
London, England – July 13, 2006 — Omniture, Inc. (Nasdaq: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimisation software, has expanded its senior EMEA management team with the appointment of Mick Oak as Director of Client Services, EMEA. Oak joins Omniture from Business Agility, where he headed up the consulting group. Before that, he was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Services, for Chordiant Software, and he was part of Chordiant’s founding team in Europe.
Oak has 29 years experience in IT, business processes, CRM systems and services for companies that include Business Agility, Chordiant, Cap Gemini and Oracle. He will report to Neil Weston, Omniture’s General Manager, EMEA and Senior Vice President.
He takes responsibility for driving all post-sales service activity for Omniture, which launched in Europe in May 2006. His appointment reflects Omniture’s expansion in Europe and its commitment to ensuring that the company remains closely engaged with its customers post-sale to optimise their online businesses. He will be responsible for conducting customer business assessment reviews, project implementation, account management, best practices, education and all aspects of customer support. This will include the forthcoming launch in Europe of Omniture’s Business Assessment Program, a consultative service for Omniture customers designed to assess the performance of their online operations against their business objectives and maximise the impact of their online marketing strategies through implementation of best practices.
Omniture launched in the UK and France earlier this year (May 2006) and has already accumulated a list of European clients that include: Aer Lingus, BT, Dixons, easyMobile, John Lewis, Lastminute.com, Microsoft UK, RAC, Royal Mail, Business Link, Thomas Cook and Yell.com in the UK and Ireland; and eBay, La Redoute, SFR, Thomson and Voyages-sncf.com in France.
