Company Background
Accretive Health, Inc. (Accretive) is a provider of services that help healthcare providers generate improvements in their operating margins and healthcare quality while also improving patient, physician and staff satisfaction. Its core service offering helps the United States healthcare providers to manage their revenue cycles, which encompass patient registration, insurance and benefit verification, medical treatment documentation and coding, bill preparation and collections. At December 31, 2010, Accretive provided its revenue cycle service offering to 26 customers representing 66 hospitals, as well as physician billing organizations associated with several of these customers. At December 31, 2010, it provided its quality and total cost of care solution to one customer representing seven hospitals and 42 clinics. The Company's integrated revenue cycle technology and services offering spans the entire revenue cycle.
