Well The debt ceiling deal is now done it seems, so what did both sides get? They each gained a slightly new political position and we on the vine will get the prognostications on who won and lost. Yeah yeah, the American people lost but tell me something that never happened before. Well let me get my duo copper coins in order here and give you my observations.

The major need of the White House was to get the debt ceiling raised for the moment, that has been done. To do that the President had to make some hard choices, he did that. Those choices have made and some or many of his supporters are angry with him. That was going to happen so he is not really losing something that would have happened anyway. The political compromises that he signed onto are mostly for the next 10 years. They are really promises for the future. Funny thing about the future is no one person can predict what will happen or what the economy will look like, conjecture is about the best you can offer here.

Now some of us were mad about the President and the Bush tax cuts, I was too, but let's look at this from a purely political standpoint, Obama took that ammunition out of the gun of his political adversaries. He also made these tax cuts ammunition for the left because those tax cuts have done nothing to help prove the promises being made by those Bush tax cuts supporters. He just did the same thing with the debt ceiling and cost cutting. He has taken another political bullet out of the gun of his political adversaries. The gun of the right has fewer and fewer talking point bullets to use in the next race. Hell yeah it's all about the next big election, did you just wake up from a good patriotic dream or something!

Now the tea people and their supporters will crow and dance that they made this President and the other members of Congress do what they wanted and what they say the American people wanted. I'll agree in principle to the former but will hold off laughing at the latter argument. yeah, the Neo Abbie Hoffmans of the right have made enough noise and arguments to keep this hot and heavy in the news, and I guess if you look at it with a sense of political clarity it had to be done.

 But here is the big enchalada of strategy, the tea people no longer have this to play with now. What else do they have in their gun to keep winning each battle in the bigger war of words? There in lies the deal with my article. They think like Abbie Hoffman when it comes to political strategy while the President is using the principles first written by Sun Tzu in his great strategic tretise, The Art of War. They play for the moment while the President plays with a different purpose, who will hold the high ground will be different later on. It is a gamble for the President of course but it is a good gamble compared to the other sides gamble. In the end, political optimism is a much better political tool than the constant drone of political negativism. Winning a battle now may not win the later war, compromising in the battle may seem like weakeness but that is what you want your political adversaries to believe so they make a big mistake later when you have overwhealming forces and go for the bigger war win.

Each side got something here with mainly the compromising of the President and a little movement from the Congressional leaders of the House and Senate. It would seem for the moment that the President's political standing has been weakened and the tea peoples have been strengthened. It also seems during an eclipse that the sun will never return. LOL

The other issue is that the President has really gained more political capital later on, while the tea people may have unloaded their gun on one battle. Think about this for a little bit and you may understand what I mean. Later on, the president can argue that he compromised. If the economy gets better, he wins for compromiseing his principles to get the job done. Of course the tea people get to win for holding onto their priciples, if it gets worse he and the tea people will get blamed together. here is where it gets' kind of weird in the straegy battle, the little unkowns that can upset all plans, it will be our perceptions that end up making us vote a certain way. In the nd it will be our perceptions that sway us in our vote for the next President.

In the end we must look at the President and those alternative candidates who are running against him. Evetually there will be only Obama and that one other candidate. Who holds that high ground then will be the ultimate position in the next battle. You will all decide the outcome fo that battle!

Looking at this battle as a war win is not very smart. Setting your troops up for the next battle that may be more about winning than compromising is where the true leaders place their thoughts on. A current win means having to also have the future charted out to some extent. Part of each future political battle will hinge on how well or how anemic the economy is later on and into next year. But each next skirmish either wears down an army of makes it stronger. hhere is how the war is one, with each battle there are a set number of things you can do. How the next few months play out will be the new skirmishes to watch, this battle is now over for each side.

The President is banking on a positive change while the other side is banking on more negative things happening to keep them winning each new battle. This is the 'great unknown" factor.

Here in lies the essence of what just went on, who is thinking long term and who is thinking short term and who now will have real ammunition later on and who will just have an empty political gun?

Now you all may prognosticate with intelligent observation or paid for political rhetoric.

Are you a strategic thinker or are you just a hired political gun who tries to make the Pentagon float away (read the history of the Yippies and Alan Ginsberg to understand that reference.)

Since the US Congress reached an agreement on the debt ceiling that saves the nation from defaulting before the world, it is natural to guestimate the long term paradigm shift coming out of this national crisis debate.

My guess is The Tea Party Movement (Ku Klux Klan) lost it significant leverage on the Republican Party leadership by their vote recalcitrance that piqued the national ire by their forcing the nation to the brink of a full-blown Great Depression II. As a senior citizen, I believe it was disgraceful for the Tea Party Movement (KKK) Republican rightwing zealots to have senior citizens and soldiers worrying about receiving their August benefits.   

The Tea Party Movement (KKK) people must have forgotten that senior citizens vote. People vote on three things – their pocketbook, pocketbook, and pocketbook meaning that we must vote against those folks who want to rob the middle class and poor and give tax breaks to the wealthy.   Also people will come out to vote against you if you pique their ire, so Tea Party Movement (KKK) tomfoolery is enough to demand that senior citizens purge these rightwing zealots out of the US Congress.

I guess the Tea Party Movement’s worse nightmare has come true with Rupert Murdoch and his family being disgraced before the world, so Fox Media’s ability to unleash a battery of spin doctors to whitewash Tea Party (KKK) political antics in hopes of making the nation genuflect will not happen. Fox must be devising public relations strategies to recover some of their credibility that will no doubt deteriorate further as the British have another go round with the Murdoch family over things that appear to be contradictory.

Now it becomes a waiting game to see how long it takes before the Murdoch family is defrocked in the news media business both in the United States of America and the United Kingdom of England.  

I see in this country what we are needing are true doer. What we have are a bunch of watcher and money collectors. I feel like we all have been put in a corner and made to watch while our tax monies are wasted and our rights are taken. Most people first thing the y say are what rights have been taken. If you have to be told of what rights are being slowly taken from you then maybe you really don't know your right after all.

We vote for people we think are going to be doers ,people who will fight for our rights and freedoms and we find all they do is sit on the side and watch and then do nothing but line their own pockets. We live in the greats countries in the world , but the way the thing are going and the way our government has been running it for years we will end up as a third world country.

We must start to put together a third party of doers and if they do not do the job let it be in the parties article that we may fire them. Right now the clowns we put in to be doers are watchers and there is nothing we can do but watch them take apart this great country of ours. We are the laughing point of all other great nations. Our jobs given away by our government by making it easy for companies to go outside the United States and charging nothing for the goods to come back in . We owe more to countries we rebuild and they never paid us back. The Chinese we are giving our work to are giving it to Vietnam who killed our soldiers during the War.

Still most American would rather sit and watch instead of doing something about it. This is the state of a country full of watchers not doers.

3.) Big Government = Socialism or Healthcare = Socialism or Helping the Poor = Socialism or Liberal/Democrat = Socialist and of course our favorite is last and that is Evil = Socialism.

Socialism- defined

Summary:

1. Socialism is an economic system based on the principle of equality while capitalism is an economic and political system based on the principle of individual rights.
2. In socialism, wealth or the goods and services are equitably shared by all members of society based on the individual’s productive efforts while in capitalism, each individual works for his own wealth.
3. Socialists believe that the work ethics of an individual will increase if he receives the goods and services he needs when he works for everyone else while capitalists believe that it is man’s nature of being competitive that will drive him to work more for more wealth.

Big Government = Socialism

Nope ,  Big government doesn't have one thing to do with socialism, regulation is what they are talking about. When they start using their secret code words this should be a sign to all they are full of it. Big Government equals regulation and while regulation does exist in socialism it is in no way the first economic system set up with it in place, nope, regulation has been around for a looong time because business just like people need police to make them play nice too, common sense. The will of the people requires regulation, not a hidden socialist agenda, amazing how they scare the sheep and every time they run..... 

Healthcare = Socialism

In a socialistic medical system, the government would nationalize the entire industry. All hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities would be owned by the government. Also, all the employees (including the doctors) would be government employees.

The health care law signed by President Obama  preserves the current system we have of private sector medical care. It reins in insurance companies from abusive practices, and expands coverage to the poor and near poor. It requires that everyone have health insurance, but provides subsidies so that people can afford it.

Kansas law, for instance, requires all drivers to have liability insurance on their vehicles. If someone crashes into your car, it is not fair if they don't have insurance, because you will be forced to pay for their mistake.

Likewise, those who can afford health insurance and choose not to buy it jeopardize all of us when, say, they have a heart attack. When that person runs up a $50,000 medical bill without insurance, we all pay through higher premiums and taxes. So this bill forces everyone to chip in to spread the risk, just like mandated automobile liability insurance.

The word "Communism" doesn't have any credibility anymore now that the Cold War is over. But the word "Socialism" still scares people very much. Obama's health care plan is not Socialism, because Socialism is when the government owns and controls the hospitals and hires the doctors and nurses. Obama's plan keeps our current private sector system, but makes it more accessible.

Helping the Poor = Socialism

Governments have done this since Rome, the Soviets sucked at taking care of their citizens as do many dominantly socialistic nations (as in complete ,total, i.e. China, Cuba, N.korea etc.) . So why is it the right consistently uses this as fodder for their cannons and everyone always falls for it lol. Helping the poor is about compassion and ethics, not socialism vs. Capitalism

Liberal/Democrat = Socialist

this one get's me lol, most dems and liberals are far from being socialist , we just see value in some socialistic policies, that's a big difference. I can hate ford and be a chevy man all day long, but it still doesn't have to stop me from admiring a nice mustang when I see one. Or better yet, just because I agree with a republican it doesn't make me a republican, we just agreed on that issue. Same here, that's why it's insulting because most use the term and statement and don't really have a clue what socialism really is, and no sane rational person would want a totally socialistic country, they don't work. 

Evil = Socialism.

it's not , it's a form of economic governance that runs contrary to capitalism. Capitalism deifies greed, and we see good in it still. Cut through the propaganda you have been spoon fed all your lives and see socialism in the same light

This is what I feel like doing every time I listen to Cspan and the other political channels. I really do not know how these people who of course we elected can stand there and not laugh at the crap flowing out of their mouths. Unless you live in a cave you know they are lying every time they speak. They talk of helping the economy but they give the tax breaks to the companies who are moving labor overseas. They give monies to people from foreign counties to go to school and open business before they will a U S citizen and then give them a tax abatement to boot.

Now you tell me where in all this are they helping us ? The President who is by all means one of the great's book smart presidents we have ever had can not pick good help. Even his great ally ran to take a job as a mayor what does that tell you. The medical Bill, which in truth if was done correctly with doctor and people of compassion was needed, was done by business men who were not looking to keeping us health but more to getting back the money already spend (stolen) by the government by making sure 90 percent of the people who will be getting social security and Medicaid never make it that far. The government will truly show how to be a beast of brutality.

It is so sad it has to make you laugh. I use to laugh at the countries that let 2 percent of the population run them and brutalize them saying how can you let that happen. Guess was we are letting it happen. Until we take back what is ours you just have to laugh or you will cry maybe even kill yourself for being so stupid as we all are for trusting the people we have elected. Once they are in we no longer have control. Wake up we must take back what is ours we must have control of the government our forefather made for the people.

This morning, when discussing the House Republicans affiliated with the Tea Party movement and commenting on Senator John McCain’s floor speech where he chided these same Republicans as hobbits who think they are on a quest in the Lord of the Rings, the professional commentators on MSNBC’s Morning Joe said that the Tea Party members were “crazy” and “irrational.”  Examine the record.

During the Bush presidency,  the President racked up the debt and the Republicans and Democrats in Congress went along happily.  President Bush passed a prescription drug benefit that was not paid for.  His administration funded the nation’s two wars with supplemental funds.  Few today can tell us if these funds are real and count towards the debt.  I suppose if they did, the debt would be even higher than it is today.  Finally, in the throes of the 2008 financial crisis, President Bush passed the troubled asset relief program (TARP) and established a reckless precedent for bail-outs.

As President Obama entered the Oval Office, the nation’s finances were perilous.  Historic budget surpluses had vanished and the economy was shocked and uncertain.  Following in President Bush’s footsteps, he too failed to “fund” the wars and just changed the “defense emergency relief funds” (DERF) supplementals into “overseas contingency operations” (OCO) supplementals.  The Republicans and Democrats in Congress went along happily.  More bail-outs followed for AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, GM, and Chrysler.  Then he charted a new course with hundreds of billions in new spending for rural internet connections, shovel-ready infrastructure projects, and job training, all in the name of boosting the economy, and all unpaid for.  While the Senate did not pass a budget that first year, it did pass a new healthcare law that both raided Medicare and also was unpaid for.  The President signed it and a strange thing happened when the members of Congress went home: they were confronted by crazy, irrational hobbits who yelled at them in town halls, and the Tea Party movement was born.

In the November election, a number of incumbents were thrown out of Congress and the fiscally-minded Tea Party members were thrust onto the national stage.  The hobbits had been charged with their quest.  Meanwhile, the establishment in Washington had clearly heard the message, and in the waning hours of the lame duck session of Congress, the Republicans and the Democrats passed an extension to the “Bush-era” tax cuts (for the wealthy), and President Obama signed it, adding another $800 billion to the debt. 

In 2011 every lost soul with a cause -- immigration reform, legalized drugs, libertarianism, anti-Federal Reserve, and other fringe groups -- either attempted to join the Tea Party movement or were unfairly associated with it to demonize the fiscal threat it represented to the tax, borrow, borrow again, and spend establishment in Washington.  Never mind that serious fiscal problems remained.

The President delivered his budget to Congress and projected more than a trillion dollars in borrowed spending.  The House attempted to pass a similar bill and then a funny thing happened.  The hobbits told newly-elected Speaker of the House John Boehner that they were not going to pay for the second, extraneous fighter jet engine that too many viewed as pork spending.  Next the continuing resolution for the federal government came onto the floor.  A continuing resolution is the duct tape Congress applies to the budget when there is no budget.  Speaker Boehner barely held his caucus together as he and Senator Harry Reid struck the first “grand compromise” of $300 billion in spending cuts that, when scored by the independent Congressional Budget Office, really only turned out to be 30 billion in cuts.  Two points for the establishment!  Fuming, the hobbits vowed to not be fooled again.  Recognizing a political opportunity, Speaker Boehner turned over the House budget to Representative Paul Ryan who designed and passed a budget with actual, though controversial, numbers.  The Senate did not pass it; nor could it pass its own budget. 

When it came time to pass the debt ceiling that would free the US government to go borrow more money and drive up the debt even further, the hobbits put on their magic ring, drew their elf sword and said, “No.”  They would not pass the increase in the budget ceiling until someone passed a plan that would begin to seriously tackle the nation’s 14 trillion dollar debt and its one trillion dollar annual deficits.  The White House and Treasury Department immediately threatened that such an irrational act would bring about financial Armageddon, which would happen around May or June; wait, make it August 2^nd.  Then the House and Senate went to work producing one gimmicky plan after another, and spent more time on coming up with cute names to call their opponent’s plan: the Republicans “cut, cap, and balance” plan became “duck, dodge, and dismantle.” Republicans countered with their own retort of “beg, borrow, and steal.”  It is a wonder neither decided to charge the other with "fiscal terrorism."

In the meantime, across the Atlantic, the European Union got a first-hand glimpse of what sovereign debt insolvency might look like in quaint, little, back-water economies like Iceland, Greece, Ireland, and Spain.  How could the creditors of these tranquil places like Greece suddenly become so unforgiving, charging high interest rates and demanding harsh austerity measures before additional loans could be granted?  It all seemed so, irrational.  Insolvency; it is a tricky thing.  Is borrowing 60% of your income insolvency?  70%?  120%?  You never know you are insolvent until, one day, unexpectedly, the bank finally says, “No.”

No one in our government is talking about insolvency.  They talk about financial Armageddon and the unfairness of people not paying a fair share.  They do not want to talk about the long-term situation, only the crazy, “here and now,” scare tactics they need to bully the American people into two horrible “solutions”: the Boehner plan and the Reid plan.  Both plans, if passed, will add more than 8 trillion dollars to the debt over the next decade, taking us ever closer to, what was that word, oh yes, insolvency.

Those who are calling the hobbits irrational and crazy are just as deluded.  They promise a path to prosperity, and what they do not admit is they really only want a road to reelection.  They just want the debt passed one more time; everyone else has done it, they say like an addict.  In their irrationality, they fail to see that they are really on a road to perdition with a detour to insolvency.

Prediction:the Reid plan and the Boehner plan will both fail.  The House will pass a $50 billion debt ceiling increase and go into recess, saving the long-term fight for September.  The Senate and President will have to go along.  It is the only irrational thing to do.

Below is the text of House Speaker John Boehner's address to the nation 7/25/2011

            My personal rebuttal is included in the body of this text:

Good evening. I'm John Boehner. I serve as Speaker of the whole House -- of the members of both parties that you elect. These are difficult times in the life of our nation. Millions are looking for work, have been for some time, and the spending binge going on in Washington is a big part of the reason why.

            Another big part of the reason is Congress has yet to author job creation legislation of any kind, preferring to concentrate attempts at repealing the Affordable Care Act and defunding Planned Parenthood and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting instead.

Before I served in Congress, I ran a small business in Ohio. I was amazed at how different Washington DC operated than every business in America.

            Washington DC operates by a different strategy. You know that. If you don’t understand that concept it is time to get a job somewhere else because America has no use for you.

Where most American business make the hard choices to pay their bills and live within their means, in Washington more spending and more debt is business as usual. I've got news for Washington - those days are over. President Obama came to Congress in January and requested business as usual -- yet another routine increase in the national debt limit -- we in the House said 'not so fast.'         

            Saying the President requested this increase is an outright lie. Let’s also understand that back in January you wanted a debt ceiling increase as well. You should know full well that it is the responsibility of Congress to make sure the nations obligations are met. You need this increase to do your job. To place the blame for this at the feet of a president who largely inherited the problem is a lie.

 Here was the president, asking for the largest debt increase in American history, on the heels of the largest spending binge in American history.

            This spending binge is largely the work of the previous administration. This debt increase is necessary to cover expenditures that are already in place not to cover additional spending as the GOP/TEA would like Americans to believe.

Here's what we got for that spending binge: a massive health care bill that most Americans never asked for.

            The American public has needed and been asking for health care reform for decades. President Obama was the first to have the opportunity to make something happen. This health care reform is widely regarded as a money saving venture over the long term.

A 'stimulus' bill that was more effective in producing material for late-night comedians than it was in producing jobs.

            The stimulus bill was intended prevent the U.S. from falling further into an economic depression. It was never intended to pull us out of the recession. The stimulus bill did what it was intended to do but the GOP/TEA would not want Americans to know that.

