Topic: Email

When an email is not able to be sent or delivered, the mail server automatically generates a bounceback message that describes the exchange. This includes the exact reason why the failure occurred. Once you have the bounceback, take a minute to review the message. The first part of the message will look like this:

We're sorry. There's a problem with the e-mail address(es) you're trying to send to. Please verify the address(es) and try again. If you continue to have problems, please contact Customer Support at (480) 624-2500.

Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1) I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.Generally, this means the receiving server is not accepting our connection attempt when we send the email. These errors normally take 3 days to bounce, as we keep trying to connect to the receiving server.Contact the mail provider you are attempting to send to for assistance. They might be able to tell you why their server is refusing the connection.
Child Status 100... The email message could not be delivered because the message is looping. The receiving server is already in the header of the email, indicating the message in an endless loop.Review the emails in question (both sending and receiving) and look for automatic forwarding or auto-reply. If both accounts have auto replies or automatic forwarding this normally causes a loop.
550 5.7.1 SPF unauthorized mail is prohibited. (In reply to DATA command)The domain on the sending email address has an SPF record and the sending email server is not authorized to send email from the domain due to the SPF record in place.Modify the current SPF record to include the server you are trying to send from or remove the SPF record from the domain.
Child status 100...The email message could not be delivered because there are no users here by that name. The email address is not setup in our system.Make sure you entered the correct email address.
Sorry, I couldn't find a mail exchanger or IP Address. The domain doesn't have valid MX Records, an IP Address, or there was an issue when doing the DNS lookup at the time the email was sent.Verify that you are sending to the correct domain. If your DNS isn't valid you will need to fix the DNS issue before you resend the email.
