Posted May 16, 2006

London and Paris - May 16, 2006 - Omniture, the leading provider of on-demand Web analytics and online business optimisation software, launches today in Europe with the opening of offices in the UK (London) and France (Paris). The company has already accumulated a list of European clients that include: Aer Lingus, BT, Dixons, easyMobile, John Lewis, Lastminute.com, Microsoft UK, RAC, Royal Mail, Business Link, Thomas Cook and Yell.com in the UK and Ireland; and eBay, La Redoute, SFR, Thomson and Voyages-sncf.com in France.

The launch in Europe follows Omniture’s rise to be the market-leading provider of Web analytics software in the USA. This leadership is attributed to the experience Omniture has gained over the past five years, helping more than 1000 customers worldwide use the Internet channel more effectively by improving the way they attract Web site visitors and turn them into loyal customers. Omniture’s customers represent some of the largest and most respected enterprise brands in the world, including: three of the top five Fortune-ranked companies; nine of the top 10 automotive Web sites; the world’s largest corporation and retailer; the Internet’s largest e-commerce site; and the Internet’s largest advertiser.

Neil Weston heads up Omniture in Europe, as General Manager EMEA and Vice President. He joins from Siebel Systems, where he was senior vice president EMEA. He is supported by the appointments of Neil Morgan, also ex-Siebel, as Vice President Marketing EMEA (based in the UK); and Georges Anidjar, ex-Epiphany, as General Manager, France. Wolfgang Allisat, formerly at Visual Sciences completes the management team as Director of Sales, EMEA.

Omniture enables businesses to capture, store and analyse information on the behaviour of Web site visitors and other sources to gain critical business insights into the performance and efficiency of marketing and sales initiatives and other business processes. Its award-winning SiteCatalyst® is a Web analytics solution that provides actionable, real-time and historic intelligence on the most profitable paths through a business’ Web site, including where visitors are dropping off, what’s driving the best results, and how different segments of visitors interact with the Web site. This information can then inform marketing and sales campaigns, and thereby increase their effectiveness.
