Search form comes up as an image

Q: After customizing the template in Adobe Photoshop and saving it for the web, the search form comes up as an image, not as an HTML form.

A: While saving your PSD file for the web you must change the “File Type” option to “Images only” and “Slices” option to “Selected Slices”. Other options may damage the original HTML structure. Make changes to the elements that you can’t change in HTML only, e.g. Headers, Company name, etc. you don’t need to change regular text which is editable in HTML editor. Do not select slice which contains Search Form while saving for web!
