Welcome refreshment
TGV Lyria welcomes you to First class with a refreshment brought to your seat. The staff on-board offer you a complimentary non-alcoholic cold drink to get your journey off to a pleasant start.
Daily press
A wide selection of Swiss, French and international magazines and newspapers are at your disposal (in at least 3 languages). A veritable on board news-stand!
Individual electrical sockets:
To make your life easier, 220 volt electrical sockets* are provided in First class for connecting laptops or recharging a mobile phone.
* Not available on certain trains between Paris and Geneva
Your choice of seat in First class
Enjoy optimum comfort with reclining seats complete with head rests, fold-down table, foot rest and personal reading lamp.
You can select your seat on the TGV Lyria:
- Solo: separate seat by the window
- Duo face to face: 2 separate seats face to face
- Duo side by side: 2 seats side by side
- Club Quatre: 4 seats face to face (available for 3 or 4 people)
- Square: 4 face to face seats (available for 3 or 4 people)
For each seat, choose window or aisle location.
For info: the types of seats that you can request (square, window, aisle, duo, compartment, "sit near seat 15 in coach 8") depend on:
- the TGV,
- the class (more comfort options in First Class),
- the number of seats available on the train when booking is made,
- the number of passengers.
Journeys on TGV Duplex
On the Geneva-Paris connection, certain TGV's are double deckers: the TGV Duplex. If your selected journey is in a TGV Duplex, you can choose to be seated on the 'upper deck' or the 'lower deck'.
