Pier Solar is looking amazing, they have a 16 bit mode for the graphics if people want to go retro too. Awesome.

Wii U "More Than Capable" Of Providing The Core Project CARS Experience, Says Developer
"The Wii U is more than capable of providing the core Project CARS experience. Sure, some super-high-level graphical effects may not be possible but in comparison it also offers a unique interaction experience via the GamePad controller, with the second screen potentially becoming your track map overview, rear-view mirror, telemetry, or simply mimicking a real race car steering wheel whilst you use the gyroscope to drive."
Wow. CastleStorm looks great. Thank you for posting that trailer.
Im looking forward to A Hat in Time and Abe's Odyssey: New'n'Tasty. There is a chance that Dreamfall chapters comes to Wii U, that would be a real winner.
12 minutes of footage for Hyper Light Drifter.
Thanks heaps for that, Hyper Light Drifter looks loooovely

Minecraft on it's way to Wii U
| |
Damn that'll get the kids all over the system.
I love the video of HLD - I backed it pretty early on and was great to see it go so high over its original funding target. Also, I guess yay for minecraft! I've never really played it much, couldn't really get into it, however, that was a long time ago I played it, a lot of stuff has probably been added since. The one thing I find hard to decide between - what platform do I purchase Indie games on when it's on multiple platforms that I own!
Whichever. I mean most of them will play the same way, right? Not sure if the game-pad will provide any benefits but it's always something to consider. I normally buy mine on PC but I think I'll buy a few on Wii U this time around for the remote play. All of my systems are hooked onto one tv so it's handy for me to use my PC and Wii U game-pad to play games.
OH FUCK MINECRAFT!!!!! ugh
Yeah I can get it on whatever platform, I just am torn between buying for each platform. I kind of want to support the wiiu......
that's a rumor. stop misleading everyone.
Well, go for it. | |
You make it sound so easy when in reality it isn't! For starters, anything you buy on WiiU is hardware bound as opposed to account bound (hope to hell Nintendo changes this sometime shortly!) and the prices generally tend to be a tad higher (although, Steam is getting more expensive due to the American $ getting stronger against the Aussie $ again.) Having said those two things though, I do enjoy the off screen play and I hope Nintendo refines their online even more this gen and would be cool to have a good collection of indie games on the WiiU.
I guess I don't think about it that much.
I use to as well.... That was until I bought some land and am gearing up to build a house + get married all within the 1 year.
Minecraft is the first indie game that i thought of when i saw the gamepad. It will be a great experience on it.
I might rebuy Minecraft if it were to come out for the Wii U. Depends on the price. I wouldn't want to pay more than say, 10 for it when I have it on PC.
^ | |
Every time Minecraft comes to a new console its always 20 bucks, its super expensive.
A Hat in Time looks like the offspring of Wind Waker.
Unepic now in the e-Shop First Review:
| |
I can't wait to play UnEpic. Here's hoping that the new Nintendo Direct will bring forth more indie treats. I'm kind of astounded that we haven't heard a peep about How to Survive, it's meant to be out on WiiU very soon.
Indie bundle incoming From now until February 13, anyone that owns Spin The bottle: Bumpie's Party, Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream, Toki Tori 2 or Mighty Switch Force! may purchase any of the other titles for 60 percent off.
| |
eh those other games didn't really excite me...plus i already own switch force, and runner 2
I'd really like Bit. Trip Runner 2 but there's no other game in the offer that I'd like to buy in order to make use of the discount. Possibly Mighty Switch Force since I enjoyed both games on the 3DS eShop. But I don't know how much different it is to those games, might not be worth me buying. I'll sit this one out most likely and replay Unepic.
everybody needs to buy Unepic, us getting the MP mode depends on it
