
Experienced Software Veteran to Drive Company Growth in the Region
MUNICH, Germany – January 11, 2007 – Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimisation software, today announced the appointment of Stefan Berger as country manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Berger’s responsibilities will include strategic market positioning and the expansion of sales and customer activities. Berger will open a Munich office to compliment Omniture’s current operations in London and Paris. He will report directly to Wolfgang Allisat, director of sales, EMEA.
Berger has extensive enterprise software experience in both business development and marketing. In his prior position, Berger was sales director over Central Europe for Interwoven, a supplier of Enterprise Content Management solutions, with responsibility for new business and the development of existing accounts. Other milestones in his career include positions as sales manager over Central Europe for Forte, sales executive at CA computer associates GmbH, and various posts in project sales and project management at Interprogramm GmbH.