And a national debt that has gotten so out of hand it has sparked a crisis without precedent in my lifetime or yours.

            There is nothing extraordinary about the debt in its current state. It needs to be addressed but not by holding the majority of Americans hostage so the GOP/Tea can press their shock doctrine.  

The United States cannot default on its debt obligations. The jobs and savings of too many Americans are at stake.

What we told the president in January was this: the American people will not accept an increase in the debt limit without significant spending cuts and reforms.

            I honestly believe you have no clue what the American people will or will not accept because you haven’t been listening to the American people, preferring instead to push your party ideology instead of working to meet the needs of your constituency.

And over the last six months, we've done our best to convince the president to partner with us to do something dramatic to change the fiscal trajectory of our country. . .something that will boost confidence in our economy, renew a measure of faith in our government, and help small businesses get back on track.

Last week, the House passed such a plan, and with bipartisan support.

            When five Democrats vote in support of the Cut, Cap, and Balance bill and nine Republicans vote against the bill, that is hardly a definition of “bipartisan support”.

It's called the 'Cut, Cap, and Balance' Act. It CUTS and CAPS government spending and paves the way for a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution, which we believe is the best way to stop Washington from spending money it doesn't have.

            How do you explain two unfunded wars and a prescription drug benefit that essentially allowed drug companies to rape Medicare? Rather than correct mistakes of the past you prefer to attack the most vulnerable among us, the elderly, poor, and others who are in the least advantageous position to carry this legislation.

 Before we even passed the bill in the House, the President said he would veto it.

I want you to know I made a sincere effort to work with the president to identify a path forward that would implement the principles of Cut, Cap, & Balance in a manner that could secure bipartisan support and be signed into law. I gave it my all.

            Most Americans believe your idea of a path forward is everyone agreeing to give you everything you want without any compromise on your part. If you gave it your all, your all isn’t very much.

Unfortunately, the president would not take yes for an answer. Even when we thought we might be close on an agreement, the president's demands changed.

The president has often said we need a 'balanced' approach -- which in Washington means: we spend more. . .you pay more.

            Define the “you” in “you pay more” I think we all have a pretty good idea of who is paying more and who is paying less or not at all. That’s a big reason why we are in the situation we are in. President Obama has in fact offered up trillions of dollars in spending cuts. An offer you and your cronies have walked out on because you refuse to compromise on tax reform.

Having run a small business, I know those tax increases will destroy jobs.

            Tax increases, especially on the mega-rich have never proven to reduce jobs and tax cuts have never proven to create jobs. In fact, quite the opposite appears to be the truth. It’s time to quit the “job killing” and “job destroying” quips, nobody believes it.

The president is adamant that we cannot make fundamental changes to our entitlement programs.            

             The President has made it known that entitlement reform is on the table as long as long as tax reform is on the table as well.

As the father of two daughters, I know these programs won't be there for them and their kids unless significant action is taken now.

The sad truth is that the president wanted a blank check six months ago, and he wants a blank check today. That is just not going to happen.

            Please! The President never asked for a blank check. He’s just as concerned with deficits and spending as anybody. This is nothing more than weak posturing and falsehood.

You see, there is no stalemate in Congress. The House has passed a bill to raise the debt limit with bipartisan support. And this week, while the Senate is struggling to pass a bill filled with phony accounting and Washington gimmicks, we will pass another bill - one that was developed with the support of the bipartisan leadership of the U.S. Senate.

Obviously, I expect that bill can and will pass the Senate, and be sent to the President for his signature. If the President signs it, the 'crisis' atmosphere he has created will simply disappear. The debt limit will be raised. Spending will be cut by more than one trillion dollars, and a serious, bipartisan committee of the Congress will begin the hard but necessary work of dealing with the tough challenges our nation faces.

The individuals doing this work will not be outsiders, but elected representatives of the people, doing the job they were elected to do as outlined in the Constitution. Those decisions should be made based on how they will affect people who are struggling to get a job, not how they affect some politician's chances of getting reelected.

            This bill is just more of the same. It calls for a temporary debt ceiling increase that will make it necessary to revisit this fight in less than a year. It also demands nearly two trillion dollars in entitlement spending cuts while protecting tax incentives for the most wealthy. This plan looks like nothing more than a strategy to hold America hostage again over the debt ceiling. Only the next time this debate comes up it will be an election year.

This debate isn't about President Obama and House Republicans ... it isn't about Congress and the White House ... it's about what's standing between the American people and the future we seek for ourselves and our families.

You know, I've always believed, the bigger government, the smaller the people. And right now, we have a government so big and so expensive it's sapping the drive of our people and keeping our economy from running at full capacity.

The solution to this crisis is not complicated: if you're spending more money than you're taking in, you need to spend less of it,

There is no symptom of big government more menacing than our debt. Break its grip, and we begin to liberate our economy and our future.

We are up to the task, and I hope President Obama will join us in this work.

            Raising the debt ceiling is a fairly benign process. It has been done many times in the past. We have seen times of prosperity and recession without any real direct link to raising or lowering the debt ceiling. The fact is deficit reduction is important and needs the attention of individuals who are highly qualified to address it. The issues of the debt ceiling and deficit reduction are separate and need to stay that way. It’s time to raise the ceiling and then tackle the other important problems facing this nation. Quit using the debt ceiling and deficit reduction as weapons to force your party ideology on Americans who no longer have the energy or patience to deal with you.

From time to time I have seen Bryan Fishcer's name and his words pop up. He and the American Family Association have made it known that they are angry with many isues in the political arena and he is the loudest and most perverse voice today when it comes to issues like gay marriage, sex and the destruction of the family and of course our current president. So I thought I would do a little in depth looking at this person and his words are important for us all to look at.

here are just some of the things Fischer has claimed to support with his brand of Muscular Christianty:

America must "stop the practice of allowing Muslims to serve in the Military" This was his argument after the Fort Hood shootings.

Fischer believes that the first amendment only applies to Christain Americans and not to any other practitioners of religoin such as Islam and Judaism "Muslims cannot claim religious freedom under the First Amendment". He has always weighed in on the building mosques in our country "Permits, in my judgment, should not be granted to build even one more mosque in the United States of America, this is for one simple reason; each Islamic Mosque is dedicated to the overthrow of the American Government".

He has also stated that we cannot have anymore Muslims immigrating to the US and that Muslims suffer from inbreeding that has affected their "sanity and intelligence".

Fischers believes that 50% of Hispanic pregnancies are "illegitimate".

He also believes that government welfare encourges African Americans to "rut like rabbits".

On the issue of gay Americans, Fischer is the most hateful. He and the AFA believe that one third of child abuse sex cases are caused by homosexuals. Fischer believes that homosexuality should be equated with pedophilia, same sex couples are a real danger to children, gays couples do not live as long as hetrosexual couples and that they are more promiscuous, having between 300 and 1000 sex partners in thier lifetimes. He also says homosexual couples are more prone to domestic abuse and violence. He has suggested that hate crime legislation protects pedophiles and that any form of non hetrosexual sex should be made illegal with state and national laws.

His take on the rise of Hitler and the Nazi's claims that it is all based on homosexuality, "homosexuality gave us Hitler, and homosexuals in the military gave us Brown Shirts, the Nazi War machine and 6 million dead Jews". This take of his is based on one book written by a German Historian.

He has weighed in on the Medal of Honor, claiming it is being "feminized". Staff Sgt Salvatore Giunta was awarded the Medal of Honor for saving the lives of his squad in Afghanistan, during the attack Giunta did kill one of the attackers in the ambush of his squad. Fischer complained in his November 2010 blog that the Medal of Honor was being "feminized" because it was awarded to Giunta for saving the lives of his fellow soldiers instead of for killing the enemy, here is his words on this, "so the question is this: When are we going to start awarding the Medal of Honor once again for soldiers who kill people and break things so our families can sleep at night?" Fischer also wrote "The God of the Bible clearly honors those who use valor and gallentry in waging aggresive war in a just cause against the enemies of freedom, even while inflicting massive casualties in the process, what I'm saying is that it's time we started imitating God's example again". he has also stated that "Christianity is not a religion of pacifism".

In November 2010, Fischer commented about a grizzley bear attack that " it's a choice between grizzley bears and humans, the grizzlies have to go". he also expressed the notion that communites that suffer these attacks on people and livestock are "under a curse".

Fischer has stated that when Michelle Obama invited the rapper Common to the White House that it showed that the President "nurtures this hatred of the United States of America, and I believe, nurtures a hatred of the white man".

His recent rants about native Americans and others has made the AFA take down his original work and to re-write them. It seems even his own organization is now worried about his angry and ugly voice.

Many of his guests are GOP presidential candidates and conservative politicians such as Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Haley Barbour and Mike Huckabee.

I do believe that Bryan Fischer does not represent the greater Christian Community or the bulkof  conservatives. I do also think he is a part of the biggest problem on how Christians and conseravtives are perceived by other Americans.

 I feel that Bryan Fischer must be dis-owned by the greater community of Christians and should also be shunned by the conservative community.

As they say "if you lie down with dogs, you get fleas". Do any of you like the fleas you are now being made to wear by Bryan Fischer?

I have never made any bones about where I stand, I am a member of the Democratic party, a left of center Democratic member. A few times I have voted straight party, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagen and the second term of GWB were instrumental in my pulling that one party ticket. But for the most part I look at the candidate and make choices based on my best assumption, yep my assumptions. I have made a few bad choices and others I was very happy that I voted for them.

Right now I see no good reason to split my votes between the two parties and I'll tell you why. Those most vocal GOP members have made me suspect of every political member in the party right now. I have watched as the reactionary social conservative wing has made it harder and harder for anyone in the party to have a moderating influence in th GOP.

The Rino desig nation is really funny because that has weakened the party over time in my estimation. Some social conservative politicians have even made the argument that being a social conservative also makes them a fiscal conservative, not in my estimation. The two are not the same. Of course they can be both but not for the same reason as this fake argument trys to make.

Some fiscal conservatives have made the argument that lowering taxes always helps the economy and creates jobs. Well if you look at our history, we have lowered and lowered taxes for many years, sometimes the economy grew and others times it did not grow and fell flat on its face. I think the argument is weak because our economic history proves that is not always the case.

The constant refrain that all taxes are always evil is just plain silly and I will not agree to listen to such simplistic notions. Grover Norquist and his simple minded followers have never done anything to help or make our country strong or prosperous, Grover Norquist and his followers do not speak for many but they do get a lot more power because some will just go along with what ever they say.

As long as people continue to create a smaller and smaller GOP based on less and less differences, I will not vote for any republican for a long time. You may think "good, we don't need your vote Vlad's Dog" and I will say history proves you wrong on this simple notion.

Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain are the two most devisive candidates that would not bring our country together and would weaken our society and create more havoc as soon as they got into the White House.

Rick Santourum is from my state and I know enough about this boy to say "NO WAY BABY"!

Newt is just a 'has been' and should have left poltics a while ago.

Tim Pawlenty is just pandering too much to ever get me to look at him and I really dislike his use of  his religion for votes to ever even let him have my vote. I also think he is the weakest of the bunch for many other reasons.

The three candidates I would look at, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Jim Huntsman will not even win the GOP primaries so I won't waste my time looking at them.

Rick Perry, ya just got to be kiddin' me there GOP voters. GWB ruined it for Texan candidates for a while and Rick is just another loud mouth who spouts nonsense much of the time. I hate fake cowboy politicians!

Nope, some of you guys have helped paint your party into a corner right now. You may think creating only a  strict conservative party is good, but it ain't good political thinking and that is a big part of the political process folks. Ya gotta think smart to get your people elected. And right now all I see is supporting ideology over smart political thinking.

Sorry, just my take on things right now and I have been watching politics since Eisenhower.

If you want a government that works then you better tell your party members to work for something rather than against everything. You are now the Party of NO for a very good reason, that's all folks hear from your party and NO is always negative. Many of us will vote no for this party as long as you continue to play that game. Noone wins when it is a constant negative game, no points are ever gained when you never move the ball on the field.

It is us folks who are right of center and left of center that do usually sway the elections, you may not like that but history is my proof.

Oh yeah, the pox on both parties crowd don't sway me much because it is the only game in town folks. You either play the game or sit on the side lines and I aint' sittin' out the game.

Oh yeah, if you don't like any candidate you can always write in Vlad's Dog, I'm running on the "This Dog does Hunts" ticket. LOL

With the recent fight over the debt ceiling I have come to the conclusion that some folks just don't get what politics is all about. having principles, party platforms and ideology is just a part of the process but it is not the whole process of politics, business or even everyday life. Those who don't understand that the process encompasses compromise are acting like spoiled children who believe that gaining anything means hunkering down and that just not moving forward is better than gaining just a little through the art of the compromise.

Even Early American religious leaders learned this valuable lesson. At first, The New England Puritans hung Quakers for their different religious beliefs. during our fight for independence if they had kept that same attitude we would not have the freedom of religion that we all now support and try to uphold. William Penn understood this and created a colony and later the great state of Pennsylvainia based on the need to compromise their beliefs in order to create a colony where all believers could live in peace and harmony. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvaina is a great lesson in religious compromise. Every one of our ancestors who came to Pennsylvainia knew they could come here and practice their specific faith knowing they would not have to bow to the state or one specific religious organization.

If you read the beginning of our history and even the debate about independence, creating the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, you see that our Founding Fathers had strong principles, a basic ideology and specific platforms that they debated and fought for and fought over. The one thing that seems to be forgotten by many is that those strong willed leaders also understood the need to compromise in order to get something done for the betterment of all, not just for their specific ideas and ideals. If they had not compromised we would not be here right now, we would not have the freedoms, the rights and the power to move forward like they did.

Those politicians who do not or will not compromise believe that it is better to do nothing than to just gain something from compromising. That is the thinking of an unthinking cement block on the ocean shore line, the cement block would rather try and resist the actions of the ocean that would eventually wear the block down to a pebble. Of course the wearing down action would take a long time but eventually that worn down pebble would lose any power that it had as a larger cement block.

Of course there are some of those politicians that think that compromising is bad for their re-election and will do anything to stop the poltical process from moving forward. if it is all about their next election then they are not working for the best interests of the country as a whole. We do not need anymore self-serving, simplistic and reactionary politics or polticians, we need men and woman who do have strong principles but who are also rational and intelligent enough to learn when to compromise.

Rational thinking means understanding when to stand firm and when to compromise. Acting like you will never back down, even when the problems will not get fixed is just plain stupid and creates more havoc. A government or country that is divided on pratisan principles is a nation that cannot stand firm and stay strong when outside forces come calling.

Compromise is not a dirty word, but there are many ideologues outside of each party that would rather have a party that never compromises, that my friends is not rational or smart. That is the thinking of an ignorant cement block.

We do not need any more cement blocks in government, we do not need cement blocks to gain and keep power. They would wear down our country and it would in the end create a tiny and powerless pebble that would protect none of us in the future.

As individuals, we learn the valuable lesson of compromise as we grow and age. We compromise at work, in our family decisions and even when we play. If we did not compromise when we needed to, we would not survive for very long and we would create a world of self-destruction that would not help anyone tied to us. Principles are good to have but just adhering to principles does not pay the bills or make us prosperous, cement block principles destroy our lives and weaken any real principles we do have.

Support rational government not reactionary polticians! We do not have a cement block of state, we have a ship of state that moves with the currents and the times.

Throughout our history we have been down some really bumpy roads and some really dark roads. During those hard times it took strong, courageous and positive leadership to help get us all working together towards the betterment of America. Those leaders that helped get us back on the right path were leaders who created a positive message during the worst of times. They set the tone for us all and gave us the faith and inspiration to get up, dust ourselves off and make the hard choices so that we worked together.

During both world wars, it was the positive leaders who helped us conquer our fears of an unknown future. We overcame these fears and worked with those leaders to win two world wars. With the support of positive leaders we gained strength of will and purpose during the some of the darkest times in recent world history. Winston Churchill, FDR and General Eisenhower were strong and postive leaders who helped bring us together to defeat fascisim. They kept their fears hidden in order to breed a positive message and outlook which helped all of us to work harder for a postive outcome.

Some GOP presidential candidates are fixated on using a continuois negative message on many political subjects. Michele Bachman is the worst of these nattering naibobs of negativity. She wants us to believe that America is going to Hell in a handbasket unless we give her the reins of power to fix everything. This is not a very good sign of leadership in my opinion. Sure we all can see the negative, we all can bitch and moan about everything under the sun, the issue is that we don't need leaders to do this for us. We see the problems, we don't need leaders who just point out what we already know and can see.

Real leadership means rising above the negative and giving everyone a shining example of the positive. Leadership means bringing us together and making us all see the problems and helping us to find real solutions. Browbeating the electorate, the constant complaining about small groups that have very little political power and just dividing society into partisan camps is not a sign of a good leader. It is a sign of a manipulator, a sign of a tyrant and a sign of a politician who wants to control the weak willed. Our leaders do need to point out the problems but they also need to accentuate the positive message and to put forth solutions that we can all talk about and debate.

Now I am not saying that negativity does not have its place in the debate, what I am saying is the constant negative messages will not help us in the long run.

Michele has tried to portray herself as a strong leader with all these negative campaign messages. Her campaign comes out everyday with new and more negative messages that are used to gain the votes of the most negative members of our society. I don't know about any of you but I will not let the negative camp have power over me. Their negative messages will not bear healthy fruit or a better solution.

Solutions are positive, the message of hate, anger and just plain belly aching is not a solution. In fact, negative messages are a big part of all of our problems today. We have very few so called leaders who will stand up and deal with the problems. We have many so called leaders who stomp and scream, fume and fuss, much like children who don't get everything they want and decide to make a lot of noise. We don't help these childish leaders or ourselves by giving them anything, especially our votes. By supporting this nattering negative group we end up exacerbating all of our problems and solve nothing.

Negativity breeds contempt, contempt divides us from one another and divison of society is not the way to creat solutions to our problems.

Do we really want to go down that road and give a person or a group of people the reins of power when they run a campaign that has no real positive messages?

America, do you really want leaders like Michele Bachman who are not strong and positive models of good leadership, do we really want angry complainers to lead us or do we want strong positive leadership?

 It is up to each voter to look for the leadership that can help us and lead us away from this belly-acher mentality.

Michele Bachmann is not the kind of leader we need now or ever! We are all better than the nattering nature of Negative Nancy and the angry mob mentality that she continues to breed.

Hers was the voice of a revolution. Released from prison last week, the 20-year-old poet Ayat al-Gormezi, a symbol of resistance for pro-democracy protesters, claims she was tortured in prison by a female member of Bahrain’s royal family. In an interview with i, MsGormezi said she was beaten with a baton by a woman whom prison guards identified as a member of the ruling al-Khalifa family.

