
OREM, UT – March 9, 2005 — Omniture, the largest provider of on-demand web analytics, today announced that John A. Vandermay has joined the company as vice president of engineering. In this newly-created position, Vandermay will be responsible for driving the next phase of solution development for Omniture, positioning the company to deliver on incredible growth and development opportunities in the integrated marketing solutions space.

Vandermay joins Omniture after a tenure of three years as vice president, Foundation Services R&D; for Cognos, the world leader in enterprise business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management (CPM) software. At Cognos, Vandermay formed and led a team of more than 260 software engineers and QC analysts responsible for the revolutionary development of the company’s industry-leading platform upon which its flagship products— including ReportNet, Series7 and MetricsManager—are based. Prior to Cognos, Vandermay served as the vice president of development for DataMirror, Corp, driving product development efforts that delivered significant annual revenue growth for the company. Vandermay earned his BS in Computer Science & Physics from the Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario.
