I do not hate homosexual persons, but I hate of the sexual act that homosexuals perform because I believe that it is morally wrong; in the same way, I do not hate adulterers but hate the act of adultery. I believe that homosexuality is a sin, causes harm to others and society in general, and it causes harm to ones self, body and soul. I understand and agree that homosexuals have the right to practice homosexuality without fear of prejudice and discrimination. I also understand and agree that homosexuals have the right to practice homosexuality in the privacy of their own homes without government interference. I respect that. In turn, I hope that homosexuals will respect my right to protest the cultural acceptance of their behavior. I do not have an issue so mush with the fact that people are practicing homosexuality as much as I have a problem with the global, societal and cultural trend towards the acceptance of homosexual relationships and behavior. I know that I will offend many people with my view on this, but I believe that silence on this issue is a form of acceptance or cowardice. I will never accept homosexual relationships and behavior, no matter what the majority, the government or the world says, because I must obey God rather than man.