She said while her interrogators had tried to blindfold her, she was able to see “a woman of about 40 in civilian clothes who was beating me on the head with a baton”. Ms Gormezi later described her interrogator to guards, who, she said, promptly named the woman as being one of the al-Khalifas with a senior position in the Bahraini security service. Ms Gormezi added: “I was taken many times to her office for fresh beatings. She would say: ‘You should be proud of the al-Khalifas. They are not going to leave this country. It is their country’.”

 Mans a predator. he's a hunter by instinct and by natures design.

All folks don't become civilized at once. there are some that lag behind in becoming civilized. Some of us have to protect the rest from those that are not civilized yet or unwilling to change, from those that never evolved past the hunting and hording stage of mental and emotional development.

When a man comes at you with a gun, a knife, a shady contract or public policies that are in the interest of the few or the one, at the expense of the many...you don't have time to convince them they are acting uncivilized, and they are not likely to listen. That's when you yourself must become uncivilized in a hurry or die.

No person wants to revert to primitive man but in defense of family, self or community there is a need to react viciously. This is the nature of conflict and ...revolution; and the potential for violent reaction that is growing in this country against the few dominating the many for their own self interests.

When a man sets out to rob, loot, cheat, rape, kill, manipulate or control for their own self interests they are striking a blow not only to their target but to all that mankind has done to rise up from savagery.

it seems that man learned to become what we call civilized in stages and every human being retraces that pattern during their lifetime.

There is a time when children like to play defensive, safety and protective games, a time when they like to build play houses and forts even if it is only a blanket pulled over a couple of chairs to crawl under.

There is a time when they like to play hide and seek games and dominance games such as king of the hill or make bows, arrows and guns dodging around and hunting each other.

There's a time they like to play games of chance and skill and learn what the rules are, also what it means to cheat and to play unfairly and to take advantage.

After a while, they grow beyond that stage, or most of them do...

Some folks just lag behind. They never grow beyond that hunting, hiding, gathering, hording and cheating stage, they become thieves and robbers, Criminals, Corrupt Politicians, Emotionally Bankrupt Businessmen, Plutocrats, Oligarchs, Corporatists, and Dominionists; and they have convinced themselves they should rule us all and view everyone else as less important, their lessers or slaves. You see, all of these arrested developmentally challenged individuals has one thing in common with your garden variety Psychopath.  THEY HAVE A DELUSIONAL SENSE OF SELF ENTITLMENT!  They believe they can do whatever they desire without consequence and that civilized man will just cower in the corner, as they do whatever they please. Well, as most bullies learn the hard way, even the most mild and meek individual once they have had enough abuse can turn around and kill you...some of you better learn these lessons fast, before it is too late for this country to survive in tact. The lesson of both the bully and the lesson of the meek...

I for one refuse to be ruled by a Plutocracy, an Oligarchy, a Corptocracy, or Religious Dominionists.

It is time "the Many" told that to "the Few" once again. And repeat it every year until they are either extinct or changed.

Only a few years ago a young man could go to war, and if he did enough looting, captured enough horses, men, women, arms or wealth he could come home a rich man and powerful in their community. Most of those who originally had titles had them because they were especially good at killing, capturing and looting; and were given title for doing it in support of their king and country.

Well we have outgrown that. Or some of us have. the others are still lingering back there in the hunting, gathering, looting, hording, cheating and raiding stage, and if you meet one of them alone in the dark, or in a business or political setting you better remember he is not a human being but, a primitive, a savage, a wild animal, and will act like one.

I call on all of you, If you want to be civilized and live in a civil and just society, you will have to fight to protect civilization for ALL humanity, gay or straight, white, black. brown, red or yellow, religious or non religious, rich or poor, the sane and the insane... or all civilization may collapse. Civilization and evolution of the species will be dead and we will be back in the dark ages with lords to rule over us, while we sit praying to a burning piece of wood and searching for our next meal from whatever we can catch and kill.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in regards to Individual Mandate:

In some current active threads on the Internet, people are still spewing out conservative talking points or as I like to call it...blatant bulls**t... about the PPACA and how it got passed.

Here is the fact of the matter on the Individual Mandate Proposal:

HOUSE BILL:

Liberals and Moderates wanted Universal Health Care or Expansion of Medicare...a Public Option... Pelosi and her assistants had to spend months hammering out difficult compromises to satisfy the Liberal, Moderate and Conservative wings of both parties.

The House Bill had the Public Option, and the Individual Mandate was added as an appeasement to Republicans in the House.

The exact same individual mandate proposed in the 90's by Republicans...BOB DOLE, RICHARD LUGAR, CHARLES GRASSLEY, ORIN HATCH, JESSE HELMS and TRENT LOTT. Exactly the same, Word for Word...

Individual Mandate was and is a Republican proposal added on in negotiations for Republican support prior to the bill being sent to the Senate. The legislation was passed 220-215 shortly after House members added an additional provision that prohibits federally subsidized insurance plans from offering abortion services. Only one House Republican, Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao of Louisiana, voted for the bill. Thirty-nine Democrats voted against it.

SENATE BILL:

The Individual Mandate was part of the agreement required for the Republicans to support the Health Care Bill...and still they 99% voted against the updated bill... (Senator George V. Voinovich, Republican of Ohio, was not present and did not vote.) This also was a way for the Republicans to continue to fight the bill, citing it as unConstitutional to force citizens to purchase insurance from a private company...Just as the Democrats cited in the 90's. Which is one of the reasons it did not pass the first time the Republicans attempted passing the Individual Mandate.

In the Senate, only one Republican, Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine, voted for either of two committee bills being merged by Democratic majority leader Harry Reid.

To carry the bill forward, Democrats needed to appease DINO's, Social Conservatives, and the two Independent senators. One point of contention: abortion funding. a final hour agreement was made with some 40 social conservatives to exclude public funding of abortions. The amendment passed, 240 to 197, with 64 Democrats voting with Republicans on the measure. 

The Senate Republicans then Stripped the Public Option out in negotiations prior to the final vote; saying they would "consider" voting for the bill, if it did not contain the Public Option... Harry Reid agreed to the removal of the Public Option to get Health Care passed...but of course, the Republicans reneged and still voted 99% against...

The PPACA passed the Senate on December 24, 2009, by a vote of 60–39 with all Democrats and two Independents voting for, and all Republicans except one voting against. Republican Sen. Jim Bunning of Kentucky was the lone senator to miss voting on the bill. 

The PPACA passed the House of Representatives on March 21, 2010, by a vote of 219–212, with 178 Republicans and 34 Democrats voting against the bill.

President Obama did not Veto the PPACA bill  containing the Individual Mandate but, no Public Option because; even a partial bill gave additional coverage to millions of men, women and children.

Pretty slick on the Republicans part! You have to admire how they keep moving the central goal post further and further to the extreme Right and never capitulate on anything in negotiations...

It is time to stop blaming President Obama for the Republicans duplicity in the Health Care Bill in regards to the Individual Mandate and the Public Option.

If we just have to blame a Democrat rather than the Republicans for the way the bill came out...blame the one in charge...Harry Reid.

We should praise Obama for getting any health care passed, and instead of complaining, help Democratic Moderates and Liberals retake the House and strengthen the Senate, Dump the DINO's! in both the House and Senate and demand Democrats Fix This Bill!

We need to repeal the Individual Mandate and reinstate the Public Option Now!

Addendum:

VA and Florida conservative high courts have already handed down opinions that it is unconstitutional vs the commerce clause and there are currently 10 cases headed to the Supreme Court on this issue...so I would not unequivocally claim individual mandate is constitutional. 

The conservative states are using these decisions currently to not implement the PPACA in their states and holding it hostage until it gets through the "conservative" Supreme Court. Where they are hoping, as was their original intent by adding the individual mandate, the bill is unconstitutional and we will have to start over...a "win" against Obama...or...it is constitutional and they get to bleed the entire populous via private insurance companies...this is a WIN WIN for the Republicans and the private sector...

The mandate as written HAS a financial penalty of pay a tax penalty of the greater of $695 per year up to a maximum of three times that amount ($2085).

I think we have reached a historic moment in presidential politics, discussing, or ranting about another persons sex life now seems to be a relevent issue for one candidate, Michele Bachman.

I really don't understand why a candidate would assume that sex is an issue during this Presidential election cycle.

Why does Michele continue to play the sex card? Michele would have us believe that it is about the sanctity of marriage but gays are not ruining marriage, they would like the opportunity to enjoy the legal aspects of matrimony as well as the personal aspects that go along with joining together with one specific person. If this was about marriage, I would think that Michele and other 'marriage savers' would rant more about adultry which has ruined many, many marriages over the years. But no, it all seems to be about how gays will ruin marriage if they are allowed to marry legally.

Michele and Markus seem to be obsessed with gays and their sex lives. Her recent rants about gays and Satan, and their lives being lives of bondage borders on the writings of the Marquis De Sade. They take goverrment money and work their psuedo psychology and religious dogma into a system that suggests that they can help gays become healthy and happy hetrosexuals. The problem is their is really no fact based science to suggest they are right about this. Seems to me that Michele and Markus could spend more time and all that money helping unhappy hetrosexuals than trying to change gay people into hetrosexuals.

I don't know about you but I never think about another persons sex live. it is not relevent at all to me. I also really don't give a flying fig about what a presidential candidate thinks about when it is about the issue of sex, it is just not relevent when it comes to choosing a president.

So what is really going on here? Is Michele and Markus obsessed with gay sex? Is she using her presidential candidacy to defend her husband and her assumptions that they can change gay people? Is this really what we want a presidential candidate to talk about as they run for the highest office in our nation on?

Isn't if funny how none of these Flea-Party people were around screaming and yelling about the debt, the deficit or the debt-ceiling when Bush and Cheney were running our economy into the ground? How soon we forget. Or is it some strange form of selective outrage or photogenic memory? Maybe all these people just woke up at the same time from self-induced eight-year comas!

In the entirety of the eight miserable Bush years, I don't remember hearing one Republican standing up and saying, "Hey, we need to cut spending!" I don't remember seeing a Flea-Party movement when Bush added Tax Cuts for the Rich and a Medicare Prescription Drug Program, both of which were completely unpaid for! I don't remember hearing anybody yelling and screaming about the deficit. And where were all these angry conservatives, wealthy businessmen and Flea-Party activists when Bush and Cheney lied us into an unnecessary war in Iraq. The Iraq war is going to cost this nation a great deal of precious credibility abroad, the lives and limbs of tens of thousands of American soldiers, untold resources that we needed to fight Al-Qaeda and about $10 Trillion Dollars before it's all said and done. Where were they? I didn't hear a peep out of the "Right-Wing" or the "Flea-Party".

When George W. Bush took office, the national debt was $5.73 trillion. When he left, it was $10.7 trillion. That's a difference of $4.97 trillion. Where were all these screaming deficit-haters from January 20th, 2001 till January 20th, 2009? Hibernating in Alaska?

The U.S. debt has shot up significantly over the past few years, mostly due to the economic meltdown of 2008 and the government's efforts to shore up the federal banking system. You take away the economic disaster created during the Bush years, entirely remove the, unpaid for, Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthy and his, unpaid for, Medicare Prescription Drug Program and give back the $10 Trillion dollars blown on the Iraq war and we would have no deficit problem today.

Don’t blame Obama for bad economy

By far, the Great Recession is the worst I’ve experienced during my 72 years. Particularly sad is the ignorance of the general public about underscored reasons for the problems we face today and the next five to 10 years.

Much cable chatter and clutter commentaries in newspapers pin the blame for high unemployment and lack of progress of any recovery on President Barack Obama. The mess is not of his doing. John McCain would be facing the same predicament had he been elected president.

As a Republican, I am thoroughly ashamed of the party I largely supported for 35 years. Our terrible fiscal mess resulted from failed policies and inept leadership during the George W. Bush administration. Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton left the country on a healthy course. Both set smart tax standards. Clinton balanced the federal budget and left a surplus.

George W. Bush left office as our economy plunged toward the brink of a depression. Bush spent money like a drunken sailor. He enacted a Medicare prescription drug program whose cost is approaching a trillion dollars without paying or budgeting for it. His Iraq adventure, a war of choice, passed the trillion-dollar mark and that tab still grows. The worst decision he made, however, was the $1.3 trillion tax cut.

The only Americans flourishing in our country are the very rich who continue to profit from the Bush tax cuts, which Republican legislators refuse to allow to expire. They tell you that taxes kill job growth. If that were true, the $1.3 trillion tax cut should have generated more than 20 million jobs. History tells a different story.

What we citizens want is fairness. Clinton brought about a balanced budget and a surplus by balancing revenues with spending.

The fact of the matter is, all these people and these phony organizations and corporate-backed groups are acting out of fear. Fear of a changing status quo. It's narrow, self-interest. The SUPER RICH have carved out a sweet deal with the Republicans and they will fight like hell to keep their gravy boats afloat! They will stop at nothing to keep their yachts, corporate welfare, oil subsidies, tax loopholes and giveaways intact! The remaining group of angry reactionaries do not want to see any change or shift in the American power structure. They realize that in just 20 years, Hispanics will be the largest ethnic group in this country...add to that, a non-white president in the White House today and you've got yourself a Flea-Party! 

“Hey, all of you jobless and soon to be homeless, can you spare a dime for the wealthiest of the wealthy?” It would seem that when Congress passed the law that protected the super rich from taxes for the next two years, they also sealed the fate for those that are middle class or lower. So is it really any surprise that the gap between rich and poor has widened into a chasm–that we continue to become a country of haves and have nots?  To add insult to injury, the current House of Representatives, controlled by John (He makes me cry) Boehner and his cadre of white cronies continue to introduce legislation that works AGAINST the American people. So much for civil servants. Yes, let’s eliminate social programs, social services, healthcare; let’s do everything in our power to make the poor even poorer. Most of us better get used to eating cat food soon.  When will we see the breaking point? What Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and the Flea-Party represent is FEAR. The fear and acknowledgement of a changing world. They can see the political world of the past slipping away. And the beginnings of a fundamentally different political landscape taking shape just over the horizon. A political landscape where whites are not in complete and total control. A landscape where other ethnic groups in America play far more significant roles. That's what the Flea-Party and all this rage is truly about. That's why you only see whites involved in these deceitful groups and their transparent "political" agendas. 

Because the true reasons behind these groups, their benefactors and destructive agendas are so unappealing, they continually disillusion themselves and pretend that the entire Far-Right / Flea-Party movement is really about cutting taxes, deficits, stopping big government spending and reducing the power and scope of "big government". I think we all know, deep down, what all these pretend political groups and their politics of fear, anger and resentment are really and truly about. This most recent waive of anti-government, anti-freedom, anti-worker, anti-women, anti-gay and anti-poor and middle class all boils down to FEAR. The fear of someone or some thing breaking the status quo. The fear that the long-held, institutionalized, systematically ingrained, deeply entrenched enclaves of power in America may be on the verge of collapse. From the highest seats of power, down to our most basic socioeconomic and political behaviors, a sense of profound change is now upon us. Just as non-whites in America are coming to grips with their own increasing empowerment and political strength and the gradual casting off of some mental and social constraints, white Americans are being confronted with the fear of a lost sense of entitlement and the inheritance of privilege. We are all slowly coming to grips with the inevitable sharing of power and equal footing of non-whites, at every level of American society.

The super rich are afraid of going from billionaires back to millionaires and angry reactionaries are afraid of any fundamental shifts in America's power structure. That's where we stand at the moment and these are the fears we face. The deep-seated and undeniable fear that someone or some thing is about to rock their precious gravy boats!

I must give Rupert Murdoch credit for he has exploited the teachings of the Great Chinese War Philosopher Sun Tzu in employing secret agents to develop tremendous political leverage on both the British Parliament and the US Congress by mocking the staid news media.   

Murdoch understands Sun Tzu’s rationale for employing secret agents. Sun Tzu wrote, “Now the reason the enlightened prince and the wise general conquer the enemy whenever they move and their achievements surpass those of ordinary men is foreknowledge.”

Murdoch operates under an overall strategy where he intimidates politicians into succumbing to his skullduggery; therefore he is able to set the political agenda in major nations throughout the world. When his own people, as Keith Olbermann, get off his tomfoolery message, then he simply intimidates them. On his July 11, 2011 show on Current TV network, Olbermann revealed Murdoch’s intimidation that happened to him while working at Fox Sports.

Murdoch knew just having raw data is insufficient for he must know what it really means. His spies needed to accept underhandedness as their norm. Sun Tzu defines foreknowledge that the spy offers.

Sun Tzu also taught, “Just as raw information from spies has to be accurate and properly processed in order in order for probabilities of future events (foreknowledge) to be determined, the quality of today's information also needs to be verified and processed so that probabilities of future events (foreknowledge) can be determined. Information, regardless of how it was obtained, is useless in developing foreknowledge unless it is accurate and interpreted correctly. . .

Murdoch knows that illegal information allows him to get scoops on the established media. He knows the private lives of his enemies whilst ignoring the privacy of anyone in the world. The Murdoch virus was unleashed on President Barack Obama, so surely we will find out who he may have bought in an attempt to get something incriminating on the President of the United States of America.

If this spying scandal continues to escalate to where it is revealed that Murdoch spied on or even attempted to spy on grieving American citizens then the people of the United States of America must defrock Murdoch of his naturalized citizenship, relegating him to illegal alien status.

I do not know whether we should have sympathy for the people working at his media holdings who are tarnished guilty by Murdoch association. We must be honest by accepting that these Murdoch operatives now find themselves in the midst of Great Depression II suggesting reluctance on their part to risk getting sacked as Keith Olbermann had happen. Nevertheless, I surmise that history will reveal how the Fox News minions stood counterpoised to President Obama by being de facto coconspirators with the oil speculators to gouge the American poor and middle class with overpriced gasoline.     

I had not paid much attention about the debt ceiling until the story broke that House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) had to remove himself from debt ceiling negotiation talks due to his short bet against the U.S. dollar.  I first heard about this on Free Speech TV's "The Thom Hartmann Show" over a week ago and since that time, very few people are comprehending the gravity of this situation.  A CONGRESSMAN IS BETTING AGAINST HIS OWN COUNTRY'S CURRENCY AND ECONOMY!!!  Representative Cantor's bet is tantamount to treason and you can best believe that he is the NOT the only congress member betting against America.

Just a few weeks ago, Representative Anthony Weiner (D-NY) was forced by his own party to resign over him sending pictures of his penis to an online acquaintance.  Though he made the fatal mistake of lying about the incident to every news outlet that put a microphone in front of him, the offense had NOTHING to do with his job performance nor did the incident take place during work hours as far as we know.  Yet, this story proliferated every news broadcast for 3 weeks.  Now, we have this bombshell about a congressman in a key leadership position who has broken his sworn oath of office and is actively betting against U.S. currency but NO ONE is calling for Eric Cantor's resignation or indictment!  How could this be?    Well,  the debt ceiling talks is the  latest act in the kabuki theater of American politics and we citizens continue on as a helpless, clueless audience seemingly paralyzed to say or do anything about the unfolding drama happening before our very eyes.

