Disabled travellers or people with reduced mobility: TGV Lyria has thought of you

On board the TGV Lyria, as in stations, disabled travellers or people with reduced mobility enjoy services designed for them: access to disabled toilets or 'transfer chairs', and free travel for accompanying guide dogs.

TGV Lyria makes every effort to facilitate travel for the disabled and people with reduced mobility. Because your journey should also be a relaxing experience.

Dedicated areas

On the TGV Lyria, when departing from French and Swiss stations, enjoy specially-designed areas for disabled travellers or people with reduced mobility.

A First class seat is reserved for wheelchair users in coaches 1 or 11. Nearby, toilets are specially adapted and accessible for disabled travellers.

Please note: seats reserved for wheelchair users can not be booked on en.voyages-sncf.com.

Traveller seat and 'transfer chair'

If you can sit in a train seat you may book a standard seat.

To comply with safety regulations, your wheelchair must be folded and stowed away. It must not obstruct the passageways. Contact the help service at the stations on your journey to book assistance.

If you wish to move around on board, for example, to go the toilet, a 'transfer chair' is available. Simply ask the ticket inspector.
