto-Renew! Extended Auto-Renew automatically renews domain names each year to maintain the original registration lengths and prevent expiration. For example, if you select a registration length of five years for a domain name with Extended Auto-Renew, we automatically process a renewal each year to keep its expiration date five years in the future.