Perhaps a lot of us don't understand the whole concept of our national debt and debt ceiling talks, so let me make it plain for you. The U.S. total debt is currently over $54 trillion and the interest on that debt is well over $3 trillion (source:  U.S. National Debt Clock website).  Currently, the U.S. has a $14.294 trillion credit limit which was raised from the previous $12.394 trillion credit limit back in February 2010 (source:  Treasury Direct website).  Our country is $100 billion away from reaching the new credit limit and we only have a little over $3 trillion in tax and state revenue coming in which will only cover our interest payment.  The gross domestic product or total market value of final goods and services produced in our country which serves as our collateral for obtaining loans is currently at $14.7 trillion.  Looking at this from a personal finance perspective, our country is a horrible credit risk (even though Moody's Investors Service gives the US a AAA credit rating just like they gave all the toxic assets that led to the 2008 financial crisis) and would be extremely hard-pressed to get a loan.  However, congress and the president have the exclusive privilege of raising the country's credit limit infinitely despite our inability to pay off the ever-increasing debt.  Once the new credit limit is agreed upon, our government goes about the business of selling treasury bonds (debt) to individuals, corporations and other countries such as China, Japan, and Russia.  Our country also sells large amounts of its debt to other countries that export oil (Ecuador, Venezuela, Indonesia, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Gabon, Libya, and Nigeria) and serve as banking centers (Bahamas, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Netherlands Antilles, Panama and the British Virgin Islands).  The countries that are designated in bold happen to be places that are in conflict either with the U.S. or internally.  Who in their right mind borrows money from their alleged enemies?

Why is it that Republicans are giving President Obama such a hard time  about raising the debt ceiling when it could mean that America defaults on its loans?  I am only calling out the republican party because other than Representative Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Democrats have done little to fire up bi-partisan working class support for increasing taxes on the wealthy.  Most economists and many business leaders believe that an inability to raise the debt ceiling would have damaging and potentially catastrophic economic consequences.  Certainly, an already vulnerable American public would suffer, with increased interest rates, delays in payment for military personnel and the elderly, as well as a suspension of a variety of other vital services.  Since our nation is currently occupying/fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Libya, there also is a serious risk to our nation's troops overseas and to our strategic international interests. The evidence is strong that our nation would suffer immediate and irreparable harm if the debt ceiling is not raised.  President Obama could issue an emergency executive order to suspend the debt limit since the criteria has been met to do so but what does this mean for our country's escalating debt?  It means that we will continue to wallow in this debt until the countries we owe money call it in and herein lies the farce all of this foolishness.

The world operates on a fiat currency system meaning that the top currencies such as the U.S. dollar, European euro, the Japanese yuan and British pound have no intrinsic value, i.e. they are not based on any physical commodity, but their worth depends on people's faith in them. If people lose faith in a fiat currency, it will stop holding any value and will become no more precious than the paper it was printed on.  Seeing as the House Majority Leader Eric Cantor has a bet against the dollar, it would appear that one of the very people who is paid and entrusted with "bearing true faith and allegiance" to his country, has forsaken it.  The deafening silence about this traitorous act leads me believe that the rest of congress is in on the same bet.  Sadly enough, average citizens are the ones who have to shoulder the overwhelming burden of endless debt.  Yet, when it comes time to print up our "funny money"  or borrow it from other countries, that same congress always votes to give the majority of it to banks, corporations and wealthy individuals via bailouts, tax breaks and subsidies aka corporate welfare.  President Obama has proposed $4 trillion in deficit spending cuts (nobody seems to give a damn about the $54+ trillion principal) that come from social safety programs such as Social Security and Medicare.  The diabolical formula is to gradually raise the full eligibility age to 70 for workers born in 1973 and thereafter, that would cut Social Security outlays by 12 percent by 2050, which would equate to massive savings in dollar terms.  But, as the Congressional Budget Office has noted, an increase in the eligibility age is, in effect, a cut in the benefits which people are expecting to get.  “Forcing people with lower-than-average life expectancies to delay claiming benefits would reduce their lifetime benefits.” CBO said in a report last March. “For example, someone who died at 68 would collect benefits for four years rather than six. And because people with lower earnings tend to have shorter life expectancies, they would be more likely to be harmed by the change.” Source:  Reducing the Deficit:  Spending and Revenue Options - CBO March 2011

It would seem that the people who are supposed to be working toward our best interests would rather see us die than to force their obscenely rich friends to pay up on a little income tax.  Instead, they keep citizens at each others' throats with nonsense such as democrat vs. republican, left vs. right, conservative vs. liberal, gay vs. straight, red state vs. blue state, etc.   Meanwhile, the entities who have bought our leadership lock, stock and barrel, laugh at how ignorant, apathetic and self-defeating the only people who can put an end to the suffering, oppression, poverty and war that they inflict upon us.  Though President Obama has backtracked on many things he said on the campaign trail, one thing is true -- he can't do this alone.  Everybody needs to get involved in how this country is being run.  Step #1 - Get educated on what's ACTUALLY happening and how the world has been working without the input of everyday people like you and I.   The executive, legislative and judicial branches of our government are being paid by corporations and banks to screw over the very people who pay their base salary and benefits.

Our government has already legalized torture, wiretapping, occupation of sovereign nations, bribery and discrimination via the Patriot Act, foreign policy and the Citizens United decision.  How long is it going to take us to do something about any of the myriad problems we face before we find ourselves unable to do so?  Time is ticking very fast.  I hope that Republicans are not "playing chicken" with our economy and that the debt ceiling will be raised before we go into default.   But until then, Security Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, Congressional Ethics Committee, get your damn hands out of the cookie jar and start investigating, indicting and sentencing U.S. elected officials who are betting against America!!!!

Will you be my single-payer?

My wife Gwynelle and I like to go to Cowtown in Sothern, NJ to shop where we saw a white supremacist nightmare because there were people of all races and racial mixtures, but I guesstimate pure Caucasians were the minority population.

As Gwynelle and I ate lunch looking out the Cowtown Restaruant window we also saw people wearing different ethnic garbs. White mothers caring for birracial families and nonwhite husbands or significant others. Yet it was most interesting to see so many nonwhite children for they portend America’s future leadership direction.

Greedy American business people enticed illegal immigrants to break the law chasing low skilled jobs.  Native born low educated African Americans simply got incarcerated in overwhelming numbers, so the cheap nonwhite illegal immigrant  labor was relegated to modern serfdom.  

The above scenario was fine as long as Caucasian women were having many children, so that white babies were the overwhelming population majority. The Women’s Movement opened many opportunities to Caucasian women; therefore, being relegated to barefoot and pregnant or support jobs were no longer the limited mainstream avocations for young girls.  The professional female became the new role model.

When Caucasian women passed off having a house full of children to the illegal immigrant female serfs a KKK nightmare started to grow. The Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments to the US Constution  offer the native born children automatic citizenship and the chance to someday vote in elections.

Amendement 14 – “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. . .

Amendment 15 – “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude. . .”

We can see this miscalculation of the KKK on preventing human nature from taking its course by looking at the Ideals of the Ku Klux Klan. Let us focus on their chattel mindset for nonwhites; especially African Americans. Read below:

As you read on you see the Ku Klux Klan believe that whites are annointed by God to control nonwhites. There must be no power sharing with inferior nonwhites.  The KKK must act to see that blacks and nonwhites do not come to power.

The KKK are nervous over political whoredome because they know white politicians will meet nonwhite needs to get elected. This suggests that the nonwhite vote must be discouraged from showing up at the polls on election days.  Furthermore, the KKK is labelling white folks as white sellouts if they help the nonwhite vote.

If you take a holistic look at the KKK ideals, you may conclude that they are the underpinning for today’s Tea Party Movement. The Tea Party Movement has worked diligently to discredit President Barack Obama because he represents the sharing of governance power with nonwhites. President Obama’s election was an abomination because he is the dreaded mulatto (biracial) they hate.  

The key KKK mistake was an enchantment with the 1924 Virginia Racial Purity Act mindset in a nation made up of immigrants without giving thought to the long term implications of exploiting nonwhite illegal immigrant labor.  Young illegal immigrants coming from Catholic countries are prone to baby making new nonwhite US Citizens who will be tomorrow’s voters.   

If you read on below, you may get a feel for why we are seeing draconian anti-illegal immigrant laws starting to grow as modern variants of yesteryear’s Jim Crow Laws. White Supremacy is now hearing death-rattles; hence, the Tea Party Movement must exploit euphemisms to make it appear that they are great patriots in saving the United States of America from this horde of nonwhite illegal aliens overrunning the nation.

My guess is the Tea Party Movement is punishing the American people for electing a nonwhite President by doing all in their power to neutralize any President Obama effort to pull the nation out of Great Depression II by becoming de facto agents of the oil speculators in taxing the American people with gouging gas prices.    

The 2011 Fourth of July is really a celebration of US racial and ethnic diversity (racial and ethnic amalgamation) finally gaining mainstream legitimacy for now it is okay for whites to marry or cohabitate with nonwhites making the Founding Fathers’ dream of all men created equal a reality.  However, the 2013 Fourth of July celebration must be for upending the Tea Party Movement juggernauts (KKK) by returning President Barack Obama to finish his work and returning both Houses of the US Congress back into the Democratic hands.

As a long tenured Republican, I hate to be cheering on the Democrats but I feel the racist Tea Party Movement rightwing zealots have overrun my party calling for the need of a political exorcism. I hope the Republicans do not find themselves in the untenable position of trying to hold unto yesteryear’s racism when the nation is clearly turning nonwhite. The nonwhite racial equality genii are out of the bottle, so white supremacists might find a variant of the South African majority political model portends the US future. However, the Tea Party Movement can start a new white baby boom to compete with the Hispanics.

When I first sat down to write this piece I had a rant about the word Un-American, What the hell does that mean, Un-American? Well really we do know what that means in the political lexicon of today, he/she/or it ain't like me, don't think like me, don't vote the same way and looks, prays or plays differently than I do.

If that is the case then we is all Un-American folks because trying to define American into those little groups that rail against change, difference or patriot outlook all want to make the word AMERICAN smaller.

From our very beginning there have been small groups that want to play the exclusionary game, Nativists, anti-Irish, anti-German, Eastern European haters, Anti-Catholics, Race baiters, geographical and social Manifest Destiny Manipulators, class warfare Monkeys, political party Pushtists and just plain stupid groups who need a megaphone just to hate on another American they dislike because of a difference of some sort.

I AM DIFFERENT than you BUT I am still an AMERICAN!

History is full of small minded Americans. With the fear factor racheted up, these people get louder and then fan flames they have kept burning for a long time. These "embers of hate" are explained away as a strong sense of right and wrong, patriotic duty, moral fiber and plain old Americanism.

Have we all had enough of this YET!

We are a big country so we need a big definition of what American really means.

Here is your opportunity to tell us what an American is and not what an Un-American American is. This weekend begins an American celebration of who and what we are, Celebrate it, don't continue to denigrate the word!

In a news conference aired on national television Wednesday morning, President Obama told the Press Corps what he has done, but what will the Republican "leaders" in Congress do-other than complain?

Contrary to the propaganda spewed by the Republican leadership and the corporate media, the only tax breaks that would go would be those tax breaks to "millionaires, billionaires and corporate jet owners," and before we sacrifice the weakest and most vulnerable of our citizens, this country should demand that those who were lucky enough to experience the amount of success which this nation afforded them pay this nation back in the form of a greater share of their revenue than they have been paying for a long time.

Remember that it was Eric Cantor, not President Obama, who walked out on negotiations.  What's more, remember that the wealthy are enjoying the lowest tax rates since President Eisenhower-who was actually quite the liberal, if you remember.

Maybe conservatives here will actually sacrifice their children so that jet owners and oil tycoons continue to recieve tax breaks they don't need.  The question remains to be why Republicans continue to side with billionaires and oil interests who are making a killing at the pump.

Maybe it's because the Republicans still consider us, as Leona Helmsely called us, "the little people."  Their proposals on the Hill and in places like Wisconsin and Indiana definitely add weight to this suggestion.

Republicans once told us that deficits don't matter.  So, why this charade about a concern for a default on our debt?  Why do they want us to default on our debt?  Ah!  It's all part of the 'I hope he fails!' strategy proposed by Rush Limbaugh.

Ask the employees of Alcoa if the president has failed them.  He just visited their plant on Tuesday.

If President Obama can stay in town due to the Greek crisis, the situation in Afghanistan and ordering the death of Osama Bin Laden and little things like that, surely the Republicans can do something much easier-like stay in town and cut a deal with the president which won't hurt our most vulernable citizens.  Either the Republicans are lazy or that they just don't have the stomach to govern. 

History suggests both.

Oil tycoons and corporate jet owners or your children?  Which side are you on?  President Obama has told you with whom he sides and Eric Cantor and John Boehner have told you with whom they side.

How about you?

I have had it with two-bit politicians of patriotic pandering using the flag, parenthood, the family, eagles, snakes on a flag (not in a plane), bloody trees, liberty hats (have they stolen that one yet?), flintlocks and silly hats and lacy pirates shirts to inflame the patriotic passion of the angry electorate. Now we are into floundering with the 'Fadders' more than ever and I'm sick of it all.

The men of America known as The Founding Fathers were complex men and a product of their times. They were readers of the Bible and of The Enlightenment. Think about that sentence for a minute.

They were traditionalists and the 'modern thinkers' for their times. They read and wrote voraciously and some of their writings did question some of their decisions later on. If you read into the deeper parts of the making of our great documents that helped create this nation, you will find a complex history of committees, colonial factions and individuals who held up or pushed certain things over others.

Some of these push and shove moves were philisophical, some moral, some colony interests over federal interests, some were even personal. What really burns me is that these  "modern" politicians now a days show less depth of knowledge in American History than many of us here and then we all argue the point they are 'contorting' to make (when ever I see them use the 'fadders' I know there ain't no point other than a political posturing point).

Any time the Founding Fathers come out of a politican's mouth then ya best just get the shovel out and clean the historic barnyard cause "they be slingin' heavy weapons of patriotic pulp fiction for a vote".

I am not just talking Sarah and Michele here peeps, I am talking Diests vs Christians, States vs Feds, Union vs Rebels, individulalists vs society, rich vs poor and on and on and on...

Every one wants a piece of the 'Fadders' but no one wants to spend more time learning about them. I like when I learn something new about these men, it makes them more human and less of a myth. what I don't like is when some manipulator of facts wants to "interpret" for me what these guys meant or should have meant with less then truthful historic assertions.

I am still learning about the Founding Dudes, scholars are still learning and arguing about the these Great Guys of Goodess and Freedom.

(Oh oh Dog, are you funnin' with the Fathers of our country?) Hell yeah, the're just humans that did many good things and made some mistakes, I don't do political worship too well even for the old dudes of America. After all, I read a lot of history and have a lot more to read before I understand it all. You all should too!

  No matter where I listen to the "news" all I really seem to hear is opinions. So I thought I would get in on the action. For those of you who are going to disagree with me and there are usually plenty of you I respectfully ask that you try to keep your comments somewhat civil. The same goes for those few who may agree with me. Now where should I start?

Let me start with Christians. I have said this before and I say it again. I have all the respect in the world for those true Christians..the ones who do not try to force feed their religion on others but rather live their lives as they believe. They are charitable, forgiving, honest, help those in need, pray for those they believe need it without telling them they do, pray for themselves for they know that they are not perfect and respect the rights of others to believe in different ideas and religions. But the other so called Chrisitians that use God's name and words as a reason for their hatred, bigotry and actions are in my view despicable human beings and that is not something I say lightly. For anyone to use their religion as a front for wars, for the murder of another human, to harrass or degrade another person's way of life, or to shout from the rafters that theirs is the only true way and that only they know what God wants is a sure way to hell if you believe in it.

  Gay rights. I am tired of hearing that we want "special" rights or privilages. All we want is the same rights that anyone NOT gay has. The right to marry who we love, to raise our children in a loving and secure home without them being ridiculed or told that their parents are sinful wicked creatures, to have the same rights when it comes to serving our country, taxes, medical decisions for our spouses, acceptance in our chosen religions, the right to walk down the street holding hands without being hassled or worse, and the right to the respect that most show to their fellow man. 

 Moving on to other rights. If you do not want a union fight the good fight to keep it out of your workplace but if the majority votes it in then deal with it. But our state governments should not have the power to take the right of the people to decide that away from them. States  should not have the power to overturn the peoples vote on anyone or anything unless fraud is proven beyond doubt.

 Women's rights..we have come along waybaby. But there is still discrimination but the biggest thing that I see is the abortion issue. Don't agree with it? Don't have one. But no one should be able to tell a woman what to do with her own body. And to go so far as to make it almost impossible to get one is to send us back to the days of backstreet abortions and clothes hangers. This issue( along with union busting) for many states has been the number one priority instead of the real needs of their citizens like jobs, debt, education and foreclosures. They would rather spend their time and their taxpayers money on it then show that they have no idea how to solve the real problems. And as far as I am concerned if you believe in the equal rights set out in our constitution then all these things would not even need to be debated or have laws passed because they would just be accepted as rights for all.

  And since I am speaking of politicians  and the problems facing so many these days lets go there next.I do not believe that the government has the right to interfere in all parts of our lives but I do believe that there are some things that they should oversee or regulate..banks, interest rates and consumer rights to just name a few. My own opinion on a few ways to save money goes like this. First let all if a politician works at the state level ( that includes the governor) let him furnish his own transportation for everything except state emergencies ..ok they can have a travel allowance but it should not be outrageous... we pay our own way to work so why shouldn't they do the same. Next we need to take a long hard look at term limits, pensions and salaries. Does anyone here have the right to vote for their own pay raises? If they miss a vote for anything except illness or family emergencies they should be docked pay, they shouldn't get more time off then teachers ( and a lot of teachers work summer jobs to pay the bills) or more than a fireman or policeman. We pay their salaries and I for one am tired of them not doing their jobs. Then of course there are the ones at the federal level. If American workers can tighten our belts and take pay and benefit cuts then why aren't they doing it too?  Just think what a one to three percent pay cut across the board ( state and federal level) could save the taxpayer. And I do not even want to start on how much time they take off. Next of course comes the rich and their tax liabilities. Why do we let our politicians get away with giving them all tax breaks they can come up with? If I can pay my fair share then surely they can afford to. Then of course there are the large corporations. They should not have all the loopholes they do to get around paying taxes. They should not be rewarded for shipping jobs overseas, banking out of the country, or for using the old tired excuse of "we will have to lay off workers" if they are made to pay what they should be paying. And they should not be able to buy and pay for politicians to get their wishlists fulfilled. Two more things the first being..  the money we spend on losing the "war on drugs" is ridiculous and many changes should be made to this so called policy the first being..just legalize marijuana and tax it and the second being..I support the Dream Act because it makes sense both morally and financially. This country was built on the backs, blood and lives of immigrants. I am not saying do away with all the immigration laws but some are absurd and children should not have to pay for what their parents did or did not do to get here.

