“For the 11th year in a row, Network Computing will be recognizing the most outstanding tech products and services in the networking and IT world in our Well-Connected awards 4/28 issue,” says Mike Lee, editor of Network Computing magazine. “The awards are a snapshot in time, the best of what we evaluated over 12 months in our Real-World Labs® — more than 134 finalists in more than 44 categories have been named. The winners will be announced in our 4/28 issue.”
CMP Media LLC’s Network Computing invited 19 vendors to participate in its head-to-head review of Web analytics vendors for its Editor’s Choice Award. 10 products were evaluated based on visitor identification, campaign information, path-navigation analysis, e-commerce report writing, administration, integration, training and performance. In order to test the Web analytics offerings in a real-world setting, each product was tested for one week on http://www.networkcomputing.com. and http://www.networkmagazine.com., measuring traffic for each site and globally on the two sites together. Omniture’s SiteCatalyst received the highest scores based on its superior analytics, easy-to-use interface and dynamic segmentation.
“Winning both the Editor’s Choice Award and now being named as a finalist for the Well-Connected awards is an honor for Omniture and a tribute to our company’s commitment to delivering results in a real world business setting,” said Josh James, CEO of Omniture. “It is gratifying that our efforts to help companies capture and share information for better decision making has resulted in industry recognition by Network Computing magazine.”
