I remember an old Youtube video that I can't find now, it showed some of GTs failures like talking big about why Uncharted 2 got a lower score because it was a repeat of the earlier game and that no game like that would get a score higher than that, and then they gave the latest CoD (MW2?) a much higher score because it was like the earlier games. | |

Yeah! I remember that video, where they were saying the PS3 is twice as powerful as a PC, which costs like $5000 to make. And Pachter says he doesn't like RTS games because they're turn based(?????). And grenade physics that will make you smile. | |
I tried to sign back here in my old account, redblack, but I forgot the password. haha I used to stop by gametrailers all the time about 10 years ago for...well game trailers, before youtube and other sites took up my team. I really missed going to the sub forums, such as for comics and anime and I loved how this site let normal members submit videos. It really sucks that GT is shutting down. I wish I stopped by again sooner. | |

Good old memories when my video was featured on GT users section.
I think the downfall started with the website change, and the removal of features such as factions, latest forum posts, user movie features, and a few others. All in all it was fun and GT will be missed. Still remember coming here in 05 when I was in my last year of high school. Good bye and thank you Gametrailers!

Man this is so sad. I haven't been here for a while but after I heard the news I had to log back in. I remember trying to do everything I could to buy a PS3 with the GT currency and I loved reading the funny threads that would come out of General Discussion. The users were great, the videos GT pushed out were great (Pop fiction was a Gem) and 'This game sucks xbox rulez' with over 11k dislikes was some hilarious shit. I'll miss you GT. | |

I was never a fan of forums, and my posting history is non-existant. This is my second account, created only weeks prior to these heartbreaking news. I may have reached a total of 100 post in my previous account, but I am not sure. I just had to comment in order to pay my respects to this AMAZING experience that has been Gametralers. I loved many of your content, from simple reviews to originals such as the Timeline ones. I remember laughing with you in your streams and muting when you would scream at E3 and other great revealing moments (everyone saw the FF7 Remake and Shenmue jaw dropping momments). I have said too much, but you deserve this and more. As you have said, you launched this era of information through video, and or, entertainment, and for that, I am grateful!