 I believe the supreme court should be made to prove that their decisions are based on law, the constitution and not anyone's personal beliefs, they should be held to a higher of level of scrutiny when it comes to conflict of interests or participation in anything (right, left or middle) that could be perceived as supporting one group over another. Being on the highest court in the land should require complete partisan judgement. And I do not believe that they should hold those positions for life.

  Last but only because I am tired of typing is medicaid,medicare and social security. My opinion is if you want to do away with these things there needs to be better ideas then the ones I have heard. Instead of getting rid of the things that help the poor and old why not find a better way to root out fraud, have a one payer healthcare system( oh man am I going to hear about thatone), quit letting the drug companies have it all their way if they want the business, and let those who make over a certain amount opt out of social security if they want to or pay in more if they don't. All I am saying is find ideas that work and quit wasting time and money trying to get rid of social programs that so many need and are forced to rely on.

 Ok I had my rant for the day. Don't bother to tell me I can't use speel( that was on purpose) check correctly or need to learn how to punctuate.;'!?  And now I end with this ... I did not write this as a gay, right, left, moderate, liberal, conservative, female, male, Christian, non-Christian (need I go on?)but as an ordinary everyday person who has a right to voice their opinion.

The 22-year-old who shot Representative Gabrielle Giffords supposedly has a history of mental issues, yet we have people in this country who believe that anyone should have to right to own a firearm.

Anyone?

The Founding Fathers wrote the Second Amendment because they feared that Americans would be invaded by a foreign army, which was a legitimate concern at the time due to the fact that American ships were being boarded by the British long after the Revolution. Few, if any, had any idea that Americans would use the Second Amendment against their own kind, but it has happened-and more than just on one occasion.

Where should we start?  Oh!  I know!  Charles Whitman in 1967!  Remember how he just picked off all of those innocent college students-one by one?  The Second Amendment allowed him to possess a firearm, didn't it?

Okay, so you want something more recent!  As per the tune from Lynyrd Skynyrd, we have God n' Guns in the form of David Koresh!  How about John Muhammad?  There's another one for ye!

Why do we still debate this, especially since everyone knows that you are more likely to injure yourself or a loved one with a firearm than you are more likely to use it on an intruder?

Finally, and with love, I submit to you that wonderful moment when Dick Cheney shot his little playmate.  If he wasn't a perfect case in point regarding the Second Amendment, I don't know who is.

When laws become outdated, we repeal them.  When experiments don't work, we report them, and when those experiments become downright dangerous to the fabric of our nation, we must stop them.

The Second Amendment did its job.  It protected this nation when she was at her most vulnerable stages in the early years of her existence, but now it is as outdated as capital punishment because today's threats are not militaristic, but economic.  What's more, the Second Amendment has become a menace to society as kids accidentally kill playmates, victims of bullies aim for revenge and spouses paint the walls red with the other spouse's brains, courtesy of a 357 Magnum.  The sad thing is that most conservatives (except for James Brady) refuse to see that.

The Chinese don't need to fire a shot in order to take over America.  They can simply buy us out-and some refuse to see that.  However, this is a subject which has been covered before and if some who read this article don't get it by now, they never will.

When President Obama spoke after the play, "Sister Act" he did mention that some supporters undoubtedly have complaints as all of their 'issues' were not resolved. His trademark cool evident even when some in the audience yelled out they weren't upset, I was struck by the president's persistence in being honest:

"Maybe you weren't, but even I have been frustrated."

As the saying goes, "Rome wasn't built in a day."

So anyone who thought 30 years of Republican opposition would suddenly disappear because of the election of President Barack Obama is unrealistic. Living in 'Fantasy Island' somewhere. Change takes time, and impatience is certainly present in our technological world. Yet patience and determination we must have, so as not to allow America to transform into a modern day fascist state.

Our president is still hitting the right notes, as most of the B-list candidates are not qualified to challenge him. Newt. Michelle B.  Mitch, and the gang. Not presidential material. More sideshows/reactionaries who lack basic knowledge of American History, and can't rewrite it. None are his intellectual equals.

Especially when you refer to the president as if he were born in Kenya, somewhere.  So far, I wouldn't trade him for anyone yelling out there who wants to run. That's a shame in itself --the Republican party reduced to little more than a group of crappy, complainers with no plan, no solution, only to not tax the rich!

And let's not get started on the Supreme Court members, especially my favorite, Clarence Thomas. He could never hold a candle to Thurgood Marshall, and Thomas' selection in the first place was an insult. He, and the other Bush/Regan appointees still pledge allegiance to the Koch Brothers, and not the flag.

This is not the American way. We may not have known then, but we know now, --we need President Obama to continue to straighten out the mess Bush left behind.

We need to do this one more time, and do it right for the future of our nation.

Everyone knows about the Civil War.

Eleven Southern states threw a temper tantrum because Abraham Lincoln was elected President of the United States and decided that they wanted to form their own country.  Over half a million Americans lost their during the course of this tantrum.  In fact, this war remains to be the bloodiest war in American history.

For all of his faults (racism being among them!), President Lincoln firmly established federal rule over states rights once and for all, and most people forget that four slave states remained loyal to the Union. 

The South has continued to resist Federal control, even to this day, as we see Confederate battleflags as part of a Southern state's flag and as we continue to hear conservatives continue to wage the lost argument of the rights of the states.

When one engages in this argument in favour of the losing side, one mocks every American who shed his blood over the course of those four years, but we will just skip that part since today's issues are a little more pressing. 

Yes, there are still the fools who want to transplant the former Soviet Union's failed experiment called the Commonwealth of Independent States to the United States, as they refuse to admit that the United States of America is one nation and not fifty.  They also fail to acknowledge that the Articles of Confederation were a complete failure-and for the same reason-no sense of unity.  However, there are also deeper issues.

On one side we have those who believe that health care is a right, while on the other we have those who say that every baby has a right to life, but if the parents cannot afford an open heart transplant, that child has no right to live because it is they who oppose the idea that all Americans have a right to health care coverage without being penalized for "pre-existing conditions."

On one side, we have a those who believe that Earth is only 6,000 years old and that Adam and Eve walked with T-Rex, while on the other side we have those who see evidence of evolution of species over a course of millions and not thousands of years.   In case you might be wonder why this is a big deal, wait for the next local school board election.

On one side, we still see voter suppression of minorities, while on the other we have ACLU attorneys.

On one side, we see religion being used as a weapon on an unsuspecting population while on the other side there are those who say that Americans have a right to be free from religion.

On one side, we have those who believe that government should only work for the bankers while on the other side, we have those who believe that the government should work for everyone as it puts people back to work by funding public works projects similar to those undertaken in the 1930's.

Finally, on one side, we have those who would destroy America's credit rating by trying to make the black president look bad while the other side wants a repeal of the Bush tax cuts which caused the deficit to spiral out of control in the first place.  Keep in mind that the first group once said that deficits don't matter.  I suppose that is only the case when conservatives are in power and waging quagmires with borrowed money from a nation who doesn't like us.

This is only a cold civil war at the present time.  Although blood has ocassionally been shed, it is mostly a civil war with rhetoric used as the weapon of choice.  However, there are those who want to water the tree of liberty with raw sewage, and they can be found at your local Tea Party chapter.

As I read reports that news people of color are being laid off in the news industry from the Maynard Institute, I worry that there may be an effort underway to control nonwhites’ freedom of speech going into the 2012 General Election.

My concern was heighten when I read the June 21, 2011 article at WHAS11.com, “Ikenberg was one of 24 let go from the newsroom staff, which also includes long-time editorial writer Betty Winston Baye.”

I have known Baye for many years. She is a Nieman Fellow giving her a Harvard University pedigree. My guess is her writing style sets rightwing Republican US Senators of Kentucky Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul in a fit. This meant that Baye’s moderate commentaries needed to be silenced before the 2012 General Election.

I am still concerned over the National Newspaper Publishers Association, which is a federation of 200 black newspapers that negotiate with advertisers, currently in a major struggle with Toyota to prevent this corporation from cherry picking black newspapers for advertising dollars.  The Toyota action has the potential of breaking the bonds between black papers and scaring survivors into not printing controversial stories.

My guess is we are witnessing the incarnation of a Rupert Murdoch anti-freedom of speech virus in the news media. This virus is expected to attempt to purge nonwhite moderate and liberal thinking out of the US news media while guaranteeing that nonwhite media professionals are not able to provide President Barack Obama with positive press. The Rupert Murdoch virus is likely hoping to force the mainstream into a clone of Fox News fair and balanced illusion.

Murdoch virus will upend the First Amendment to the US Constitution, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances” by destroying the press from within. Surely the rightwing is looking for the modern sell outs in the Black American Press.

I hope my gut instinct is wrong in suggesting an underhanded effort is underway to purge nonwhites from the US mainstream news media and bankrupt the black press through advertising starvation.   Will the Democrats allow the Republican rightwing juggernauts to turn moderate and liberal into political labels that are tantamount to political suicide? Will the Democrats equate white Republican ultraconservative antics with racism against nonwhites? 

They are still crying about it.

In fact, they've never stopped.  Ever since NBC accidentally omitted the words "Under God," the Religious Reich has been driving normal Americans insane about the Pledge of Allegiance and how we are cursed if we choose to forget God.

Excuse me, but it seems to me that we just went an eight year ordeal with someone who shoved their version of God down 300 million throats every chance he had and started a quagmire in Iraq in that God's Name.  That being said,  who cares if NBC omitted those words?

Which is most offensive?

Omitting the words 'Under God' in the Pledge of Allegiance (words which were originally absent!), fighting a quagmire in that God's Name or neglecting the least of our brethren, as we are told not to do in the very Book which some people think that every school child should read (even though it's full of sex and violence!)?

Isn't it interesting that those who complain about an innocent omission vote for politicians who have no concern for the poor?

Isn't it interesting that those who complain about an innocent omission vote for politicians who want to deny Americans health care coverage when Christ healed people for free?

Isn't it interesting that those who complain about an innocent omission still engage in bigotry of the lowest form when their Bible states that they are to love their neighbour?

Isn't it interesting that most of these zealots have no idea that the words 'Under God' were not added to the Pledge of Allegiance until 1954?

If one's hypocrisy is enough to drive one to drink, this is enough to drive one to drink and drive through a mall! 

Normal Americans have no problem with those who those who preach religion, so long as they practice what they preach and know when to stop preaching.  Normal Americans would also greatly appreciate it if the zealots among us not only learned more about the Pledge of Allegiance, but more about American history in general.  If they did, they would be quite surprised at the spiritual leanings of our Founding Fathers.

Maybe that's why it states in our Constitution that there is to be no religious test for office.  But then, what's a little thing like the Constitution mean to them?

VANCOUVER: Several days after their beloved hockey team was annihilated by Boston at home during the Stanley Cup finals, the other half of the city has been completely destroyed by more riots as Vancouverans prepare for the early return of the Mama Grizzly herself, Sarah Palin. Ms. Palin, upon losing valuable media attention for her one-nation bus tour, decided to generate different media attention by quitting halfway through and returning to Alaska just in time for summer to begin in the state.

In Maine, the residents celebrated by throwing massive parades costing upwards of the entire budget, followed by much drinking and then the release of thousands of captive Lobsters into the streets, as due to the drunken state of the majority of Maine the residents forgot that lobsters reside on the sea floor. Widespread lobster deaths are expected over the next few days and local hospitals are seeing spikes in treated lobster bites. Vermont also celebrated, but due to the low population in the state we could not locate any of the state's three residents to explain the meaning behind their celebrations, though the state had been preparing for her visit by digging a trench around the borders of the state and filling it with maple syrup.

The same joy could not be felt by the residents of Canada and especially Vancouver, where a red alert was issued ahead of Sarah's return. The Mayor of the city has ordered a complete shutdown and bomb shelters prepared and stocked for an extended stay. 

"I've wet myself a few times just thinking about the weeks ahead... I mean, what will happen to my family and I? What will happen to my kids if I and my partner do not make it through?" Said one concerned resident.

Another commented, "I survived through her a few times now, but I don't think I'll be able to do it again. Not this time, I think."

A local Stop & Shop reported shortages of Paper towels, water, bread/other survival foods, and pistols within hours of the alarms.

Our own reporter from Vancouver, Loretta von Birch, gave her account on the state of the city: "Leafy, it appears that the entire city is in full panic mode and preparing for the worst. It is absolute hell here as residents head for their bunkers. I'm already hearing reports of mass suicide by residents just north of here who have no other option."

Those suicides add to the already climbing death toll due to the pre-prep riots in Vancouver, where 90% of the city was sacked and hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets, overturning cars, fighting, and drinking what could perhaps be their last tastes of alcohol. It appears that there are multiple different fires currently burning and the city is doing nothing about them.

It also appears that about an hour from Vancouver, medics are rushing to the scene of a 400 car pileup. Alcohol was not a factor but the cars were travelling at high rates of speed. One car caught by traffic cameras was cruising at a cool 140 MPH. As usual in Canada, the road was covered in ice at the time of the accident.

One doesn’t know really what Orwell was thinking about when he wrote 1984, probably he never believed that this great book of his would become a reality in the present day, or did he? There is no doubt that more and more elements of 1984 are visible both in Europe and the USA, and that is truly a worrisome trend that all of us are just sitting passively by and letting it happen and are either too engrossed in the problems of our daily lives, or too busy chasing the chimera of wealth and money, or the next electronic gadget to actually realize what is really happening.

Do all of us who read 1984 remember that language people were taught in the book, “Newspeak”? The language that the ruling regime INGSOC was making people learn as a substitute to the English language, a form of communication specifically designed to make all other mode of thought difficult if not impossible. A language specifically, almost genetically altered purposely to eradicate the complex linguistics of Standard English, so as to neuter the ability of the individual to express complex thoughts. Most of us laughed at that then, and most certainly most of my generation never thought this possible; at least until now.

Was it an Orwellian fantasy? Maybe, but if we look at what is happening to the English language in British and American speech today, at this prevalence of politically correct anesthetized terminology in use more and more in Academic and Government environments, the acronyms used more and more by the younger generations in their everyday interactions, then I would hazard to say maybe not! Let’s take a look at the media outlets today be it in Europe or in the USA and look at the coverage the numerous scandals that have arisen from Weakileaks and how dismissive the whole impact of all this has been on most of us. While if we look back at the media reaction to events such as the Profumo scandal in Britain, or Watergate in the US, then it easy to see how public conscience and perception has changed or has been altered by the “Newspeak” of today.

When in the 60s and the 70s phenomenons like the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement generated passion and debate, and there was political and social consciences dictated by the far more comprehensive and complete education system. A system were as kids we studied classics, read classics, languages, grammar, history, and many other subjects, so that when we reached our teens we had a critical and analytical mindset, and were in the position to judge events and the actions of our rulers and we protested, criticised, marched, and were able to argue on level of parity with older generations; in short we able to rock the boat, and that scared the crap out of INGSOC.

While today a phenomenon like the Guantanamo military facility, were inmates are not classed as “prisoners” but as “detained”, and why? Because our new politically correct “Speakeasy”, our INGSOC has changed the rules of grammar, so that while a prisoner is someone that is held, and the action of holding him in safe custody is ordained by a lawfully constituted authority for having committed a crime, or waiting to be judged by his peers in a trial, where his presumption of innocence is paramount till found guilty or acquitted of that crime. The Detainee is a non-entity, both grammatically, legally and in real terms. In fact none of the men and probably even women that are “detained”, and some since the creation of this monstrosity in 2002, have never been charged with any type of criminal offence and probably never will, as the evidence on which most are detained would be thrown out of court not only in the USA but anywhere where there is a rule of law and codified and clear rights of the individual.

Whatever moral high-ground the original intention had when this whole process started it quickly went out of the window, when it became evident that by undermining the rule of Law, by destroying any form of judicial constraint we have allowed a turning back of the clock to a clear and rampant totalitarian practice, by means of arbitrary imprisonment, torture, and the return of the nasty spectre of the concentration camp by espousing methods adopted by Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia, and for millions of fathers of my generation fought to end in World War 2.

Symbolically though the significance of Guantanamo, represent the beginning of a totalitarianization not only of American political culture but of Western culture as a whole. The effective attack on certain political positions judged as unpatriotic, or almost acts of treason if going against, or criticising the course of action taken by the leadership in defence of the nation. This is more and visible not only in Congressional debates in the USA but we are seeing it more and more in the various European Parliaments, especially in the UK, France and Germany.

However what is really significant from all this is the societal apathy that is pervasive in our societies, our lack of understanding of what is in effect happening. This state of affairs, I have no doubt both as a University Professor and a Jurist, as been a deliberate policy throughout the West for at least the last 30 years.

The systematic and relentless destruction of our education systems both in the US and in Europe, hasn’t been an accident, it’s been a deliberate policy of successive governments throughout the Western world.

A Guantanamo would have been unthinkable in the 60s or the 70s, we would have revolted and hell would have broken loose. Wikileaks and the information that it provided would have been the object of debates and arguments in intellectual and university circles, articles would have been written, attacks and popular demonstrations would have occurred. But then, our minds as teenagers where far more evolved and critical than our contemporaries today; we had no PCs, Internet, I-PODs or social networking without physical interaction, we talked, fought, argued, loved, and protested. We lived!

When the sad figure of Winston Smith, the main character in Orwell’s 1984 was like all his contemporaries in the novel bombarded by slogans like: “War is peace, Freedom is Slavery and Ignorance is Strength”, or dullness and uniformity of his life, the endless lies and falsifications of the Party. How is it possible not see the correlation of where we are heading today, and what we risk to become tomorrow?

For the real enemy of freedom, of culture, isn’t totalitarianism as such, it’s the intellectual and moral apathy that precedes it.

Even as I write this, the fire in the pit over which my body will be roasted is being prepared. I’ve been food for the masses before, especially those of my own gender who think women hold some lofty perch which men can only aspire to reach. I can stand the flames. I relish the heat. In fact, I think of my charred skin as having a healthy tan. Better tanned and truthful than lily white (perception is everything) and delusional.

This morning as I sipped the coffee my husband brings daily to our bedside, I read Gene Lyons (Arkansas Democrat Gazette) column entitled “Media get off on sex scandals.” Hey, everybody gets off on sex scandals, but that’s beside the point. Dealing with the right from the beginning yawn worthy topic of former Congressman Anthony Weiner’s predilection for preening himself in public, Mr. Lyons cleverly equates narcissist Weiner with author Philip Roth’s protagonist, Alexander Portnoy, of Portnoy’s Complaint fame.

