Changing Your Account Password Online
From within your account, click on the My Account tab to begin changing your password. Next, click on the My Information & Preferences link down the left hand side.
Setting Account Preferences
The Site Preference page allows you to learn more about upgrading your account for margin or option trading.
Changing Your Contact Information
The primary address on your account is a valid e-mail address that was set to the address you provided when you applied for your Scottrade account.
Account Linking

Linking accounts allows the primary authorized account holder access and trading capabilities in secondary accounts.
Naming Your Account
Naming your account allows you to choose a display name for your primary account and any linked account you may have already set up.
