Incredible video caught one good Samaritan this past Tuesday pulling North Texas man out from his crashed pickup truck just before it was consumed by flames. After the rescue, the good Samaritan directed traffic around the accident until help came. What makes the rescue even more astounding is that the good Samaritan, Brad Luddeke, did it all this while wearing a Santa Claus costume on his way to deliver gifts to needy children.

A daredevil photographer went to extraordinary lengths to photograph these rarely seen sharks, which look like they have been etched from stone.

These incredible Greenland sharks can survive for more than 200 years at depths of up to 600 metres under Arctic ice.

Bigger than the notorious great white, they grow to 23-feet long and are so fearsome they have even been known to eat polar bears.

Known for his work with birds and other feathery friends Prof. Yossi Leshem of Tel Aviv University is showing how nature can provide the best medicine — not only for pest problems, but also for diplomacy. For decades, Prof. Leshem has been pioneering environmentally-friendly techniques in pest control, using owls and birds to keep populations of predatory mice at bay in farmer’s fields in Israel.

Over the years, his projects have extended to Europe, North America and more locally in the Middle East. This year, farmers from Jordan and the Palestinian Authority were joined in the project by 50 Israeli-Arab farmers — showing that natural pesticide control is not just good for the environment, it’s good for peace as well. On Monday night, O’Reilly Factor host Bill O’Reilly and Fox News host Megyn Kelly sat down to discuss what really happened at UC Davis on Friday and whether campus police acted appropriately in showering a group of sitting students with pepper spray. Their conclusion? No big deal.

“Pepper spray, that just burns your eyes, right?” O’Reilly asked Kelly.

“Right,” Kelly said. “I mean, its like a derivative of actual pepper. It’s a food product, essentially.”

But that’s precisely why his political personality has resonated with many of his biggest fans.

Adding a reasoned recognition of the frustrations felt by many of the Occupy Wall Street protestors, when many right-of-center pundits and GOP candidates have been dismissive, only gives Wurzelbacher some indie cred; one can’t purely call him a puppet of the right when he is candidly sharing some (not a ton) of good will towards the protest movement.

More and more people are speaking out against bullying, but the practice remains distressingly common in the nation's schools. All too often, gay teens are the victims. The newest example is especially disturbing.

In Chillicothe, Ohio, a 15-year-old gay teen was beaten in a school classroom. The incident was captured on camera, revealing a classroom full of students who did nothing to break up the assault.

The attacking student has received a three-day suspension, but Rebecca Collins, mother of the student who was beaten,  says this isn't enough.

A lot of fantastic media has been created about the "Occupy" movement. I was watching one video in particular and commented to a friend, "Wow, seeing all those super smart hot chicks at the protest makes me want to be there." He replied, "Hmmm... Yeah, let's go with that."

Our original ideas were admittedly sophomoric: Pics of hot chicks being all protesty, videos of hot chicks beating drums in slow-mo, etc. But when we arrived at Zuccotti Park in New York City, it evolved into something more.

According to Wendy Williams and this other lady whose parents must be very proud of her for becoming a "pet fashion stylist," it is very trendy and important to dress your dog up for Halloween because there are a lot of events you both should be attending.

Unfortunately these ladies never learned that dressing your dog up in costume, particularly if that costume is couture, is actually a total nightmare.

Now that Turkey has finally agreed to allow Israeli help for the current tragedy there, it is interesting to see just what the Israelis do for earthquake relief that is different than what other countries do.

The knee-jerk, anti-Muslim theorizing in the immediate aftermath of Friday's terrorist attacks in Norway was not the American media's finest moment.

In fact, it was a moment perfect for mockery, as Stephen Colbert deftly demonstrated on "The Colbert Report" last night. Colbert targeted both the left and the right as he used clips from  MSNBC, Fox News, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and CNN to illustrate his point.
