Final Fantasy Invades Skyrim In New Mod

There are plenty of Skyrim mods, of course, ranging from turning Alduin into Fluttershy to bringing Morrowind into Skyrim to forging lightsabers.

This one, however, is a little bit of a mind-bender in terms of continuity.

Yes, that is Lightning of Final Fantasy XIII fame modded into Skyrim. Unfortunately, there isn't much detail beyond the fact that this is a "recent" mod and so far, there are only two screens available. Here's the other:

Nonetheless, it does show off the dedication of some fans to the franchise, and the power and flexibility of Bethesda's game.

Our Take: Really, why should this stop with a character mod? You know what Skyrim needs? The Active Battle System. Maybe some Limit Breaks. It definitely needs more Chocobos, possibly as enemies. Get cracking, mod community.

We're joking, of course, but considering the thread of one-upsmanship that runs through mod communities, expect a fully playable Final Fantasy inside Skyrim sooner rather than later.
