Here's a general 360 question. Do play and charge kit batteries tend only last 6 months before being completely incapable of holding a charge? I was careful to always let the battery drain down until the controller would shut off, then plug it in, but it still seemed to be a pretty poor NiCad rechargable IMO. Has anyone else had a problem with these kits? Should they laster longer than 6 months? Beyond that, the average battery life in a single charge was somewhere around 8 hours... | |

I have had no problem with the charging kits, they're quite usefull, really cut down on battery usage in the house (i mean, seriously, at one point I had used up the batteries in everything from remote controls to my little sister's toys) | |

So yeah, a full three years after it was released on the market I've finally managed to pick up a XBOX360 (Elite). Just a small question, I've heard alot of rumours of overheating. I've taken a precaution and put my console close to a window in my room, but will it stop working if the console gets too cool? Also, whats the RRoD rate for Elite's, if anybody knows? | |

I can't speak for the newer models, but my Elite recently got the RROD because it overheated. I bought it in August of '07. Now my question is for people who have turned their 360s in for repair. I've told myself that I'd have a working 360 back in about 4 weeks. Is that a reasonable estimate? | |
I bought an Elite a couple weeks ago. I haven't used the mic until just a few days ago when I got Gears 2. For some reason I can't hear people talk online. Did I get a broke mic or what is the problem? Can anyone help me...its pissin me off not being able to talk to anyone. | |

Thats unknown at the moment, but I think MS would look into different formats to include with the update. | |
