To punch your tickets if travelling in France
Punching your travel tickets is mandatory for all journeys between two French destinations.
In France, please retain your TGV Lyria ticket until leaving your station of arrival.
Travelling to or from Switzerland (departures from Geneva included), punching tickets is not required.
Carry documents proving your discount entitlement
If you benefit from a discount, don't forget to carry your documents justifying this reduction.
If you forget these documents, you will be asked to pay the difference in price for the standard fare by the Train Manager. This sum can be reimbursed (subject to a fee of €10) by showing proof of discount.
Take advantage of the waiting room at Zurich
If you board the train in Zurich central station, you can take advantage of a pleasant waiting room by simply presenting your TGV Lyria ticket with that day's date.
