I was with GT for a good 9 or so years. Would like to say thanks to the whole entire GT crew past and present for the great 9 years i got from the site. Sad to see it go as i loved watching GT Time and and you guys on twitch. But seeing above about the ps3 bought back the time i was still watching the stuff but the constant bashing of the ps3 and the sabotage that went in to making the 360 look better then the ps3 in every way,But live and forget. At the end of the day the crew i loved the best was this one now (included before Elise left)
So to Brad, Ben, Blood, Huber, Don, Kyle, Ian and Mr Jones, i bid you what i hope a short farwell hopefully you all find someone to take you all under the wing to start up a new site/twitch/youtube so we can all see the fun you guys have together.
Sadly missed but never ever forgotten!

Well, come home from vacation and I get this bomb of a news. Really difficult to go through again with another site I spent a lot of time with after my first ever forum I joined died a few years ago, Anime Academy, and I met a lot of swell folks here that I wish we could've spent more time with.

I heard about the news of GT's closing and had to log in and post something. I have a lot of memories of this place and of many of you guys. In all honesty, despite some of the chaos and words, I had a fantastic time here. You guys were the ones who encouraged my niece and I to make videos together (5yr old reviews and my own WTF: Games You've Never Played), and I am super happy and still proud of all the effort and assistance I received for the GAMETRAILERS: THE GAME.

I know I've created lots of silly and wacky threads in the past (underline idiotic as well :3) but in all honesty, I had a fantastic time with everyone.

Huge shoutout to my friends I've made here. Lux, Luna, Mag0x1 (I think that's how his SN was :D), Sheria, Zulu, Squirrel, Sora, Cybersix, Robbi, Just10xx, and even LordWindowLicker despite all the chaos that went on between us - if it wasn't for his invite to the OmniGamers, I wouldn't have met some of the closest friends I've ever had.

There are so many more to mention but alas, tis hard to remember all those names. So if I missed you, I apologize but you guys all kick ass.

Thanks so much for the laughs, the drama, the memories, and just everything.

Well, this truly is some sad news. This place really has been a little home away from home for me for a long time now.

I just want to say thank you to all the people I met here on GT over the last decade. A big thank you to the old Omnigamers and all of its members. Lordwindowlicker, Zulux, Greg, Jak, Mazer, Whitelight etc, those times really meant a lot to me.

A shout out to some other members as well: Adventurer (I know we have had ups and downs but I still have a plethora of fond memories), Cweeny, Talax, Narros, Kudan, Longview ... I just know there are many, many more. Of course, I must also say ta ta to Deisel (Black-Cell), such a crazy but ultimately funny guy; the back and forth was fun, if not sometimes a tad aggravating.

I personally can't see myself moving on, i've been on and off about dropping forums for a few years now and this seems like a good time. But thank you to GT and its Staff for keeping this place going for as long as you have, it shows some real dedication.

I was only here a month but man I gotta say, I really like this place and I'm in tears a bit to see it go.