As interesting as I found Mr. Lyons’ comparison of Weiner and Portnoy, where he really hit the nail on the head was when he wrote, “… I’m neither shocked nor surprised that Mr. Weiner found willing playmates.” Me, either.

Working on the fringes of the entertainment industry, I have seen some mind boggling examples of women throwing themselves at celebrities who, if not for their star status, would generate a need to leave more than the proverbial ten foot pole distance between them. But appear on the pages of Us or People magazines and, suddenly, up close and personal has a whole new meaning.

In defense of men, I've pretty much stopped watching sitcoms that portray males as imbeciles unable to wipe their butts without a woman pointing out the location of their, well, you know the spot I am referring to. Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens and Seinfeld are all funny shows with one common thread-- men could not survive if not for the bitchy women who run their lives. Even Two and a Half Men, a show with a premise that would allow for one of the male characters to have actual good character, still depicts Alan (Jon Cryer) as a simpleton unable to make simple decisions. He's a doctor, for god's sake. How did he get through school without, at least, a modicum of viable brain matter?

Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie, is totally without redemptive qualities. He's a self-centered, over-sexed narcissist with mommy issues. He recycles women with more regularity than the Solid Waste Authority does trash. Why would any woman want to share her life with these Neanderthals? Why? Because, using Sheen as an example, although his on screen persona and his off screen self are one and the same, he’s famous. Nuff said! Personally, I miss Jim Anderson (Robert Young) on Father Knows Best. He personified the values that make this country great -- a truly caring man who put the needs of his wife and children above all else.

Weiner was a weiner long before he tweeted his nether regions into cyber space. He is not a reflection of most men I have had the privilege to know. Not all males are fools any more than all women are money hungry bitc… bimbos. Good and bad comes in both genders.

Now, let’s put Anthony Weiner and his ilk where they belong --- out of sight/out of mind. Rather, let’s focus our attention on the Jim Anderson’s of this world. There are many men deserving of recognition for their good deeds and many women, like me, who are proud to hold their arm as we walk through life together.

Back when it was Centrist and did care about Society as a whole. (even if most of it was lip service for politics) Sadly the party has vastly changed since the inclusion of the "Moral Majority, Radical Fundamentalist Christians, Dominionists, dirty Rovian politics, Newtian deceptive editing of History, Corporate lobbying, The allegedly rumored corruption of the Supreme Court, the stripping of the Constitutional protections of We The People through the Un-Constitutional PATRIOT ACT, and the Neo-Fascist control of television and print media; that even sued in Federal Court to verify they can flat out LIE legally to the American people...

Don't believe me? Look it up one media conglomerate sued to verify the right that they can state absolutely know falsehoods to the viewing public...No other media has ever done this in the history of the US.

As a Republican I am embarrassed in what my Party has become. Vampires.

1. PREAMBLE CERTIFICATION ACT. 1.A) Acknowledging that this was the preface and Origins of INTENT of the Framers of the Constitution, and that, ALL interpretations of the Constitution's Laws and Provisions should be interpreted from the intent expressed in the clauses stated within the preamble. Currently it is rumored...Conservative Justices even some on the current Supreme Court have argued and won in court, the belief, that the Preamble has NO Bearing on the interpretation of the Laws and Provisions written within the Constitution! 1.B) Acknowledgment that the Constitution is a SECULAR non-denomination document and NOT a Christian document as some historical revisionists are attempting to claim.

2. CITIZENS RIGHTS ACT. Repeal the Un-Constitutional Patriot Act.

3. FISA RESTORATION ACT. Dump Patriot Act provisions and Enforce FISA Rules for all foreign intelligence investigations.

4. TAX EQUITY ACT. Flat tax of 15% for all Private individuals earning $20K or more Exemption only for the 100% disabled, the elderly on Social Security income only or individuals over the age of 67 with individual income under $100,000. Flat Small Business tax of 17% for all small business or corporations of 30 employees or less. Flat Corporate tax of 23% for all business's or corporations with 31+ employees. Zero tax exemptions allowed for business or corporate location, relocation, construction and development. ZERO Tax exemption for Business or Corporations that maintain their equity and funds overseas to avoid US taxation for goods and/or services produced within the territories of the US. 5% tax on all consumable goods. 7% tax on all luxury items. 8% tax break on all alternative energy projects that produce zero sum air, water or soil pollution in the generation of energy.

5. IMPORT SECURITY ACT. 12% tariff on ALL imported goods not originating from a 51% owned US business or corporation. ALL businesses and corporations willing to be designated a US Business or Corporation and exempt from the tariff MUST always be a minimum 51% US owned and must maintain an additional 10% of their stock with the US Government. These stock interest monies in turn would be exclusively for US owned small business development loans from the US Economic Board. Yes giving the Government of the Nation of the US a stake and small voice in the corporations. Socialism? NO! Nationalism YES. Corporations will NEVER invest or reinvest with the American people as long as we have a higher standard of living than anywhere else that they can make a higher profit from...this is the nature of Laissez-Fair Capitalism! And this is the Elephant in the room with Capitalism, the search for maximizing profits at the expense of any government, anything or anyone else. I for one love this country more than any other that I have visited, I would prefer we as a Nation endure and not become a slave Nation to the Corporations of America and the Financial Elite NOR be reduced by these said entities to a Third World UNEMPLOYED weak economic populus begging for scraps from the Government. IF the Government owned stock option is totally rejected then all business should be taxed at 23% and corporations should be taxed at 28% with NO loopholes in the tax code for them to avoid supporting our Nation with their taxes. Additionally all products shipped into the US whether complete, in total, in pieces or partial goods would be subject to the same 12% tariff unless produced and shipped from a US designated factory or in the instance of raw materials a Mine or land Tract owned by a US Corporate entity.

6. REPRESENTATIONAL TERM LIMIT ACT. 2-Term "Consecutive" Term Limit for all Senators and Congressmen.

7. TRUTH IN GOVERNMENT ACT. End to Anonymous Holds of presidential appointments. If you place a hold you must be identified with that hold and you must within 30 days justify the hold or remove it. With a 90 day maximum filibuster delay to a vote of proceeding to confirm, deny or removing the appointment. End to open filibuster rules. Filibuster initiators should be REQUIRED to actually be PHYSICALLY on the floor and stay there as the filibuster was originally intended. An Individuals filibuster should be able to be broken by a minimum majority vote, Political Party Filibusters willing to overturn the minimum majority vote should require 100% of one party and an additional 5% of another party to be valid. This rule should end political gamesmanship at the expense of the American people.

8. JUDICIAL CONTROL ACT. Term limits for Supreme Court Justices of 12 years. The Presidential ability to request a vote of no confidence, censure or removal against a Supreme Court Justice for partisan violations of impartiality... (Citizen United vote was not even on the Supreme Court calendar, they brought it to themselves to vote on it) ...voted on by a super majority of the Senate. If a Supreme Court Justice is removed from office using the Presidential no confidence rule they are barred from any direct governmental or lobbyist position for life. Additionally all Supreme Court Justices must adhear to the Judicial Responsibility and Integrity act already in place that all other State and Federal justices must adhear to.

9. FINANCE REFORM ACT. Campaign Finance Reform with Full donation source reporting. Corporate Donation financial limits the same as an individuals and swift prison terms for influence peddling for lobbyist firms and the government official convicted of selling their vote for profit. There is no reason a Corporation should have the ability to pour more money into a campaign or Government Representative than any individual of "WE THE PEOPLE."

10. TECHONOLOGIES SECURITY ACT. US Patent Sale restriction of 10 years to force National development of technologies rather than selling our new technologies future to the other Nations of the World. Patent licensing restriction for 2 years to US owned companies exclusively.

11. CONTRACTORS UCMJ ACT. All Contractors under contract for services with the United States Government or one of its Entities operating outside the Territories of the United States will be under and subject to, the UCMJ Code of Conduct, its procedures and penalties and have a DIRECT Military or Governmental Liaison responsible for the documentation and reporting of Violations to the Designated Chain of Command for action from infractions. Never again should rape and murder by a contractor go un-punishable by the US Government.

12. NATIONAL EARTH ACT. Requiring all industries to be responsible for 100% of their environmental impact study and clean-up. Too long industries have polluted our Earth and then left it on the backs of the American people and their Government utilizing a Waste cleanup Superfund. Included would be industry requirements of impact studies with plans for zero permanent damage to our watersheds, soil and air. Either we are parasites on this Earth killing the hosts to our own detriment or we can be healthy symbiotes renewing the Earth for all generations.

13. NATIONAL LANDFILL RECYCLABLE ACT. ALL government owned landfills will be allocated monies and in the case of privately owned landfills, long term low interest loans shall be allocated to convert from solely burying refuse to a Hybrid Recycling Center Landfills and Energy Power Generation Plants. Recovering electrical power from the conversion of waste products. In the instance of Government owned Recycling Centers ALL monies recovered in the recycling process and Energy Generation shall be allocated to operation expense and to IN-STATE Transportation Projects Exclusively.

14. NATIONAL WATERPOWER RECLAIMATION ACT. ALL government owned water and wastewater treatment plants will be allocated monies and in the case of privately owned water or wastewater treatment plants long term low interest loans shall be allocated to convert from solely treating water or wastewater to a Hybrid Water or Wastewater Energy Power Generation Plants. Recovering electrical power from the conversion of wastewater to Methane, Hydrogen, clean water and solid wastes. Any monies generated from government water treatment power generation shall be allocated to operation and maintenance expense and to IN-STATE Transportation Projects Exclusively.

15. PARITY IN SENTENCING ACT. Assessment and restructuring of sentencing for non-violent crimes and drug violations to increase fines and reduce prison sentencing. Refocus of the Drug War on Prevention, Recovery and Treatment rather than Arrest, Seizure and Detention. Reclassification of mild drug use, not distribution, such as Marijuana use to be a misdemeanor and fines in line with alcohol rather than treating these passive users harder than rapists murderer's and thieves.

16. VIOLENT CRIMES ACT. Increased RECOMMENDED Sentences for Murder, Armed Assault, Kidnapping, Rape, Sexual Assault, Sex Trafficking and Pedophilia including and up to the Death Penalty for Repeat Offenders.

17. JUDICIAL CONFIDENCE ACT. Judicial Prerogative on sentencing, removing the Mandatory Minimum Sentencing requirements.

18. ACCELERATED TERMINATION ACT. Streamlined procedures for Judicial Review of Death Row executions for inmates  and habitual offenders where there is definitive proof of guilt including Audio, Video and/or verified and reviewed DNA evidence In States that accept the Death Penalty Sentence.

19. FJVAA ACT. Federal Judicial Victims Assessment ACT. Requiring the opportunity of additional Primary and Secondary Victim impact statements on all Violent Felony Crimes addressed to the courts and additional penalty and fines imposed to the convicted from the Judicial review of said statements. Currently each State weighs impact statements differently and some courts or judges do not accept or require them for proceedings. This should at least allow the victims continuing impact be made part of the Courts Record and where applicable, the Public Record.

20. TRUST IN LAW ENFORCEMENT ACT. Mandatory every 2 year psychological evaluation of all Civilian Law Enforcement personnel with a public review board overseeing evaluation reports.

21. TRUST IN THE JUDICIARY ACT. Mandatory every 4 year psychological evaluation of all Supreme, Federal, State and Local sitting Judges with a public board or Bar Association overseeing evaluation reports.

22. SECURITIES PROTECTION ACT. Restoration of the Glass-Steagall Act. Restore the provisions that prohibit a bank holding company from owning other financial investment companies which were repealed on November 12, 1999, by the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act. Also the Restoration of Regulation Q which allowed the Federal Reserve to regulate interest rates in savings accounts repealed by the Depository Institutions Deregulation and Monetary Control Act of 1980.

23. NET NEUTRALITY ACT. Denying any content provider or backbone from creating a multi-tiered pay to play network, stifling content and access.

24. NATIONAL ONLINE PREDATOR ACT. Making it a Federal Sex crime to stalk, track, harass and demean individuals with the intent to cause damage to their reputation or to incite or cause physical or psychological harm to a person.

25. NATIONAL ANTI-STALKING ACT. Making it a Federal Sex crime to stalk, track, harass and demean individuals with the intent to cause damage to their reputation or incite or cause physical or psychological harm to a person.

26. CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT. Formation of the Consumer Protection Agency with ability to fine, shutdown or foreclose on predatory lending institutions and their Parents or Subsidies.

27. EQUITY IN THE MILITARY ACT. Repeal of DADT.

28. CITIZENS EQUITY ACT. Constitutionally mandated marriage and cohabitation benefit equality for same sex couples.

29. EEOC QUOTA DISSOLUTION ACT. The end to EEOC Provision of Racial quota systems in favor of merit and performance review.

30. FDIC REVISION ACT. Increased powers for the FDIC to investigate and prosecute violations of the FDIC Act.

31. EPA REVISION ACT. Increased powers for the EPA to investigate, prosecute, shutdown and fine violators.

36. TERRORIST PROFILERS ACT. Authorize Constitutional legality of Racial profiling of "Enemies of the State" and their secondary suspects in anti-terrorist prevention investigations with the required backing of a FISA warrant.

37. NATIONAL LANGUAGE ACT, Constitutional Amendment certifying that English is the official language of the USA.

38. NATIONAL LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY ACT. English proficiency exam requirement within 5 years as a requirement of new immigrants grant of permanent Citizenship.

39. MILITARY PATRIATION ACT. Any non-resident Legal Alien that is accepted into and completes an Armed services enlistment for a minimum contract of 6 years shall be granted citizenship for themselves exclusively, provided a clean background is verified and an English proficiency exam is passed.

40. ILLEGALS EXODUS ACT. Granting a 2 year grace period for ALL illegal Aliens of the USA to leave with their property and/or assets or face arrest, expulsion and forfeiture of ALL property and/or assets, prior to deportation. Included in this act is a provision to Collect DNA samples of ALL illegal aliens for verification of repeat illegal entry. Repeat offending individuals will be subject to expulsion, imprisonment and three strike ban from ever being granted citizenship.

41. BORDER SECURITY ACT. Authorization of seizure of any, partial or ALL lands within a 10 ten square mile buffer through eminent domain along all boarders of the US, North South, East or Western boarders for the explicit construction of a barrier, barracks, and/or surveillance stations. Continued Prior Ownership USE and Access will be maintained where it will NOT impact the ability of Boarder Security to maintain the security of their boarder section. No property seized may be turned over for any alternative use or sale. All lands seized via Eminent Domain for border security shall be restored to the previous owner or their descendants if said land use is discontinued by the Federal Government Boarder Security the land may not be re-tasked by the Government for any other reason.

42. RECIPROCAL REPATRIATION ACT. Reciprocal agreements with others nations for the expulsion of illegal immigrants to their Nations of origin and expulsion and imprisonment of criminals to their Nations prison systems.

43. NATIONAL UNIVERSAL HEALTH ACT. Public Option to join Medicare/Medicaid to combat private entities monopoly on health care decisions and price gouging. No non-life threatening or non-debilitating Cosmetic procedures nor un-approved FDA experimental procedures will be covered under the public option.

44. MEDICAL ORGAN SUPPORT ACT. All persons voluntarily agreeing to allow DNA data-basing of their DNA profile and future access to their bodies recoverable tissues (upon their death) to be harvested for organ tissue transplants will be eligible for 25% off all emergency and in-hospital medical care costs, the agreement is final and binding so that they cannot renege later in life without paying the medical cost saving differential that they have gained up to that point. Access to patients medical history, files and charges will be maintained by Medicaid/Medicare for billing and charge/billing aggregation service and No data or information shall be released ever to a third party without written consent by the patient, their legal guardian, or power of attorney, specific to every instance of requested data. ---Access to the DNA DATABASE will be strictly controlled and accessible ONLY to on-site monitored and classified personnel of the NIH. This data-base will NEVER be linked to any network or outside connection. All data input or queries must be accessed and authorized from a secondary fire-walled gateway service with valid authorization. Once a data query or data input has been validated by NIH personnel it will then be rescanned and input into the system. At NO time ever should this system be interconnected to the gateway service or INTERNET nor be accessed without a recorded and documented paper trail of a living physical individual establishing the interconnect.

45. NATIONAL DMV IDENTIFICATION CARD ACT. ALL DMV's should be interconnected so that the DMV and Law Enforcement can Identify, Track and in the instance of Law Enforcement, Detain and/or Arrest individuals that currently hide from State to State and obtain multiple licenses or false identification. This includes obtaining a non-driver's identification card. This card would alleviate the need for any other national identification card and can include an individuals legal Alien status within the United States and identify the Official State of Residency of the individual So that the States Rights on Drivers licensing, suspensions, violations and points can be either transferred, rejected or not be applicable if individual States do not wish to have reciprocal licensing/violation agreements.

46. NATIONAL DATA SECURITY ACT: All business, companies, corporations or government entities are required to have a firewall and an access recording system for ANY system that may have or may access any data pertaining to US Infrastructure including Transportation, Water, Electrical, Energy Generation, State Agencies, Military Installations, Federal Facilities, Federal Agencies, Government Product Development Entities and Military Contracts. All entities must show proof of security of their systems to a Government Assessor or face loosing contracts, financial incentives and possible prosecution for flagrant repeat violations. The governmental entity responsible for this inspection should be the FBI Cyber Terrorism Division with the cooperation and assistance of the NSA and NTSB.

 We see a lot of complaining going on here, America just plain sucks to a lot of folks, they are mad as hell and tell the rest of us they are mad as hell every damn moment. The funny thing is that none of them really wants to make changes in our country by making changes in their own lives. They must be pretty damn happy with their own lives cause they want the rest of us to change to make them even happier.

So why not experiment a little with your own lives to make changes that may just help change America and OUR Society and make it a better place. This is where your real power to make change is, not in handing your lives over to polititians and corporations. Hell they don't care about you in the first place, your nothing but a vote and a money spender to them now. So take back your life and change the parameters of it and make the changes that gives others a good example to follow. Sometimes the sheep just need a dog to show them how not to be sheep anymore.

First, you hate the banks, then leave very little of your money in them. Keep only what you need to pay bills and put the rest of your cash in a credit union or even under your mattress. Why give them the power of your money while they refuse to give you a better interest on its use? Cut up the credit cards and throw them in the garbage where they belong. Do you really need to borrow money to get a house? Not all of Americans will ever own a house in their lives and their lives are not lessened for not owning a home. You may even live better without owning one for a longer period of time. Again, keeping your money in a credit union may be the better option when you do eventually want to own a home. You and other members will be helping one another instead of some big bank that only wants to fee you to death and take as much of your money out of your purse or wallet as the can get. Do you really need a newer and flashier car right now? Does your driving experience really get better with a newer one? Wait and save till you need a newer one, it won't hurt you, it won't lessen your life experiences at all.

