Partnership Simplifies Marketing Campaign Measurement and Optimization
OREM, Utah and SUNNYVALE, Calif. – June 28, 2007 — Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ:OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, and Interwoven, Inc. (NASDAQ:IWOV), a global leader in content management solutions, today announced the broadening of the companies’ partnership to include Omniture Genesis™ integration. Omniture Genesis is a “plug and play” solution designed to reduce complexity and increase ROI by automating the integration of marketing tools into Omniture’s Online Business Optimization Platform. By integrating the Interwoven Segmentation and Analytics solution through Genesis, customers will gain a single view into the full life-cycle of their campaigns, making it easier to measure and optimize their results across multiple marketing channels. With today’s announcement, Interwoven and Omniture are aligning the companies’ development resources towards product interoperability, making it seamless for joint customers to integrate the companies’ respective products.
US Airways, the fifth largest domestic airline and an Omniture and Interwoven customer, expects to benefit from the Genesis integration. “US Airways handles large volumes of changes and additions to usairways.com every day. We operate more than 3,800 flights per day and serve millions of customers every year,” said Chris Blanton, eCommerce product manager at US Airways. “By integrating SiteCatalyst with Interwoven, we’ll gain greater insight into our customers’ interests and online behavior, and be able to update Web content more quickly to help us deliver a more customer-focused, interactive online experience.”
“Omniture is committed to providing our customers with an integrated approach to measuring and optimizing their online businesses and Genesis is the platform that delivers these integrations. By working with Interwoven through Genesis, we’ll deliver a deep integration for our customers that not only increases insight into site behavior but reduces the work required to instrument the immense amount of dynamic content on their sites,” said John Mellor, senior vice president, business development and corporate strategy, Omniture. “We look forward to working with Interwoven to help our mutual customers be more successful and effective in managing their online businesses.”
“For companies to effectively grow their online business, they need to apply a comprehensive approach that transforms their online presence from a static, one-size-fits-all approach to one that delivers targeted and compelling customer experiences,” said Ben Kiker, chief marketing officer at Interwoven. “Today’s announcement is another example of how Interwoven is partnering with leading companies like Omniture to empower marketers with the solutions they need to drive explosive growth through increased online conversions, greater competitive differentiation, and more interactive dialogues with customers.”
