Scottrade now offers free Educational Seminars at participating branches.
Branch seminars are small education events held at the local branch. They are usually held during the week after market hours (although some are during the day). The branch seminars are great because you can learn directly from a live person and have the ability to interact and ask any questions you might have. We have presentations on everything from an Overview of Scottrade and ScottradeELITE to an Introduction to Order Types to Basic and Intermediate Options Trading.
What does this mean? This means that you can go to Scottrade.com, click the Knowledge Center tab at the top of the page, and search for educational events in your area.
We are also listing upcoming User Summits online as well. This is great because you can register for either the Morning or Afternoon session (about the Web site or ELITE) - and you can see all upcoming User Summits (not just the ones in your area). Now, even if you don't receive an e-mail invite to a User Summit, you can still search and register for one that might interest you.
