A minor league baseball team in Alabama hosted its "Millennial Night" on Saturday, and it sparked outrage of some fans who are part of the millennial generation.
Michael Murphy, vice president of fan engagement for the Montgomery Biscuits said on "Fox & Friends" that the night's theme was a success, and the stadium saw a higher attendance than usual.
The promotion featured avocado burgers, craft beer, nap and selfie stations, and "participation ribbons" just for showing up.

Murphy said that the majority of his office staff consists of millennials who wanted to incorporate the designation's stereotypes in a fun way.

Social media promotion of the night sparked outrage, with many saying that the event is condescending toward actual millennials.
In response, the team tweeted that anyone who is offended can visit them "IRL" -- "in real life" -- and that those with valid complaints could snag a free ticket.
Offended? Feel free to fight your battles IRL and visit us at Riverwalk Stadium. Any millennials that actually come by during office hours before next Saturday and submits a valid complaint in person to our "Millennial Night Thinktank" may get a free ticket or two! https://t.co/XUNOz29gkO

Murphy said Sunday that the Biscuits were not promoting the idea of laziness, but instead were working harder and smarter to get people to the ballpark.
He added that minor league games are more than just baseball, and are fun for the whole family.

"Not only do you get to see future stars of Major League Baseball, but that's what we're all about, the fun aspect of it," he said.
