On June 18, 2013 Scottrade released several new features to enhance your trading experience. To help you become better acquainted with the enhancements, a description of each feature is provided below.
Addition of Analyst Ratings
Analyst Ratings were added to the list of available fields in the Scottrader Quote Grid, Detailed (formerly Full) Quote and My Positions windows. When you choose to view or add Analyst Ratings to any of your windows, you'll get the latest information from S&P Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters and Second Opinion.
How to Use: From your Scottrader Quote Grid, Detailed Quote or My Positions windows, click the rating and the full report will open as a .PDF file.
Full Quote
The Full Quote tool is now known as Detailed Quote and was enhanced. All data fields are organized in an easy-to-use tabbed format and include the following categories: Summary, Financials, Fundamentals and Technicals. You can rename these categories through the configuration window. In addition, several data fields were added to give you more ways to research a trade.
How to Use: To create customized categories to fit your trading preferences, click the Configure icon located in the top left corner of the Detailed Quote window.
You can customize the Detail Quote tool's configurations by adding and removing data fields using the arrows located in the middle of the configuration window.
You can also re-order the data fields by either using the arrows to the right of the configuration window or by dragging and dropping the data fields in place. Please note, in order to drag and drop data fields, “Drag n Drop Ability” must be turned on in the configuration window.
Top Ten
In an effort to maximize your research efficiency, the Scottrader Top Ten window displays your data selections in a tabbed format. A maximum of ten tabs can be stacked in each Top Ten window.
How to Use: NYSE Top % Gainers displays when you open the window. To add another tab, click the plus symbol, “+”, located to the right of the last tab displayed.
You can also choose the data that appears when you open the Top Ten window by setting your default view. Click the Configure icon located in the top left corner of the Top Ten window then make your default view in the configuration window.
Freezing Data Fields
You can freeze columns in your Scottrader Quote Grid window to help you track data. This functionality is similar to that of Microsoft Excel. Freezing columns in your Quote Grid window allows you to read and track the symbol you're researching.
How to Use: Click the Configure icon located in the top left corner of the Quote Grid window.
The first two fields listed in your Quote Grid will be frozen.
To freeze a data field, use the middle arrows followed by the arrows on the right to move a data field to above the Freeze line. To unfreeze a data field, use the arrows on the right to move a data field to below the Freeze line.
Export Data
Your Time & Sales data can be exported to Microsoft Excel, making it easy for you to keep records of historical performances that can be used for future reference.
How to Use: Click the Export icon in the top left corner of the Time & Sales window.

Gain/Loss & Tax Center
A Gain/Loss & Tax Center link can be found in the upper right corner of the My Positions window. This link redirects you to Scottrade.com for more information. This link offers you a quick and convenient way of logging into the Scottrade Trading Website to view your account in more detail.
Cancel All Open Orders
From the Open Orders window, you can cancel all open orders in your queue with one click.
How to Use: Click the Open Orders button from the top of the Quote Grid window. Click the Cancel All Orders button.