Cell phones, do you really need one? Have you been conned into believing that being wired all the time is better, safer and gives you and the kids a better life? If you really need one then find the best and cheapest service provider. Give those smaller service companies your business and save some cash that you can then put under your mattress. Do you really need to call a friend when you are alone driving in your newer and falshier car? Can't you spend a little more 'me time' and just enjoy it? Do you really need to call someone right that minute and tell them you had a fight with your spouse and are pissed off and need to vent? Why not just vent to yourself real loud and get it out of your system. Venting and screaming while alone is a great way to just blow off the steam and to keep your private life just that, private. No wonder everyone gossips, you give them the information to gossip with!

Many people complain that it is just not worth it to write, e-mail or call their government representatives. Well Yeah, because you don't do it everyday they don't care. If you really have an issue that you think neesd to be addressed then contact them three times a day if need be, get them off thier asses and make them have to contact you back. Make them do their 'friggin' job by keeping your voice and interests in their face 24/7 baby. This does not take much time or effort so stop being so damn lazy and get your voice, your face and your issues in their faces. They may hate it but if they don't want to do their job then make their job harder to do and they will leave and open up a spot for those who do want to do the job the right way.

If you are mad at the way kids are today then do something more about it. Find out who their parents are and let them know their kids are causing trouble in your neighborhood. Hell get out on the porch and scream at them some. Call the cops on them if they are rude and cause trouble. The police are not there just to catch criminals, they are also there to keep the peace. You want your peace, then ask the police to help you and your neighbors. If other parents will not be responsible then let them deal with the consequences of their children's action by having to bail them out or go get them at the police station. I know for a fact that most of them will not put up with that for very long.

Education got you down, then go to all the parent/teachers conferences, write a letter to the school or the teacher with your concerns, call the Principals and adminstrators up, give them a polite piece of your mind. Become a damn nuisance if you have to. Remember that squeeky wheel reference, well it works, you do get oiled after a while.

Corporations and business used to provide well made goods and wonderful services or they did not last long in the open market place. If you buy crap you get crap. Don't but it! Stop spending your money all together on cheap crap and save it for better things. If you go somehwere and get crappy service then speak up at the time you get that crappy service. Let others hear you rant and rave if you have too. Mkae managemnet do their damn job of managing the business instead of sitting it their offce playing slatarie on the computer of watching all the spy cameras. Hell, if they where out in the public part of the business all the time they wouldn't need all those spy cameras.

And last but not least, the media and how it drives the news. Turn the damn TV off and gather your information another way. Once the advertizers see the viewer numbers drop they will not pay and support the crap anymore and the media will have to do a better job or disappear off the boob tube for good. Also don't push the crappy opinon pieces here on the vine. If you do, you may be just another crapmiester and don't deseave to complain to us about the other sides crap you see in the media.

There was a saying a while back "better livng throught chemistry". My new one is "better living through experimenting with your life". Your either a couch potato that is baking ino your own oven or your a REAL freedom fry that takes you potato life into your own hands and fries in your own clean oil.

When Homer Jackson hung the I DUNNO sign in the window of his diner, Homer’s Haven, he never thought it would spark a nationwide movement in support of ignorance.  “All I was trying to do,” he says, “is to get people to stop asking me what I thought.  Truth is, I don’t think much about anything.  Long as business is okay and I have some free time to hang out with the guys, I don’t much care about anything else.  Why should I waste my friggin’ time trying to learn about all that other stuff people are always squawking about?  I don’t know and I don’t care.”  But Mr. Jackson’s small protest struck a chord with many of his customers.  Business at Homer’s Haven doubled within a few months and before long, he found himself selling I DUNNO buttons and bumper stickers along with plain old food.  Pictures of his sign hit the web and went viral.  A movement was born.

In the last six months, I DUNNO has become a rallying cry around the nation.  A national rally in support of ignorance is scheduled to take place here in Washington on Saturday.  The presence of on-air personalities from all the major news networks is a testament to the strength and momentum this movement has gained in recent months.  This writer has had a chance to interview a few of those gathering to attend the upcoming rally. 

Jack and Jill are an engaged couple from Kansas who arrived here this morning.  “I used to call myself a conservative Republican,” says Jack.  “Not because I really knew what that meant but mostly because my family is all Republican.  I would throw words like LIEberal and lefty into my conversations with other people so they would think I knew something, that I had an opinion.  But I really had no clue.  I DUNNO has allowed me to stop pretending that I care about all that crap.”  “Yeah,” chimes in Jill.  “Same for me except that I called myself a liberal Democrat and used words like Rethug and fascist.  It’s such a relief to stop thinking.  Jack and I would never have talked to each other before I DUNNO came along.  Now we’re engaged and committed to raising our future children to ignore all that nonsense.  Work only as much as you have to and spend the money.  That’s what we believe.”

Ashley is a single young woman from New York who came here to support frivolity.  “I used to feel so guilty,” she says.  “I would go out to the clubs and party and people would ask me why I wasn’t doing something more useful.  Same with shopping.  I mean, Paris Hilton is my idol, ya know, but mean people tried to make me feel bad about that.  They’d say I should care more.  About what?  I didn’t get it.  Now I can just point to my I DUNNO button and tell them to leave me alone.  Love you, Paris!”

Nate is a former voter from California who is now staunch in his support of apathy.  “All my life,” he says, “I had people telling me how important it was to vote.  Do you know how much work you have to do to know anything about the junk on the ballot?  I used to stand there and stare at it and then start checking boxes at random.  I didn’t know who or what to vote for.  Because of I DUNNO, I can give up voting and remove that stress from my life.  It’s wonderful.”

Though the formal I DUNNO rally will not take place until Saturday, groups of people have been gathering here every day.  The stories from these I DUNNO supporters are all similar: stop trying to learn about complicated issues and concentrate on having fun.  Knowledge, it seems, has become archaic.  As I look around me, I’m awed by the intensity of commitment to this movement.  It remains to be seen how much of an impact I DUNNO will have on the political process in America and what it will mean for the future but the man who started it all isn’t concerned.  “If people are honest,” says Homer, “most of ‘em will admit they never knew anything in the first place.  So why pretend?  Some people will get by and some won’t.  That’s how it’s always been.  Knowing stuff won’t change a damn thing.”

This is satire, folks!

I have been paying very close attention to the Republican Parties Crew that is running for the President of the United States and I must say that the tied has come in, and what I mean about that is that these Guy's is nothing but a bunch of castaway's.

They still want to run this Country the same way it was ran fifty year's ago, Don't they understand that they need fresh ideas to tackle the problem's that this country has and one is stop attacking the President because it didn't work when he was running for the Office then and it's not going to work this time and it's mainly because they don't have any fresh ideas.

Well the debate is over and the back and forth on who was the percieved winner and losers were are in full swing. The media is now a twitter on who won, placed or showed. The one thing I did notice from reading about the debate is that the questions were simplistic, stupid maipulative and really had no relevence to what we non-media and non-poltical Americans are dealing with. While these two groups scratch each others backs to get our attention we are left with many unanswered questions. WTF!

I am really tired of the pimp/whore relationship that continues to create the downward spiral of political debate and discourse in America.

So, here it is my peeps. What is your number one question that you would have liked to ask the Republican candidates now running for the office of President of the United States?

Here is mine "Do you support the tax cuts for outsourcing jobs overseas"?

This is of course about those candidates in the GOP who want the job. If you come in here and play with anything else it will be seen as off topic and deleted.

Write you own damn article about the current president and don't try to derail this one. I am tired of that stupid ploy.

From time to time the idea of secession from The United States of America has cropped up in different areas of the country. The thinking behind this was freedom from the power of the Federal government. Some of it was fanned by the fear that the Feds would take away second amendment rights of the state citizens. Some of the thoughts behind it was the idea that states should be able to nullify federal laws they were not happy with. There was even a idea from a group of Native Americans to create a Republic of Lakotah in Wyoming, Montana and Nebraska.

This idea had cropped in Texas, Alaska, Vermont, Georgia, Montana, The Pacific Northwest and a group called The League of the South had attempted to re-create the idea of a new southern confederacy.

Here are some of my thoughts on this idea of secession.

First, much of the infrastructure of each state was created with Federal money that came from tax revenue payed by all Americans, the interstate highway system, railroads, the electric grid, dams, irrigation, clean water projects, farm subsides, land reclamation, subsides for law enforcement and the courts, subsides for small business, subsides for housing, welfare, subsides to corporations located in the state, Federal govenrment grants to state and local governments, recreation, and local, state and federal parks. The list of help provided by the Federal government and ultimately the American people through out the land cannot be ignored. Should a state be allowed to walk away after receiving so much help? Should they be made to pay back all these Federal tax dollars spent there?

Second, If Alaska or Texas were to seceed from the union and was then invaded by a foreign country, would these two former states then expect the rest of America to help them if they were to be invaded? They left the union because they wanted to go off and do things on there own, Why should the rest of us then help them get out of this predicament that they created? Would you accept your sons or daughters deaths so these states can do their thing? Would it be OK to spend defense money on defending a former state who wanted nothing to do with the rest of us until they really needed our help again?

Third, Does anyone in these states really believe a smaller Republic could do the things needed to be a successful Republic without any help or support from the rest of the country that they cut ties with? Should they expect the rest of the country to continue to trade with them, let them have access to food supplies, water coming in from other parts of the country, continue to be a part of the country wide power and telecommunication grid, use our roads and highways for their own benefit? Would Texas be albe toalleviate the problems of illegal immigration and border issues? Would Alsaka want help with fishing rights when foreign countries invade their waters to steal thier fish? Could they expect to trust other countries to respect their right to exist?

And last, What makes these folks think they would escape the percieved tyrannny of the Federal government and that their new Republic would not create a more local tyranny? Why would they think their new Republic representatives would not impliment laws that they have a problem with? Does local control alway equal truth and justice without corruption, malice and bad law?

Walking away from the United Sates may look romantic and creating a better freedom, but really succession folks, you have not thought this thing all the way through. If you act without thinking you may just create the thing you say you hate the most.

I love reading and learning more about the history of our Country. Looking at our past helps me to see why the political strife is what it is today.

What really angers me a little is to see people trying to debate and discuss politics and what America is with just basic High School history and nothing more. This pervasive laziness of history is what creates a lot of misunderstanding, anger and out right bat $hit craziness. What is it with people who want to debate and discuss issues and politics in America without an in depth knowledge of what went on in our past?

Some of the back and forth is about the definition of what America is, "we're a Republic, no we're a Democracy, no we are a Federation, no we are a Confederacy of States, we are one Nation under god that is inseperable, states rights means secession is a reasonable thing and noble thing".

In the beginning Nationhood was not even brought up, Nationalism was not even a part of the process. The word 'nation' was even stricken from the Declaration of Independence. Danial Boorstin, a noted historian, describes that the Declaration of Independence had "created not one nation but thirteen".

The resolution put forth by the Continental Congress on July 7, 1776 states " these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States." during the earliest part of our Country, each colony and then state, created its own armies and navies, its own money and banks, its own laws about native Americans in their particular state, they created their own taxes and levies and court systems. Each citizen saw themselves as people of Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Delaware and participants of their state first and as citizens of America second. Each state had so many differences that it was important that each had different laws and ways of doing things.

The word "Nation" does not even appear anywhere in the Constitution. The very word 'Federal' comes from the Latin word 'foedus' and describes a relationship based on a 'good faith' between our States. Back then there was no real support or interest for America as "one Nation under god". There was a constant back and forth on what took precidence, state government or Federal government. We are still fighting that issue today and it has never really gone away in the discussion and debate.

The idea and ideal of a Republican government was not so cut and dried back then. There were many who believed that a country so large and growing as ours could not support the idea of a Republic. The French philosopher Montesquieu considered that a Republic can only work well in a limited territory and would become too unwieldy in anything larger than a small area of geography. Some Founding Fathers even thought that some States were already too large to have a Republic that would or could work well within its size.

Because of these differences in outlook and the differences in each states social and economic structure, secession was talked about a lot, even before the Civil War secession was a part of the political debate. The first spark of secession was not about slavery and North against South but cropped up between West and East, The Whiskey Rebellion was about taxation without representation. The dreaded Whiskey Tax had Western Pennsylvania farmers up in arms. By August of 1794, many of these Western farmers were ready for war against the Easterners and the Federal government. In October, Federal troops literally invaded Pittsburgh Pennsylvaina to put down this rise to war. The leaders of this Whiskey Rebellion escaped to Spanish Louisiana and the threat of secession was soon over.

In 1812, New Englanders were talking secession over the war against Great Britain. They were angry over what they called "Madison's War" and the Louisiana Purchase and they said that these two things were a danger to the Republic. So again, the North was angry and ready to succeed from the Union of United States.

The Union of these "United States of America" was not as strong back then as many Americans now believe. Lincoln was really the president that helped create the notion that 'the Union of the United States is one Nation'. His idea that we cannot seperate into littl Nations was an important step in creating what we are today, a stronger Nation. He helped infuse the idea and ideal that we are a Nation and can never go back.

The strife between states and the Federal government was and still is what creates political strife in our Nation. Do we want to keep and protect our Nation or do we want to go back to the notion that we are 50 different Nations that are just tied by a union of faith? This is my question to all Americans. it is not an easy question but one we all need to ask ourselves everyday.

The accompanying photograph is of Dzunuk’wa, a shy hairy giant found in the forest within the Kwakwaka’wakw territories, towards the northern end of Vancouver Island.  Some view her as a fearsome creature that can be the source of great wealth. 

When Duane Pasco completed this carving in 1973 he probably never envisioned how it could represent wealth pouring into Seattle city coffers. The carving now resides in Occidental Park looking away from the water. When all is as it should be the pole would face the water, as they did when such things mattered.

If you are a resident of Seattle you have noticed that parking meters are appearing faster than mushrooms in our rain soaked woods. Not only are meters appearing overnight but also the hours of payment have been extended to eight PM in a number of neighborhoods. More meters, longer hours combined with the increased cost per minute is inviting many to stay close to home nodding to the redundancy of their TV machine.

Recently I weathered buckets of rain to spend the afternoon with Woody Allen and invited guests romping around Paris in the middle of the night. I cruised the neighborhood deciphering all the posted instructions on how long I could park and in which geographic direction the car must not intrude into while I was enjoying the film.
I thought I had it all figured out.
I parked about five blocks from the theater, as I knew any meter would expire leaving me indebted to the city for yet another parking violation.

Surprise, surprise! When I returned to my car, after spending $10.00 to get in the film and $5.50 for popcorn, I was welcomed with a $48.00 ticket for enjoying myself for way too long. I missed the part about not leaving your car past six PM on days beginning with any letter in the alphabet.

I long ago gave up going downtown as there is no longer any there there that justifies the parking rates in the garages. Am I going to have to consider staying even closer to home?

I get it. You want us out of our cars though you are not offering good alternative methods of getting from neighborhood to neighborhood in a timely manner. I just wanted to see the film, not spend half a day dedicated to the getting to and the getting from logistics.

At $63.50 per film I’m thinking about increasing my indebtedness to Netflix, who somehow finds me within a day-

This is a serious question, no really it is. Anyone who knows me knows that I have written many Sarah articles in the last two years, this will be number 26. they all were tongue in cheek because I could never really take her serious enough to write a serious article about her. To me she has always been a cross between the bitchy head cheerleader and the class clown. There is no real meaness involved in the statement it is just how I see it. She has helped create this impression with all of her movements and statements and the media and many of us have hung onto everything that comes out about Sarah. Many ask why we, meaning liberals, talk about her all the time. Some think it is all our fault that she gets so much attention. Well, to a certain extent I have to agree with that thought. The funny thing is that those who blame us never give Sarah any blame for all the attention. It is as if she is just doing her thing and we should just let it go and not follow her as she seeks the attention. That argument is just plain, or Palin silly.

Making fun and/or denigrating politicians and famous people is not new and many of us do it right here. Liberals don't just own this, conservatives and middle of the roaders do it too, hell even people who consider themselves apoltical do it. If you look back at history, yellow journalism, political cartoons and many opinion pieces, they are all about bringing down the powerful and famous, you see this constantly cropping up. Humor, sarcasm, and verbal political assassination are nothing but an integral part of the process and we take the time to disseminate and enjoy it. No side or faction owns this, we all own this baby! And if you say you don't even enjoy it just a little then you are trying to pull the wool over our eyes and yours.

Her recent bus ride had me thinking that this was her last hurrah before the e-mails came out and the race for President heated up. She is smart enough to know of her limited appeal and when she doesn't run she will have written her political epitath. Anyone who doesn't believe this is either kidding themselves or is just playing with the facts. She is not running and was never really serious about running in my opinion.

So, here is the basic premise of my last Sarah piece (well I did promise this before and be advised that I may break that promise again), Does anyone really think her recent actions or any of her actions are about running for the White House? The other premise is to see if we, the vine community, can really talk about this without a bash fest going on about Sarah and her followers. (this will be the hardest part viners, I know it is because I want to make fun of her right now, damn I hate inconsistency, but every human has that so I am trying to be consistant here, tough job, LOL).

Come on viners, show us all you can comment on this issue with intellect and constraint, you may feel better about it if you do. If you can't, we may laugh at you instead of her. You don't really want that do you?

Representative Anthony Weiner has his "weenier" in a roast of a political fire that looks like it might end his fledgling porno career even before it takes off. 

Sending a photo of his scrawny weenier on Twitter is an act of desperation for a horny teenager, but for a man 46 - it is indicative (no pun intended) of a Congressman so lame he doesn't know enough to call an "escort service" when he is romantically inclined and his wife is out of town?   How slow is that?  Not Congressional material.  Washington D.C. has more hookers per square inch that square inches , noted an unnameable source from the Washington, D.C. Tourists and convention bureau, "many are serving in Congress".

Congressman Weiner admitted that he is a "sexual freak", but that shouldn't keep people from voting for him.  His spokesperson says that he is considering accepting the "lucrative offer" from Fox TV Network News to join their staff of sexually disgraced political pundits, including: 

1. Bill O'Reilly, who dodged a bullet by paying off a female staffer with a 3 million dollar settlement for sexy harassment;
2. Dick Morris busted as a "political adviser" for paying for toe sucking sex from a prostitute with campaign funds;
3. Newt Gingrich, the thrice married wannabe Republican nominee for President of this "cheer" USA; adulterer par excellent.
4. Sarah Pal-in, confessed adulterer whose soon to be ex-husband is en-snarled with a prostitution/massage parlor bust in their bustling cosmopolitan city of 7000;
5. And, Ann Coulter who recently came out as a man thanks to extensive counseling from Chaz Bone.

