Oceaneering will provide project management, engineering, and vessel services offshore Angola on Blocks 18 and 31, commencing February 1, 2012. The contract provides for two option periods of one year each, exercisable by BP.

BP operates its products in more than 80 countries, providing its customers with fuel for transportation, energy for heat and light, retail services and petrochemicals products. The Company operates two segments: Exploration and Production and Refining and Marketing. Exploration and Production's activities include oil and natural gas exploration, field development and production; midstream transportation, storage and processing; and the marketing and trading of natural gas, including liquefied natural gas, together with power and natural gas liquids. Refining and Marketing's activities include the supply and trading, refining, manufacturing, marketing and transportation of crude oil, petroleum and petrochemicals products and related services. In April 2011, BP acquired 83% of Companhia Nacional de Acucar e Alcool. During the year ended December 31, 2010, BP acquired Verenium's lignocellulosic biofuels business.
