Tengami (2014) Tengami is a shining example of what a Wii U indie game can truly be like. Set in a 3D Pop-Up Book version of ancient Japan, each landscape in Tengami looks like it belongs on the shelf of Japanese arts and crafts store. Every last piece of the world is a masterfully-crafted work of paper art, art that can be manipulated at our will in order to complete puzzles and get through the game.

Master Reboot in the eShop
Master Reboot takes place inside the Soul Cloud, a virtual world created to upload the memories of a person - essentially their soul - so that after death, they can be visited by relatives and loved ones. After a massive success, something disastrous has destroyed the server, leading to a major crisis that mysteriously leaves you on a beach after a crash in the Soul Cloud. This is where your adventure starts. From the very beginning to the very end, Master Reboot proves it's not like other games. The game doesn't tell its story in any traditional sense, as far as full cutscenes or dialogue boxes. You don't know your name, what you're doing in the Soul Cloud, and potentially whether you're the actual protagonist or antagonist.

Lone Survivor will launch on Wii U before the end of the year, publisher Curve Studios announced in a tweet today. Hooray, another way to lose your sanity while attempting to escape a city overrun with vicious, murderous monsters and disease. Lone Survivor truly is a lovely, incredibly creepy horror game. Curve is also working to bring The Swapper and Stealth Inc. 2 to Wii U this year - and in that same tweet it teased a fourth game headed to Nintendo's newest platform.

i have that game on both Vita and PC...and i still don't play it -_- i really need to tackle my fucking backlog man damn
I was going to buy Lone Survivor the other day on Steam, but I think I'll hold off now and get it on Wii U.
What is that about? I still can't quite figure it out.
I left a link to the Kickstarter (see above) It's basically a metroidvania title with a bizarre, philosophical & artsy-fartsy story. I really think it holds a lot of promise & will be a good choice for Wii U.
Well it certainly looks nice, that's for sure.
Can't believe you changed your name
Haha Ah it needed changing, I think. So Teslagrad will be getting a retail release now. That's pretty strange and cool.
who the fucks wants indie games? u suck nintendo, if it weren't for zelda u'd be dead to me nintentrolls come at me
Nah, Sony is like the king of indies now. Youve been through enough and its going to get worse.

I hope the Shadowgate remake comes to the WiiU. Looks amazing.
Where the hell is Shovel Knight for Europe?
^ They're working on translation now. They posted a screenshot of the French translation on Twitter. Can I post this here since the 3DS section is... sort of barren? This is RenegadeKid's newest 3DS title XeoDrifter

I bought Abyss for the bargain price of 44p as a special offer. Got 75% off cos I'd already bought Unepic (which is great btw). The game is fantastic. You control a submarine with a light on the end and have to negotiate underwater caverns to collect balls of energy and find the exit. You control movement with the left analog stick and a thrust button which has the light as the point of thrust which is at the top of the sub. So pressing thrust when you first start moves your ship upwards, and your ship automatically goes right side up. When you hit a wall your ship flashes red for a second or two, if you hit a wall a second time when red you destroy your ship. It takes a bit of skill to control, and gives you plenty of "RIGHT!!! Just ONE more go!!!" moments. Great value even at its full price of £1.79. Most of the work has been done by 3 blokes too.
Abyss is a really great game, I had my reservations but I would have been a fool to ignore the 44p price tag. It's an intense experience & you really feel yourself improving with each attempt. I found myself getting frustrated & excited in a matter of seconds, even if you only play it for 10 minutes, the experience offered is still better than most AAA big budget games.