Congressman Weiner would be a "Winnie "if he accepted the millions that Fox is offering him to join the staff of the cable network that he has criticized so veraciously for their lack of journalism decorum.  Tony has also criticized the partisan Fox TV of perversion of journalism.

"Politics makes strange bed fellows," a political sage was quoted as saying the first time he got caught with his pants down, "but, I don't know who this guy is or why he was in my bed.  Maybe he is part of the hotel staff and was making my bed when he fell asleep," the sage offered, then, immediately was stripped of his standing as a "sage" for a non-sage like ex-cuse.

A spokesperson for Tony (soon to be stripped of his Congressional garb)  Weiner has hinted that Hustler's offer to photograph the soon to be former Congressman are "on going and look pretty good".

We cannot escape or flee from the fear, we cannot hide from it, we can only control it and turn away from it if it is harmful to us as individuals and as a society.

We are given more information than Americans have ever had before. It takes very little time now to correct mis-information, lies, deceit, fear mongering, and political falderall but we continue to have knee jerk reactions to some of the most simplistic and down right stupid notions. "They are taking our guns, gays want to ruin marriage, the poor want everything the rich has, all Christians are evil, all Muslims want to institute Sharia laws into America, athiests want to ruin our moral fiber, taxes are evil, regulating the market is destroying the economy, all business people are greedy and evil, all lefties are commies and hate freedom in the market place, all conservatives hate individual freedom." I could go on and on here and you could too.

A black and white outlook on any subject may be simple and give people a strong sense of stability and a stronger sense of who they are but it soon turns into ideological claptrap for the inherently weak willed and weak minded of us. Some of the most ignorant and stupid seeds here are nothing more than someone promoting someone elses opinions based only on unfounded fears. Much of it is only used to fan the flames of fear in our hearts and minds. Much of it is used to promote one ideology over another so that specific ideology wins an election. After the election, the fear is again used to stay in power. When that happens the other side then turns on the fear spigot and drowns us in their fear garbage, lies, deceit and mis-information. Are you enjoying the process yet?

Of course, this is not new. Since the beginning of society, those in power have used fear to control the rest of the population. They also use it to put any enemies on notice that they should always fear us. Terrorists have learned this one simple lesson and have used it over and over through out history. They don't need a large army or even a strong government to control us, all they have to do is provide a little violence far away from us and we bring that violence into our minds and into our homes and it drives our lives and our decision making process. We have let them control our lives and our actions and we don't even question that. They now have total control of us and need do nothing more than create messages, e-mails and desseminate words that further drive us to hide from life. Anyone still like everthing about The Patriot Act? Are you ready for a national ID card yet? How about fingerprinting and photgraphing every one in our conutry, do you want that so you feel safer?

The Media is a good example on how fear drives us mad with more unfounded fears. Instead of just reporting facts that help us understand what is going on, they instill a certain amount of fear into almost every story. They need us to be weak and to capture our interests as easily as possible. Fear drives their numbers up and makes them more important in our everyday lives while also making them more money. The breathless reporting of a missing child gets us all worried that our child wil be next unless we close off from the rest of society and hide from any stranger. The man walking down the street is not just taking a walk, he is out to get you, your children and he wants to steal all of your possesions.

Now I am not suggesting we throw caution to the wind and trust anyone and everything but come on here folks, are you going to let unrational fears keep you locked up and shaking in your boots every minute of everyday! If so, then you have let them put a fake gun to your head.

Fearmongers are trying to control your mind, your life and how you vote and how you see the world around you. A whipped dog is easy to control. Are you a whipped dog? Do you let others control your every action and thought? Fearmongers are the worst enemy of a free and open society. Are you letting them destroy our freedom and liberty because they are pandering to your political outlook? If so, you are just another whipped dog or you are just evil but just don't know or care.

Stand up and bark every damn day against the pandering fear mongers. You will feel better and stronger by doing this and you will take full control of your life. You will protect our freedom and liberty for all. Liberty and freedom means being strong in the face of adversity and fear!

Right now, we are in the early stages of the 2012 election process and the politicans have done nothing more than speak of fear and of future fears. Has any of these pandering nitwits given us a positive message? have any of them really proposed new or better ideas? Where is the BEEF! Right now they are just offering us all gristle and bones to chew on. Are you enjoying your meal yet!

You can either be a whipped dog that is collared by others or you can be a dog that controls your own life! Take back your life everyday because if you don't you will be just another dog waiting to be used to bite at other Americans. Get out of the dog pound and walk with free dogs! your very life depends on it and so does all of ours.

Abortion is one of the touchiest subject for anyone to talk about. Many have very strong opinions on this issue and we can see how it has played out in the political arena time and time again. One of the things that is not talked about by some opposed to abortion is that it is not always just about morality when a woman chooses to have an abortion, sometimes it is about the fears of having a child and how that choice may alter other peoples live too.

This is an issue that has many ramifications that may seem like a simple choice of morals but it also is about economics, fear of the future, social standing within the community and family and the repercussions involved for the men and women who choose to go forward with the preganacy or to terminate the pregnancy.

When I was 16 years of age I had the opportunity to think about this issue on a very personal level. My girlfriend at the time told me she was pregnant. Back then there was no easy way to get birth control. The only avenue I had was to find a bar that sold comdoms in their bathrooms. Being 16 made that very hard to do. They did not sell condoms out in the open and I could not ask for them at my local drug store. We were in a major dilemma because we chose to have sexual relations before marriage. (no surprise there).

What the hell was I going to do? My girlfriend was living with her grandparents because she was kicked out of the house by her alcoholic mother so she already had a family issue to deal with and this prenancy made it worse. I went to my mother and told her our problem. After scolding me a little we both sat down and looked at my choices. Quit school and get a job and make that hard choice. Ignore the problem and walk away from it and let the girl deal with it. But then my mother told me there was another choice, get her to have an abortion. I did not even know about abortion till my Mom mentioned it, I had never even heard the term till then.

Now even though I was just 16, each choice was not that simple or easy for me. I wanted to finish school, I wanted to go further in my life than just grab any old job and settle down. I did not want to walk away from a girl who I did love very much. I could not let her deal with it herself. Abortion was not a legal way to deal with this and that scared me too. We could all get in trouble with the law and that was really a hard issue to fathom. I was really scared on so many levels that I could not sleep, eat or even think about anything else for days. I had created a real dilemma for all involved, me, my girlfriend, my family and her family. We screwed up and it looked like we screwed up both of our lives for good. I also understood that this pregnancy was about an unborn child and that it was mine and her responsibility. This also weighed on my mind. That baby would be mine and hers and would also be one of the strongest reasons to choose to keep it.

After a few days of worry I found out that she had just missed her period because of some health issues she had. Wow, we were lucky that we never had to finally make one of those hard choices that was staring us in the face. This issue ended up destroying the relationship we did have and we both moved on with our lives after many months of sorrow about how it all turned out. A few years later birth control was easy to get and I never had to deal with this issue again.

Now things are very different, it is easy and affordable for many to get birth control, not all but many. Sex in now seen by many young people as just a fun thing to do and love does not enter into the picture for some youngsters. There are still also a lot of misconception with youngsters about sex and pregnancy even with sex education, young people still relay on stupid mis-information to one another. For some folks birth control may not be important because they are just lazy and not worried about getting pregnant. For some it may be a matter of affordability. And then some times, even with birth control, pregnancy occurs. Some woman even have health issues with birth control. If this was an easy issue we would not be arguing about it so much. So, how do we deal with it in a rational manner?

Here is my question that I would like to discuss-Do you think that if birth control was free for anyone that we would have less abortions in this country?

Since this is such a strong issue for many, I will be very strong in my moderation of this article. Please be respectiful and don't get all personal, we can discuss this as rational adults.

Born Again-er, especially those that belong to large congregation of 6,000 to 10,000 member TV Evangelical Churches are taught that "GOD WANTS YOU TO BE RICH". And, the God of Isaiah, Abraham and Luke demands that you tithe a full 10% of your gross income to the TV Evangelical, Born Again church of your choice, as long as, the pastor lives in a $25,000,000 walled compound, rides in private limos, wears $7000 designer shoes and has a beautiful bejeweled wife.

It is also required .  . . in fact, mandatory that converts renounce their membership in the democratic party and agree to VOTE A STRICT REPUBLICAN TICKET.  God told the hillbilly, self appointed, multi-millionaire preachers that Family Values is synonymous with Republican and God is in a family way.

But, above all else, Born Bargainers have to commit to giving 10% of the GROSS INCOME - NOT NET to the church so that they can continue to do more fund raising.

Have you every noticed that the Founding Fathers:  Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Henry Ford never mentioned their faith as a means to get support for their political position, but, that has all changed now with the Tea Republicans movement to return to the ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION.

Roger Ailes's iron fist approach of forcing the Republican party to nominate one of his employees is a disturbing grasps for power. The unethical exploitation of Fox's on-air personalities to hype the hand-picked presidential Republican prospects and to ignore or ridicule other legitimate candidates border on a media coup by FOX.

If CBS ,in its hey day promoted, encourage and contributed funds, TV air-time  and non-stop promotion of Walter Cronkite, their popular newscaster ,and suppose, as insane as it sounds, that a CBS executive urged Walter to run as a Democrat FOR PRESIDENT WITH THEIR HELP.

Why that is so far out, it's fictional.  Because the Southern Coalition of Confederate Flag Waving Crackers, plus Texas would be throwing the biggest hussy fit since the last time Bill Clinton got a little "head" in the oval office.

Fox TV and its bad parent, News Inc , has permitted, encouraged and orchestrated the systematic rape and pillage of America's free election process by not "smacking down" Roger, that fat f-wording run-way, out of control one half-ton MINI-MACK TRUCK of giggling blubber. 

Fox TV's wicked power grab is unprecedented in the history of America and hark-ens back to the machinations of a plot-ting Machiavelli during the Dark Ages in Mid-evil Europe, or, to the history avoid-ant modern Republicans that would be when Dick Cheney was pulling little George W's around in a red wagon manipulating any and all of the levers in the White house that could possibly lead to anything that "Made Money For Halibut's & Burtons," including starting a war with Iraq when everyone knew that Bin Laden was in Afghanistan.

The eclectic collection of former John Birch Society Members, State Right Advocates, the Amway Inheritance Fortune of the De Voes, Koch Brothers, the Murdoch's Family and Heirs, and The Cheney's- all have links to current multi-million dollar religious right wing, Evangelical groups that actively support Conservative Right Wing Republican causes and cast Democrats in the role of the Anti-Christ; in short, the inherited rich knuckle heads, like Donald Trump.

 Pal-in, like a coward, abandoned her post, quit in mid-term the elected office that voters had entrusted her to  and possibly to avoid the negative exposure of several "on-going investigations" into allegations of multiple incidents of "abuse of power" charges and other "irregularity" she was suspected of while serving as small town mayor in a community of less than 32,000.  After only two (2)years of her four (4)year term as governor of one of the least populated and most isolated states in America, Alaska, she abandon it like a deserter during combat to pursue-higher goals of becoming a Reality TV star and a media "Ho".

Critics claim that the "sharp tongued Pal-in abandoned her duties to run amuck in the "Lower 49" in luxury, as a paid Right Wing political hack under the stewardship of the Koch Brothers, Right Wing Conservative Republican Billionaires vehemently opposed to a centralized federal government that they do not own.

The brave Republican Party members that had the tenacity to complete their term in office were forced to listen to the hypocrite Sarah tell them how to run their respective Executive Branch and what national programs they should support based on her "Talking Points" provided by the Koch Brothers, Karl Rove and the corrupted Republican National Committee (RNC). 

Palin's lucrative, partisan trips were funded by the so called "patriotic" Koch Brothers, and other Right Wing, Billionaire Conservative Republican Extremists that have been unceasingly trying-to grasp control of the RNC since the volatile days of Barry Goldwater (R), a far out right wing, ex-Air-force Reserve General, Senior Senator from Arizonia and a "trigger happy war hawk", rejected in a humiliating landslide to LBJ, in 1964. 

Pal-in, the disgraced, half-governor was naturally picked up by FOX TV NETWORK NEWS and paid millions to mercilessly attack, slander, and distort the record of the sitting Democrat President Barak Obama, the first Afro American elected to the Office of President of the United State of America and a landmark occasion that should have been celebrated by all Americans as an example of how America can learn from its mistake, adjust, correct then and embrace others on an equal footing. 

Instead of helping America put a positive International presence forward, this little fox terrier of a failed governor, small town corrupt mayor went on a vicious attack filled withthe most outrageous remarks besmirching the President, his family and mother by claiming that the President was born in Kenyan and was not an American citizen.  Her innuendos implied that BarakObama mother, grand parents and the Democrat Party had somehow master minded a huge cover up to put a Muslim into the office of President of the United State and that he was going to be soft on the 9/11 terrorist. 

According to articles in the New York Times and numerous other sources, Pal-in raked in approximately $27 million dollars from her book sales, and her no-holds barred, non-stop partisan speaking engagements and paid TV appearances.  Palin's disastrous Vice Presidential candidacyon the MC Cain-Pal-in ticket in the 2008 Presidential election was largely criticized as the reason for a competent Senior Senator, John MC Cain, (R) Arizona, a nationally know Vietnam War hero, to lose his bid to a relatively unknown presidential dark horse, (no pun intended), Barack Obama, (D) Junior Senator from Illinois, who was considered an underdog in the race.

As a potential viable nomineefor Republican Party presidential candidate, Palin demonstrates how far a field Fox TV has moved from the entertainment business that it is licensed for as a cable provider to what it has become:  The heart and brains of the Republican Party.  Not one former employee but five have been put forward by Roger Ail-es, a man the size of a small dump truck.  This is a sleazy, unexceptable dirty trick and must be stopped immediately in his power grabbing tracks.

It is shameful, that Mr. Roger Ail-es, CEO, Fox Faux TV Network News and miss-manager of the nation's most popular Hate TV cable programing has pushed, promoted and pulled five of his stations on-air political personalities as viable Republican candidates for nomination to the highest office in the United State of America and possibly one of the most powerful in the world. 

Why is Roger AND his boss, Rupert Murdoch, making such a bold, deliberate move that even an asinine idiot like me can ascertain?

Is the entire Rupert Murdoch's World Media Mad Empire, including News Corp - the parent company, about to implode? Are they looking to the future for another Republican orchestrated bail-out that they can blame on Democrats and give billions, perhaps trillions of tax payers dollars to help billionaires bribe their way out a world-wide media mess?  Or, are they just "patriots" like the lovable Koch Brothers?

Do they need their man (their former employee) in the White-house along side of their Speaker of the House, the Bawling-His-Eyes-Out At The Mention of the Word Kid - Cause He Never Sees His Own, Johnnie A. Boehner, The Weeper of the House and Designated Clean-Up Batter For Gary Condit?  I asked the difficult question, in a purely rhetorical and civil manner before the vein in me head "pops". 

Is this not an unprecedented, bold and deliberate attempt by Roger Ail-es AND his errand boys at the "Fair and Balanced" Fox TV Network News to abuse their airways to promote handpicked candidates to run for the Republican nomination while continuously denigrating-Democrats as wild eyed Socialist intent on forcing every Christian woman to have an abortion, even if they are not pregnant.

If this doesn't boil your blood - what does?  Fox TV and Roger Ail-es action if not unlawful, and, I suspect that it is, certainly is a Born Again Christian sin in contrast to the biblical teachings of Jesus who couseled his followers to "Give To Cesar What Is Cesar and Give To God What Is God," when asked about opposition to Roman rule. 

If this flat out, arrogant activity is not illegal, unethical, and in violation of our election laws - it should be. Surely, even Shirley could make the case that it is a "sin against humanity" and the worst dirty tricks since Richard Nixon's Watergate days and Dick Cheney Water-board is as American as Apple pie.  Where is my America? When did Fox TV Network News get controlling interest and boot the majority of Americans out.

Roger Ail-es (that's Ail-es according to newsvine.Com's spell check) has thrown his weight (estimated at just shy of 1/2 ton by some observers) behind everyone of his former Fox TV employees, like a gambler hedging his bets.  One of these five monkeys has got to rise to the top and now it looks like Blood Libel Sarah Pal-in, the drop-out governor from Alaska will win the party's nomination because Rupert Murdoch, News Corp, Roger Ail-es and the Fair and Balance Fox TV Network is throwing their weight around again.  Someone get a gun and shoot Glenn Beck.

Why is Roger doing this?  Is it in order to get control of the White House by disabusing his broadcast license and giving generous donations of free television coverage to the candidate of his choice?  That hardly seem fair, equitable or balanced for a FAIR AND BALANCE organization.  Do it to you? 

Fox TV and their storm trooper trained so called newscaster  lavish praise, and on-air 24/7 promotion on their hand picked candidate and providing these former Fox TV Network News employees with a free national cable TV platform to peddle their wares.

The question that federal regulators should ask is:  "Why is Fox TV Network News so desperate to get their candidate in the White-house?  What does Roger Ail-es boss, Rupert Murdoch, the Australian pirate, and CEO of News Corp, Fox's parent company, need or want from the office of President of the Unit-ed States of America? Is Murdoch empire, like Trump's. about to collapse and he, like all Republicans White Federal Government "Trash Talking" Billionaires looking for another hand out, not a hand up from the government that they accuse of being anti-business, anti-capitalistic, anti-American and Socialistic? 

The five favored former Fox TV candidates would not be even considered if not for the unending carnival barking, obscene media idolotry shown these faux candidates by 'Fox TVs staff and on-air personality of this disgraceful Flux News organization. All of these former employees ( Trump, Pal-in, Hackable, Bach-man and Newt) should be promptly dismissed out of hand as political CLOWNS, HAS BE-ENS AND EXTREMIST NUT-JOBS, to put it politely.

Let us consider the field of folly that the near half-ton Roger Aisles has promoted this election cycle as viable Republican candidate and honestly ask yourself is this man sane, or what?

2. Donald (The Comb Over) Trump - A boisterous bellicose birth-er advocate is the sole owner of the world's worst faux comb-over. That badly bleach bag of damaged hair on the front of his forehead is at least 18 inches long and is combed backwards to cover up the fact that Mr. Trump is bald. A man that can't face his own baldness cannot face the enormous issues confronting our nation. 

Trump, as a legitimate presidential candidate, is, and was an obscene joke.  For starters, he has not registered to voted in seven years, has never held an elected office in his life; he is a notorious bald face liar who exaggerates his net worth; brags about the fortune that he made working-only from the small start up stipend ($50,000,000) his father left him. A fortune equivalent to $500,000,000 dollars in today's money. Oh me, oh my that is a lot of dough.  His daddy made it by building shoddy, over-priced public housing projects for the poor, with the generous help of grants and funds from the federal government acquired via corrupt Republicans in the Nixon administration.
