It's pretty much been two months now I have a question about the headset. I don't really know why I'm posting in the sticky thread, because it takes forever to get an answer but I guess it's useless to make a thread for a question like this.
To the question
If I have my headset on and shit, will I only hear the voices of people IN THE HEADSET? or do I have to have racist screaming kiddies shout out cuss words from the sound of my tv?
There's a option if u want to hear other trough ur mic or TV

my 360 gets the RROD 2 weeks ago, i was so sad! god dammit! but, i fixed it! you want to know how?

i put my 360 wrapped in a towel, then i turn it on and after a few minutes the 360 shuts down, i was like WTF!? i burn my 360!!! but when i take the 360 out and turn it on again.
DiStaNcE: Well it looks like my Xbox 360 Elite took a crash, but not RROD, I got a System Error: E 73.
Here are my questions for all of you.
1. Is there anyway to fix this at home?
2. I still have Warranty on my Elite, but will it cost me money to fix this problem?
3. How long does the REPAIR PROCESS take?
4. Do I keep the HDD, Faceplate, and Cords when I send it off?
1. no it will not cost money since you still have the warranty. 2. once you return it i think you need to give everything but keep your own faceplate that you bought and you can also keep the hardrive so you dont lose your memory. 3. it takes about 2-4 weeks 4. good thing is that you have another 3 years of warranty because once you give it to them to fix it they renew your warranty as an apology

its true that it works but... it is very damaging to your console it would be better to just let microsoft fix it you get your warranty renewed...

yes, the HDMI is better than any cable.

ya I got boned by the warenty too. I got one flashing red light( botttom right corner) and E74 message on the screen and contact customer service... so I did. its not under the 1 year warrenty any more and they would charge me 94 bucks to fix. but it was a 3 lights they would fix it for free, grrrrrrrr
ANYWAY, i am looking for a new 360 and I heard thay the ones coming ou this year will have new chips and new motherboards( I head the name falcon but not sure) is there any way for me to tell these new ones from the old. so I dont just send the money and get an older system. maybe look at the seriel numbers or something.???????

Ok I finally got the cash to buy an XBOX360. Am I making the right desicion though. I have heard about the RROD and I also heard about the new jasper chip which greatly reduces it. I have also heard that the jasper chip is only on the arcade. I really dont want to invest over 300 some dollars on this unless its a sound product, I'm thinking about getting the arcade I just wanna know is the japser thing true? is it only available on the arcade version? And if it is the Pro version worth it or how should I go about it? comment and suggestions please
I have had the xbox since just a month before the elite launched i was pissed if i had know about it i would have waited but that is beside the point i love my xbox it has not failed me yet. also i do not think that people should buy the cooler that made my xbox have power problems but once i got rid of that it worked fine

The messenger chat pad is a godsend for those who are too far away from their xbox to settle for wired keyboards. I had a MS wireless keyboard with a USB dongle for a while but a mate needed it. The chatpad is a little nifty device and is comfortable to type on.
I recommend it for those who like typing messages and using messenger on their xbox
I just installed skate. 2 onto my 360's HDD. I set my 360 to auto launch when a disc is in the tray. Since skate. 2 is going to be in there for a while, will it play with the data from the HDD? Or will it read off of the disc? Lame if second.

PEOPLE, please answer this for me: So I haven't been able to go on Xbox Live for quite some time now because I only have a modem for my PC and don't have the extra modem for my 360 anymore. So unfortunately my 360 doesn't have the update right now (NXE). I really want this update because I wanna install games onto the hard drive and stuff. So I was wondering is there a way to download it on my PC and burn it onto a disc and install it on my 360? I know this might sound stupid, but I was wondering if this was possible since I have done the same thing with original Xbox game backward-compatibility update before. (I downloaded it on my PC and burned it on a disc and installed it.) Edit: I don't wanna spend 100 bucks on a wi-fi adapter.
Hey does anyone know why the hell my Xbox360 wont play my videos from my USB-stick or memory stick or what datatraveller that is...? It just complains about some update that I need to download, so I moved my Xbox to my room where the internet is (I dont have internet connection at my livingroom where I use it) and connected it and it worked. Then I took the Xbox again to livingroom and it just complains about that update, what is wrong ? I've done that thing (moved Xbox to get the internet and back) twice and it wont work, the first time I think it downloaded something, but im not sure what it was. And I remember at summer when I was at my friends house and there wasnt internet connection and it worked fine, but I havent tested that since that and I got RROD a month ago. But I know it should work, so why it isnt? Any ideas ? Please help me...
I love xbox but such a god dam scam. I'm in the process of importing an American arcade console and i know i need a plug adaptor for the US - UK plugs. However the UK standard voltage for electronics is 240v. So does the NTSC-US 360 support 240v, or will i also have to purchase a voltage converter?
does anyone else have a problem with DOOM off XBL Arcade where once you finish an entire episode and the ending story comes up, you press "A" to continue but it just freezes?
