Overview
The Adobe Online Marketing Suite Web services provide both SOAP and REST interfaces that let you collect data and programmatically administer your Online Marketing Suite environment. For example, the Web services APIs let you:
- Create users, control access and update user information with scripts and tools that you control.
- Enable fast and easy updates of processing rules across multiple report suites.
- Setup new report suites and control the settings of those report suites.
- Enable new variables and the settings for those variables across all report suites at once.
- Import data from off-line or external systems into your SiteCatalyst report suites so you can include it in your reports. For example, you can integrate data from Call Centers, Inventory Management Systems, Web Servers, or desktop applications for a more complete view of your on-line marketing efforts.
- Export data for use in external applications.
Note: The Data Insertion API uses an XML-based scheme that lets you send data and begin testing the system very quickly.
