Rainy River Resources Ltd. is an exploration-stage company. The Company is primarily engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral property interests. The Company's principal focus is its Rainy River property, located 65 kilometers west of Fort Frances in the southwest corner of northern Ontario (the Rainy River Gold Project, or RRGP). As of December 31, 2011, the Company wholly owned the Mud Creek Property in Minnesota and had an option to earn a 51% interest in Ti-pa-haa-kaaning/Big Dam property in northwestern Ontario (the TPK Property) in northern Ontario from Northern Superior. The TPK Property is located approximately 470 kilometers northeast of Thunder Bay and 190 kilometers northeast of Pickle Lake in northwestern Ontario. As of December 31, 2011, diamond drilling totaled 1,279 holes for a combined (Nuinsco / Rainy River Resources) 578,261 meters of drilling on the Rainy River Gold Project. 608457 B.C. Ltd. is the Company's wholly owned subsidiary.
