Geo-Money uses the SiteCatalyst API to combine Commerce with GeoSegmentation. This Flash interactive heat-map visualization shows valuable metrics including Revenue, Orders, Conversion Rates, and Average Orders. State by state you can see the effectiveness of your sales at a glance. Features include: - dynamic date range selection - metric color mapping - summary and calculated data Extensibility This concept could easily be extended to show Geo heat-maps of any metric available in SiteCatalyst. Guys, I tried using the link, unfortunately it's not working. This is a great idea - in the past we've had to export data an import into a mapping app to achieve this. I guess the question is - when can we expect to see this functionality in the regular user interface? Is that on the roadmap? Cheers, J
J Thanks for your feedback. We think the visualization is useful and conveys a lot of information very quickly. Not sure what the status of something like this making it into the regular user interface is. We have updated the server that the demo is posted on, now it should be accessible to anyone.
